HOUSE OF THE SETTING SUN
The project aims to provide a cinematographer and photographer with an inspiring and sensoraly stimulating residence. The young cinematographer and senior photographer are architects of light and sound in their personal works and thus are provided with a residence that caters to exactly that. The house plays with light to define spaces and set the tone of the zone. Inspiration is drawn from Tadao Ando's work with light and the inspiring nature of every sunset ever.

KATELA
The site in Akkulam is positioned on a hill with an inspiring view of the trivandrum skyline and distant Infopark buildings, small hills and of course the sunset in the horizon. This is utilized by placing all the private areas towards the views. The levels on site are used to help differentiate the private and public zones as well.

Is the driving factor in the design and is induced through use of light and views . A productive calm and homely sense of feel is aimed to be provided to the users who are popular public figures who will have guests over and will also require a defined separate private area for the family in the residence to help them keep their personal lives as private as can be

THE KOWDIAR AUDITORIUM
This project aimed to provide the people of kowdiar with a brand new community hub through a performance centre right beside the busy Kowdiar main road. It intends to attract people by having a hip cafe and plenty of space to socialize. There is also inspiration drawn from Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers' Pompidou Centre with the glazed frontage and the exposed escalators allowing the guests to enjoy the royal citys active nature

This project was a learning experiment in Building Information Modelling using revit. Facade design and curved roof shapes were designed and further improved with the use of revit. Plans, sections etc were also drawn from revit. a better understanding of form and structure was awarded to me from learning BIM

THE FINE DINING GLOBETROT
The GLOBETROT restaurant aims to provide patrons with an around the world experience by providing a tri-cuisine menu ie. Japanese, Greek and American. The round-the-world journey is signified by several travel themed decor and circular spaces. there are performance spaces so that theres always something to talk about and couples seating by the window if you run out of things to talk about on a first date and want to talk about the weather outside.

A grand and inviting foyer space with a hostess stand greets the guests with a circular layout signifying the around the world journey they are about to embark on

A central performance space attracts patrons attention and sets the mood for the diners as they enjoy their meal

A sushi bar with trained sushi masters and hibachi chefs put up an exciting and interactive performance in the live Japanese corner
