1. Khmer Classic Villa, Siem Reap Khmer Classic Villa is a type of house in which everything is quite modernized, but the concept of living, outlook concept, style are still in Khmer Style. This project is studied and analysed thoroughly like site analysis, environment, belief, religion and also the combination of what the house owner demands.

Our design is mainly designed based on Khmer style of living and art, but we still use some western style as decoration as well. The big and high front windows are to get more light into the house adn so does the left side window.

2. Mixed-Used Building, Phnom This mixed-used building project has been assigned by our lecturer in year 3, semester 2. There are some functions which we aim to are super market, rental office, rental office and sky bar.

We have 15 floors and a basement for this building.

3. Retreat House, Kep This Retreat House is projected by a client in which he wants house to stay when he becomes old. He demands a house and a café for himself and his wife and he wants it in khmer house style but in modern way. It is a competition in our school. And we ranked 2nd with this design.

Conceptual Design House Concept Design: is purposely inspired from Agkor Wat Temple bridge, combining with Khmer style of living with the way of opening to nature, water surrounding and living with nature. It is a the design of this house.

Café Concept Design: We use polygon shape for our café and a little bit change of khmer roof to form this new concept. It opens widely and freely to nature of its surrounding.

This retreat House is mostly built of reinforced concrete and equipped with a lot of mirror windows in comtemporary style. It is to get the view of surronding mountain and forest, also to get more natural light and air. Especially, we use Khmer roof tiles for this house.

Not much difference from the house, this café is built mostly of reinforced concrete as well. but it’s just we use steel structure for this building. We still use glass window, but we also use many brize blocks for first floor as well.

Activity Programming Landscape is not just a place with greenery, there is more than that. A lively landscape should include plants, people and animasl. So, we have devided our land into 4 areas, 3 land areas.

A. Fun Area A place we can see the iconic, kids can play and adult can enjoy.

B. Relaxation Area

A place where we can enjoy the nature and ourselves or even read freely.

C. Community Area A place we can meet old and new people, a place we can have picnic.

D. Waterscape Area A place with scenery of water where we relax with water.

Plant Selection Plants selection is one of the most crucial things to consider thoroughly when we get to design a landscape because it is able to attract people or animal, or suitable to that place .
