Gospel music is featured at Circle of Friends Light-Up Night.

Circle of Friends hosts Gospel Light-Up Night Circle of Friends Beaver Falls hosted a beautiful Gospel Light-Up Night on November 30, with the focus of the event being on the birth of Jesus. A full-size nativity set of cardboard and fabric that was handmade by Circle of Friends owner Donna Murphy was on display, and the halls were decorated with stars and lights. The evening began with a delicious dinner of stuffed

chicken breasts, mashed potatoes, seasoned corn and a variety of cakes for dessert. Afterwards, the local vocal quartet Sons of Thunder led everyone in singing “Silent Night”, as the lights were dimmed and the nativity scene was illuminated. After the official lighting of the nativity, the nearly 200 guests were treated to performances of gospel Christmas music by Sons of

Thunder and three local choirs: the Lincoln Park Center for the Performing Arts male choir, the choir from Church in the Round from Aliquippa, and the choir from Christian Lighthouse Ministries of Aliquippa. A good night was had by all in attendance.
