The OVO carrycot is as comfortable as a cradle; it hooks onto the frame and is the widest and most spacious model available in the market. During baby’s first months it is important to ensure that your child is always in a lain position, because babies breathe with their diaphragm and if held in a vertical position breathing becomes more difficult because the abdomen is compressed. For this reason a carrycot with a rigid base, is needed to provide the correct support. The spaciousness of the OVO carrycot means it will be able to hold your baby even when the child has grown up to 6 months. In fact internally it measures 33 cm across and 73 cm in length. This will ensure your baby is always comfortable. For long walks, having a capacious bag in resistant waterproof fabric will be important; this one has handles and practical hooks for securing it to the buggy. Whenever you want to use the car seat during cold weather, the apron of the OVO carrycot can be used to cover legs while baby is in the seat. The carrycot for the OVO modular systems are certified in line with European standard EN 1888 (code 739)
For greater safety, the body of the carrycot is rigid and shockproof and is made of non-toxic polypropylene. The external part of the body is not covered with fabric, so as to guarantee greater hygiene.

The car seat of the OVO modular system is called Smart Silverline. It is ECE R44/04 certified and is fitted with an adaptor for the OVO frame. Thanks to the adapters supplied, the SMART car seat fits onto the chassis with a simple click. To best accommodate your baby from the very first months, the seat is anatomical, with double-padding and different thicknesses and features a soft head hugger that supports the head, protecting your child from the car movements. The central double safety device allows the fastening of the 3-point seat belt, adjustable in length, according to the size of your child. The shoulder straps are padded and comfortable. The adjustable, removable hood, protects the child from the sun. It is equipped with a practical, adjustable user friendly carrying handle. SMART is also a rocking chair, thanks to its rounded base. The car seat for the 0+ Group can be used from the birth until the baby weighs around 13 kg (approximately 11 months). In vehicles with a double front airbag it is mandatory to put the car seat on the backseat of the vehicle and fasten it with the seat belt, rearward facing. In vehicles without an airbag (or deactivated airbag) on the passenger side, the car seat may be placed on the front seat and fastened with the seat belt. Installing it in rearward facing way is vital for the child’s safety, because in case of impact the child is protected from neck injuries and the weight of the body mass will be distributed across the backrest of the car seat.

For this reason, it must be comfortable and safe even when he has grown. For mums it is the mean they can use to transport their child in any weather condition or temperature as they go about discovering the world. For this reason it must be packed with accessories, handy and practical to use. The OVO buggy has been conceived with the maximum comfort and convenience for parents and baby. The seat has been designed taking care of details so that it provides the optimal comfort through all the growth phases. It is wide and comfortable and carries your child until 3 years of age. The frame is made of anodised aluminium, therefore light it is most the compact model in its category: it weighs just 9.2 kg. The large rear wheels and swivelling front wheels ensure it is easy to manoeuvre and adapts well to any terrain. The elliptical tubes give a clean-cut silhouette. The basket has been designed to grant the maximum capacity so that strolling is practical. To guarantee safety, the buggy has been fitted with an 5-point belt with protective shoulder straps and a double safety buckle, as well as a front detachable bar. User friendly and comfortable. Thanks to the adapters supplied, the SMART car seat fits onto the chassis with a simple click. To best accommodate your baby from the very first months, the seat is anatomical, with double-padding and different thicknesses and features a soft head hugger that supports the head, protecting your child from the car movements. The central double safety device allows the fastening of the 3-point seat belt, adjustable in length, according to the size of your child. The shoulder straps are padded and comfortable. The OVO buggy has been conceived with maximum comfort and convenience for parents and baby. The seat has been designed into the finest details so that it provides optimal comfort right through all the various growth phases. It is wide and comfortable and able to carry your child until 3 years of age. The frame is made of anodised aluminium, i.e. the lightest and most compact model in its category: it weighs just 9.2 kgs. The large rear wheels and swivelling front wheels ensure it is easy to manoeuvre and adapts well to any terrain. The elliptical tubes give a clean-cut silhouette. The basket has been designed to hold as much as possible so that strolling is practical. To guarantee the safety of the seat, the buggy has been fitted with an internal 5-point belt with protective shoulder straps and a double buckle, as well as a front detachable bar.
