With over a decade-plus career as a P.E. teacher, Pete Thistlethwaite has coached football, basketball, and baseball teams. His favorite teams are Toronto Maples Leafs in the NHL, Buffalo Bills in the NFL and Golden State Warriors in the NBA.

During his European tour in 1999, Pete Thistlethwaite cycled through England, Spain, and France. Pete Thistlethwaite has also been to Costa Rica three times, traversing the country via bike, hike, and kayak.

Peter Thistlethwaite loves to travel. He has participated in many ski vacations, visiting resorts in Vail, Whistler, Big White, Alta, Snowbird, Jay Peak, and Killington. Peter Thistlethwaite also enjoys boating to the British Virgin Islands, chartering out a sailboat for the last five visits with family and friends.
