2. Terence Bay is a quiet neighbourhood, please respect the neighbours - no loud noises after 10pm.

3. Drinking water is located in the blue bottles in the water cooler (located in downstairs mechanical room).

4. The house is heated by radiant in-floor heat - if you change the thermostat it will take a full day before you will notice the temperature change.

5. We are on a septic system - please flush toilet paper only!

6. Feel free to use the BBQ outside - *however we do not supply charcoal* (nearest place to purchase is Prospect Foods in Lower Prospect). BBQ tools are in kitchen drawer.

7. Please use the outside fire pit responsibly - firewood is not provided. Please ensure fire is completely out before leaving.

8. There are two recycling bins in the upstairs mechanical room, one is for paper, the other is for glass, aluminum and plastics.

9. The freezer is located in the downstairs mechanical room.

10. We provide access to the private outdoor fire pit and the indoor wood stove. *Although there may be wood available at the cottage, if these amenities are required for your stay we recommend bringing fire starters (paper or other), kindling (a hatchet is available), and dry firewood.

11. When starting a fire in the interior wood stove please follow the following recommendations:

- open a window for a few minutes to equalize the cottage pressure prior to starting the fire

- do not start a fire if there are high winds outside because smoke will not properly exit the flue

- the initial fire should be quite hot to warm the flue and initiate the updraft of the smoke

- wet wood will be difficult to light, create a lot of smoke and should not be used.

Thanks so much!
