Travel along the beautiful Volga River as we make our way between Russia's largest and most fascinating cities: Moscow and St. Petersburg. Both these cities are rich in history, art, architecture and Local, International and exquisite cuisine. We will sail along the magnificent Volga River, the peaceful White Lake, the winding Svir River, Lake Onega full of picturesque islands, the Baltic Channel – one of the most important engineering projects of the early Soviet era, Lake Ladoga – the largest freshwater lake in Europe, and the famous Neva River. 800 kilometers, 5 days, we are stopping for few hours and then sailing again, all day, all night.

The first stop from Moscow is charming town of Uglich. The place offers our guest the best place for shopping souvenirs with normal prices. Yes, the guest loves it, we as well. In the morning, there is a local market, with real fresh garden and homemade products. The “babushkas” are very pleased to sell you some delicious pirozhki, cheese, vegetables and fruits as well aromatic herbs. You are happy, they are happy. Next stop Is Yaroslavl city, the only city in between Moscow and St. Petersburg, everything else are small villages. Yaroslavl is beautiful place for a walk, shopping, café or of course again local farmers market. Delicious fruit and vegetables from the south of Russia, fish, cavier, milk products and sweet. Almost 7 month I am with the company. As HR Coordinator I am responsible for the crew members on board - to have the teams in manning and all request of them. Actually I am from Germany, near by Berlin but since 2014 I am living in Basel, Switzerland. I could collected experiences on River Ships and Ocean Liners and this was the reason to became a part of a river company. And therefore I took over the position in January 2017. Few words about my live when I am not in the office‌ Especially in the summer season I love to sit at the Rhein and enjoy the evening with friends or doing skiing in the winter time. So far the season was very challenging but we are on a good way and I am looking forward to see at least few of you somewhere‌
