Welcome to volume 3 of the Great Aussie Road Trip Activity Booklet. This will be your unique travel guide, introducing you to a wonderful land that is our home! Let’s hit the road and have some fun!

Meet the Great Barrier Reef
Put on your scuba gear and take a deep dive into a wonderful, unique ecosystem right in our backyard!
‘Barrier’ reefs get their name because they protect wildlife from the open sea.
The Crown-of-thorn starfish is the largest starfish in the world and munches on corals.

Be a Keeper of the Reef!
Something fishy is going on, the seahorses are hiding in the seagrass and our corals are losing their gorgeous colour! Can you help find the seahorses and colour in the corals?
An octopus can change their colour to scare or even hide from predators
Great Barrier Reef: Did you know corals can get stressed and turn white? This is called coral bleaching.
Sharks actually help control the oceans population

Road Rules
