Chris Bates Chris is the Managing Director of KBE Human Capital where he heads up the Legal Recruitment team. He is a Director of KBI and KBI Woonta, a Director of Parkerville Children & Youth Care, Founding Chairman of The Piddington Society, and Chairman of and consultant to a number of boutique commercial law firms. Chris took on his first Board role at the age of 26 and was appointed Chairman of the Board shortly afterwards. Chris is a former Committee Member of the Robe River Club and an active member of The 500 Club. Prior to establishing KBE Human Capital, Chris was a Director of specialist recruitment companies Interpeople and Rigforce. He is a former lawyer, having completed his studies at the University of Western Australia, and he is now a guest lecturer at UWA’s law school. Beyond business in Western Australia, Chris and a team of Australian/Brazilian business associates were involved with the successful acquisition and vend of a Brazilian Iron Ore Project. In 2011, Chris became one of the youngest people in Western Australia to be recognised in the 40Under40 awards, and was awarded as the top performer across Western Australia for combining business and charitable initiatives.
