Synapse identified 203 private- and public-sector organizations operating in Hamilton’s life science cluster. At the centre, driving economic growth, were 98 private-sector firms, supported by a network of organizations providing the infrastructure, resources and expertise required accelerate innovation and unlock opportunities.

With entrepreneurship and new company formation taking centre stage in Hamilton, 43 new life science firms have been established since 2016.
