A PERSONAL STORY Ever since my childhood, I have had a fascination for nature and botany. Being in nature has always given me joy and great inspiration. So, in 2013, when I made the decision to start my own design studio, it was an obvious and natural choice to focus on the plant world and all its appealing motifs. It all started with the dream of combining the fascination of nature with the immersion of a craft and the pleasure of creating design that is longlasting and universal. I believe that despite cultural differences and the shifting trends and tendencies, the joy of nature, its unique shapes and its deep tranquillity are aspects we all can appreciate. What started as a small experiment became an occupation - more and more artworks and products are now being sold at retailers worldwide. Ever since, I have been grateful every day to work with what is one of my biggest interests and with designs that hopefully brings joy and well-being into people’s homes and lives. Studying the nature around me, collecting plants and working with handmade graphic imprints of the botany is how my designs originate. Using the imprints, I develop collections that add an authentic, harmonious and artistic touch to contemporary homes and spaces. I hope you will find inspiration for your own personal space.

POETRY OF NATURE The elegance and grace of a straw, a branch or a leaf reminds me of nature’s inherent splendor. A world full of poetic beauty lies right in front of us if we turn our attention to it. My collection of printed plants and grasses captures a moment of nature’s grace and ornamental characteristics. The colors are dusty and faded like a meadow on a sunny, hazy day. 5

ALGAE & SEAWEED I am fascinated by algae and seaweed and their ornamental appearance. The plants do not have roots but grow on rocks under the sea. Throughout the ages, this plant has served various purposes - as food, for one - given its ideal composition of nutrients. Seaweed, which is also known as the vegetable of the sea, is an extremely healthy and popular ingredient in modern gastronomy. 17

”Poppy seed blue” print 30x40 cm
POPPY SEED A fascination with the geometric shapes of the botanical world is what resulted in the poppy seed collection. I was inspired by the dried seed heads from the many different species of the beautiful poppy flower found around the world. The hand-drawn shapes are printed on paper into a collage and then enlarged to have a modern appearence resembling abstract objects with an organic and sensuous expression.
