Networking, business development and growth in Denmark and Poland The chamber of commerce – The Polish-Danish business network in Denmark Danish companies with a business interest in Poland can use the Polish-Danish Chamber of Commerce as a network and information centre – and so can Polish companies doing business in Denmark.

Our inspiration and long-term goals We wish to create an organisation in Denmark, in which business people with an interest in Poland and Denmark can seek information and meet each other. Our objective is to be the place to go when you look for unbiased information about business relations between Poland and Denmark. We have been inspired by other Danish-Polish networking activities in Poland. We are a democratic organisation with a long-term goal of improving Polish-Danish relations and business and thus supporting growth, welfare and mutual understanding between the two countries and their citizens.

Dear Members and Supporters of the Polish-Danish Chamber of Commerce I am extremely honoured to be given the opportunity to address the present and the future members of the Polish-Danish Chamber of Commerce. I also welcome all the supporters who are keeping their fingers crossed for the success of this excellent initiative.

I have always believed that taking into account the intensity of Polish-Danish business contacts there will be a natural demand for a bilateral organization headquartered in Denmark that groups Polish and Danish businesses in a similar way as the partner organizations in Poland.

The business between Poland and Denmark is growing exponentially. We have approximately 500 Danish companies operating in Poland and they have invested in excess of 25 billion DKK in our country. We are lucky to have so numerous Danish investors in Poland. I believe that small and medium Danish companies make an important contribution to the local development in different parts of Poland.

I am happy to be informed that from the very start the Polish-Danish Chamber of Commerce will have two offices operating: one in Zealand and one in Jutland. It is extremely important that companies interested in doing business in Poland could be served locally by this organization and take part in Chamber events which will be hosted in both parts of Denmark. I am hopeful that in the future the number of local points where the Chamber is active will be growing.

As the Ambassador of Poland to Denmark I will be observing the development of the Chamber and I will support its initiatives wherever and whenever there is such a need. It is important for me, however, that the Chamber should remain an independent organization focusing on the needs of their members. I will be happy to listen to your advise on current development of our bilateral economic relations, your successes and challenges.

I am looking forward to working with the PDCC in the future and meeting you during events organized by the Chamber.

Member benefits People meet, share knowledge, create networking relations and generate growth We invite PDCC members to join networking seminars at least four times a year. Minimum two of them will be held in the eastern part of Denmark, in Copenhagen, and two in the western part, in Herning. At our events professionals are going to share the recent knowledge on business development in Poland and Denmark.

Our members are welcome to suggest to the board specific topics on which they would like to get more insight.

The seminars will typically include four elements: 1.One or more experts give a presentation on a specific business area; 2. One or more business people/senior managers tell about their own experience; 3. A buffet dinner with networking and socialising; 4. During the buffet, participants will have an opportunity to have individual consultations with the speakers.

Mission and vision PDCC is the voice of Polish-Danish business network in Denmark.

PDCC’s vision is to increase cross-border business and network between Poland and Denmark in order to promote growth in wealth, welfare and common understanding between the two countries and their citizens.

Membership PDCC offers its membership to companies with business interests in both Poland and Denmark.

We also invite other organizations, associations or governmental agencies who promote, support and facilitate business relations between the two countries.
