EMC news - A flood of red took over the W. E. Johnston Arena as 750 women wore their best crimson outfits to raise funds for the Canadian Women’s Heart Health Centre. For the past 26 years, the Carp Agricultural Society has put on an extravagant Ladies’ Night, with half the proceeds going to the upcoming Carp Fair and the rest put towards a charity of the president’s choice. With heart disease being the number one killer of Canadian woman, President Wendy Cox felt it was an appropriate theme. The charity of choice is also close to Cox’s heart. See PRESIDENT, Page 17
