EMC News – A new information kiosk at Colonnade shopping centre is expected to open up a whole new generation to the good work of the Ryan’s Well Foundation. The kiosk, ¿ttingly located along Ryan’s Well Drive within the shopping complex, was of¿cially unveiled Dec. 13. Designed by local resident and marketing professional Tom Graham and his team at TD Graham + Associates, the large installation features the gold and green colours associated with the Municipality of North Grenville’s ‘Green and Growing’ branding. In attendance for the special event were North Grenville mayor David Gordon; Colonnade Development president Cal Kirkpatrick; Ryan’s Well Foundation executive director Jane Baird; Graham; as well as North Grenville’s director of planning and development, Forbes Symon, and economic development coordinator Teri Devine. According to Kirkpatrick, the idea for the kiosk and the naming of the road in honour of Kemptville native Ryan Hreljac and his Ryan’s Well Foundation, came from a municipal councillor. “...It (kiosk and road naming) was actually councillor (Terry) Butler’s idea and it was a promise I personally made to him almost six years ago,” Kirkpatrick said. “We’re a bit behind schedule, but it’s here now.” Kirkpatrick indicated that becoming a part of the community in which they develop, is something very important to Colonnade. “We’ve always been very philanthropic as an organization and we believe very much in supporting the communities we do business in,” he stated.

QR codes also allow visitors to scan the board with their smartphone and be directed to the foundation website (www.ryanswell. ca) or North Grenville’s new economic development site (www.explorenorthgrenville. ca). nice tribute. “The North Grenville community is like family, with Ryan growing up here. This recognition from the community is something that we are honoured to be part of,” she commented. “This community has been very supportive of Ryan’s Well for nearly a dozen years now, helping us raise awareness of clean water and sanitation in the world.” Hreljac’s story is an inspiring one, said Gordon, and that the community is proud to be home to the Ryan’s Well Foundation. “We are unveiling this kiosk
