At Performance Foodservice, Atlanta we strive to provide excellent service to meet your needs. In order to maintain service excellence we ask that you work with your Area Manager to determine your preferred delivery dates and 3 hour delivery window. Staying consistent on those delivery days will help ensure our routing and operations team route, select and deliver your order under the best circumstances. If you need to change your standard routing days or 3 hour delivery window please speak with your Area Manager to make those changes. Ordering off scheduled delivery days may result in us not meeting your 3 hour delivery window but we will always do our best to meet your needs. Our minimum delivery is 25 cases.

CREDIT POLICY
We at Performance Foodservice, Atlanta continuously review our food safety policies and procedures to ensure that we are complying with Federal HACCP regulations and that we are exceeding the expectations of our valued customers like you. Food safety and quality assurance are our highest priority in serving our customers. Please familiarize yourself and your staff with our updated credit and return policy in order to better protect your business, your guests and Performance Foodservice.
GENERAL POLICY:
Damaged and spoiled product, as well as incorrect items, must be identified and refused at the time of delivery. It is essential that you examine your delivery and compare it to your invoice before signing. All damaged, spoiled or mis-picked items must be noted on both copies of the invoice before signing. Items listed on the invoice that are not received should also be noted on the invoice. Credit will not be approved otherwise.
Please note: Fresh ground meats, fresh seafood, fresh egg products and fresh poultry can only be returned during original delivery.
PICKUP OF DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCT:
After your driver has left your location, you may discover items that are damaged, or that you have received the wrong product. This requires requesting a pickup which is initiated by contacting your sales representative or customer service. A pickup request will be issued, and the item will be picked up at the time of your next delivery. Drivers are not permitted to pickup products without authorization.
PICKUP GUIDELINES:
• Products must be in original packaging and re-salable condition.
• Pickups for produce and refrigerated products (except fresh ground meats, fresh seafood, fresh egg products and fresh poultry) may only be issued within 48 hours of delivery. A signed pickup return letter verifying the cold chain is required for all refrigerated items.
• Pickup requests for dry and freezer products must be issued within 10 days of the invoice date. A signed pickup return letter verifying the cold chain is required for all frozen products and all dry canned meat products.
• No pickup will be issued for fresh ground meats, fresh seafood, fresh egg products and fresh poultry due to the cold chain accountability standards mandated by Federal HACPP regulations 9CFR417 and 21CFR 123.
When requesting a pickup, please make sure you have the following information at hand:
• Customer number
• Invoice number
• Invoice date
• Item number
• Quantity to be returned
ALL Pickups are subject to approval by our FOOD SAFETY TEAM. If a spoiled or damaged product cannot be returned, please wait for proper authorization prior to disposing of product. We may ask for photos depending on the scenario.
KEY DROP CREDITS
On authorized key drop deliveries, the customer does not have the opportunity to check-in the product in the driver’s presence. However, examination of the product should occur at the earliest opportunity and any credits must be requested within 24 hours through your sales representative or Customer Service. Credits will not be approved outside that window.
