PARK ALIVE WITH MUSIC THE AVENUE PARK WAS ALIVE WITH THE SOUND OF MUSIC ON OCTOBER 17 AS LOCALS TURNED OUT IN DROVES TO EXPERIENCE THE INAUGURAL THE SOUNDS OF SPRING EVENT SPONSORED BY SUNSHINE COAST COUNCIL, COOLUM BUSINESS AND TOURISM AND THE NATIONAL BUSHFIRE RECOVERY AGENCY.
Hundreds of people made their way to the park, affectionately known as The Duck Pond, to take advantage of food vans, live music, and great weather. Peregian Springs News - November 2021
The majority of the funding for the event came from the National Bushfire Recovery Agency which is charged with helping communities affected by bushfires to bounce back stronger than ever. The good news is, a second event has been planned for Sunday, November 21 from 2pm to 6pm, with music, food, face painting, drumming workshops and free jewellery and weaving workshops on the menu.
