WATER WORKS BEGIN HEAVY MACHINERY HAS ROLLED INTO THE AREA BETWEEN RIDGES BOULEVARD AND COOLUM INDUSTRIAL ESTATE THIS MONTH AS UNITYWATER TAKES STEPS TO STRENGTHEN LOCAL WATER SECURITY.
Unitywater Executive Manager Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions Amanda Creevey said their contractor, Shadforth Civil, had commenced operations on the site as part of the installation of a new 10km water main, to be installed at Mount Coolum Peregian Springs News - August 2021
and connect to existing water infrastructure on the western side of the Sunshine Motorway and then north to the Peregian Springs water reservoir that “will provide water supply security in this area and service about 11,000 people”. “This is an important project to meet the needs of the growing Peregian Springs and broader Sunshine Coast community,” Ms Creevey said. “The works are related to the water infrastructure and once complete the area will be revegetated.”
