The development, which has been several years in the making, is owned by Billy Lids Pty Ltd and will produce 38 units, four Soho commercial units (offices/shops with accommodation attached) and a food and drink outlet. Sunshine Beach builder Mark Bain is the director of Billy Lids Pty Ltd and has previously built several stages of the Peregian Springs development. neighbouring project at Lot 3291 Koel Circuit where it has plans for 58 units and a Tavern. The development application, MCU21/0248, has been through the public consultation phase and is now with Sunshine Coast Council planners who have recently requested an extension until April 4, 2022, to consider the application and make a decision. In nearby Pavillions, McNab Peregian No. 1 Pty Ltd, have applied to build 33 residential dwellings on the hilltop lot at 5 Pavillions Drive, rather than the 51 multiple until dwellings approved for the site when they bought it. As at March 24 Council and the developers were exchanging information, with a date not yet set for making a decision. This application does not require public notification.
