Hospitality businesses across Peregian Beach, Peregian Breeze and Peregian Springs are doing their bit to drive local business this month.

The Peregian Project, where customers are presented a bingo card and encouraged to have it stamped at least 10 times to go in the draw for three prizes of a $500 Peregian voucher, was created by Sharlene McKenna from Pizzami and Georgie Lazarus of Goldie and the Green Grocer at Peregian Breeze. Participating restaurants include: Pizzami, Pitchfork, The Lanes Cafe, Siam Spicy Thai, Coco Cantina & Co, Skal Coffee, Burrito Eastern Beaches News - October 2021

Bar, Indique Indian, Peregian Pantry, Coconut Kulture, Outer Square, Pool Cafe Peregian Springs, Peregian Beach Hotel, Baked Poetry Cafe and Hand of Fatima Cafe. “Our community has responded really well to the initiative and we have had a lot of positive feedback about it being a great way to encourage ‘shop local’,” the duo said. “ It has also been lovely to hear of people getting out and trying new places.” The pair said they were hoping to have at least 60 entries in the draw based on uptake so far. If they were to do it again in the future, they said it would go for longer, with earlier pre-promotion.
