Welcome to Perception Dance Company’s 2024 recital! We are so excited that you have come to share your evening with us, as we watch these extraordinary dancers bring their songs to life! Tonight you will be touched by their beauty, dedication, passion and love for each other! It looks effortless when you watch these talented girls perform, but there are countless hours that have gone into every performance seen here tonight. As you watch our youngest 3 year old dancers, remember not to blink, because they will be graduating seniors before you know it! Soak in each smile, each shuffle step and each adorable tutu represented by our little dancers! As you watch the talent progress to our senior dancers, please embrace these seniors in your heart, as they perform in their last recital! Our seniors are not only talented, but have also shown amazing dedication, work ethic and leadership by juggling school, studio dance, dance team and graduation! These girls have not only mastered the art of dance, but have also gained the lifelong skills of time management, commitment, responsibility and teamwork. These skills will follow them to college and beyond!
Thank you to everyone that made this show possible today! First of all, thank you to our amazing teachers! Thank you for dedicating your time and your talent to these dancers today and everyday! Teachers…you go above and beyond to make a difference to these girls and give up so much of your own time to make them priority! A huge thank you goes out to everyone working today, including our staff, our parent volunteers, lighting and sound engineers, our photographer and videographer, and our alumni. Also, thank you to all of our awesome parents for continuing to support your dancer and their passion and for sharing your children with all of us at Perception Dance. Finally, and most importantly, thank you to all of our studio dancers for being the best second family ever! Our teachers love each of you like you are their own. Our dancers turn into best friends throughout their years together at the studio and we all become a second family to each other. Thank you for being our Perception Dance family today and forever!
Let the dancer that you have come to watch today feel your love through your support…clap loudly, yell and whistle when you see something that makes you happy, and hug those beautiful dancers at the end of the show! Please give our eleven graduating seniors a little extra love today. We will miss them tremendously, but will always cherish our memories made with each of them at PDC!
Enjoy the show!
