SYNOPSIS & BLURB – Insanity & Madness Purpose of the eBook The intent of this compilation was to keep the author's mind active given a prolonged period of non-usage of technical skills and in this process he sought to use his typing skills to entertain friends, family, close kin, and some individuals on topic aspects as selected by his good friend David Robert for some part. It was hoped that this treatise would aid the author in finding the right girlfriend(s) in life but in this process he 'accidentally' made this in a partial minor autobiography.

Nature of the eBook As is usual of Lexmilian's work is that the compilation is intended to be read sequentially for the greater part, this as writing styles change and revert back to standard in a manner that is hoped would keep the reader's attention. I. The Altruist's Loneliness Through Madness It was only through antsy banality in being that hath crooked his indentured acquitting in an diffident manner to be forgiven as is.

He had not befriended misery, to just amiss…

Enduring cloistered emotions he encompassed— more than his illicit own self's trespassed could favourably handle in due heard demise.

It wasn't commonplace to befriend & itemise…

Had he befriended Satan it ought be austere— Austere the notion that angels loveth clear!

In God he placed his fate, and such he live to tell this tale, behold, in bold due shiv…

A knife, quite sharp, of which bloodletting ought ensue for a test of courage in ebbing.

But days before he had manifested a yelling— A shout to appease the Gods; the Kami thing!

Not a self-pleasing notion for purity was I— But forgone in chances to meet likeso reply he yelled out loud so all could hear him so.

With a broken window, and open door, no foe!

Where were the altruists, where were schizo?

Spewed out wise words; wherein was a psycho!

Shouting out + speaking to self in an endue.

Courageously eradicated knew not he overdue.

Pleading in an asocial manner feigning dumb— He knew not yet, but a coffin lay unwelcome, ahead of him, not too far, but near a death!

His own replaceable demise, duly his breath.

Jumbled into a torrent of confusion, a fair life's paradox amidst mundane insane affair!

Where were the people? The streets so empty.

The balconies and windows dark, o so grisly!

Smart assy he felt not as he beckoned forth his cries for a neighbour or perchance Urth!

Checking his taps, on the basin, he noticed liquid mercury streaming with silver driest.

Where was water? Where was life? But where??

Unable to quench thirst succumbed to prayer he did at the great cost of his sanity avid thoughts of sheer madness accost him jested.

Knotted up in thoughts laid A manifestation of a damsel of a statuette of Buddha in Hid he did, and appease the — he did, through

bare he saw her… on a lily liner his living room. spirits in doom puppetry gestures foolishly.

Not quite sure why, he had tuned with clone.

A clone of his spirit, a parallel dimension where his spirit parted with his twin being.

One thing sure is that the other beeth king.

Immorally & illicitly both coexisted as one— Him not desiring schizo driven duel as done he fought away all manifestations by action when he noticed a light on his balcony shun.

Out, he noticed a homo afar atop a building lighting a torch across vast scope in awing.

He was far, then he was gone, thence struck!

A projection of his spirit hit I like amuck!

The parallel dimension being gone, now this!

I sought to find this being for he had hiss…

Something in his beam brought clarity to me.

But now demons lurked my house and I filthy!

II. A Three Eyed Apparition & Insight BED I WENT: A SHIVA-LIKE MANIFESTATION NEXT *********************************************** PSYCHOSIS BY LOGIC! - I DO NOT BELIEVE IN THIS… I went to bed and tried to attain deep sleep, and then images of this slender bald headed early 20’s tall and tanned individual came up inside my mind. In these visions it became apparent that it might be residing on the apartment block just next door.

Of course, I dismiss these thoughts as silly, and as I succumb into deeper thought I then receive this ethereal sensation that was rather physical over my body, along with the semi-projected thoughts, “I am coming to play with you”, by which time I get up from bed rather perturbed and do a quick check of the house to see everything was safe.

It does not stop there, the living room sliding glass door slides a few centimetres open alongside a huge gust of wind, and I just knew something was coming as my light bulb shorts out.

In panic, and deciding to go over to my friend’s house a block away for smokes, I run outside my apartment without looking to the left passage of my corridor.

As I sprint towards the stairs the ‘physical eerie’ sensation overwhelms my body for a body numb, and behind me I hear heavy running footsteps alongside heavy breaths.

Logically deducing I was being followed I do not turn back but instead run, thinking this foe would quickly reach me I had no time to take the stairs so I run to the end of the corridor to leap over the balcony from this 3rd story floor. Well, leap is an overstatement, because constructions had been taking place on every level and there was a parapet adjacent to the ledge for construction purposes.

I then leap over the balcony and start climbing down this metal X-shaped parapet like a monkey with no hesitation, my mind calm, but as I turn to sight the foe chasing me I see exactly who the vision had described to me... A young and slender bald headed tanned man but with a twist, he had a third yellow eye on his forehead.

It initially had me mesmerised and my body froze, and almost instantaneously a triangular conical flash projected from my proximity and bringing focus towards this third eye as the image dematerialized, the figure astonished about my leaping over act.

It seemed like a brief lucid dream, but being hanging on the parapet I decide to climb down, it was not much effort; no one was to see me anyway.

So I decide to walk to my friend’s casually thinking about the supernatural phenomena worrying as to whether mum and the neighbours were ok, and thinking about my light bulb.

Well, I pass a shrubbery with some flowers and Willow, or something, told me to get these flowers for some reason. I collect the flowers and continue to walk to my friends but from a distance I notice he was either out or asleep through his bedroom lack of lighting.

But it does not stop there, Willow (let’s say Willow is a thought apparition) induces me to walk to the back of the apartment complex, I thought, “Heck, why not, let’s have a look there”.

I continue walking around the building and I find a set of stairs leading to a tennis court.

Inquisitive Willow guides me up the stairs and I notice most individual’s home lights were off but at near top of the stairs I had clear view inside an apartment’s living room in all due clarity, this only a couple of meters away. In there I sight a lonely girl, of mature age, getting all excited about watching TV with her parents.

And that is when Willow (aka. instinct) told me to place the flowers right on the wire mesh doors leading to the tennis courts.

Ok, so Willow leaves me alone, and I start walking home and no bizarre phenomena occurred next. I went home and had a pleasant night, well, that is what I want you to believe anyway...

III. The Importance of the Right Hand of Justice These destructive charged up gaudy feelings had accrued over the course in lied timings.

Those were eerie days to the monitored self For I identified these times with bookshelf.

Many books had he read and fairy myths avid a show of surreal madness assured he jutted astray from this reality and in tune rooted his faith with the paranormal sordid routed!

He had a chest of which a body could fit in— Little would he know that soon he be within.

A choice was made to cut off his right hand and save the self or the hand in due demand.

He chose to save the hand of dogged justice and not the body by which a coffin's malice of a cruel joke had laid herein as due fate!

Who was he? I was a man who chose to berate!

Mundane horror unfolded next as realization that indeed he should soon face death's pun!

Insane I had become to realise ghostly sand lay at door step in form of a ghostly stand.

Who placed sand at his doorstep? Why a form?

The sand was shaped like the angel of death— Crooked and pliant, plus direful due breath.

There was no escaping, I would need to move.

Into the chest, my coffin to be, and abused.

Who hath forced this decision? Was it Shiva?

Mayhap it was his neighbour? Maybe a sonata?

The song and tune of death before him Allah!

Why? Oh' Derailed Why? Oh' Boastful

why? Why had he been vanquished so? from a normality, in deed to outgo. why? Why had he been vanquished so? he became only to know he was dido.

Nothing much mattered in this sweet embrace.

An embrace with death and a shadow in place.

His shadow was alive and talked to him well.

Momentous fear whilst engrossed as to impel.

Face to face at an edge boundary of reality he fought off well such notions of insanity.

For he knew it was not real and abnormality it beeth that was so focused on him in duty.

Why? Oh' why? Why had he been vanquished so?

Nothing much mattered in this sweet embrace.

IV. Lost Love for a Stripper Doubted and hence doubtful, he was bushed altogether due to an evening spent drinking with his mates – it was Todd's buck's night party.

Todd may have been altogether overanxious for prosaic was his idea to celebrate a custom, before marriage, of venturing down a stripper's club in pierced sacrilege to the trust he endowed his future wife to be. Addled was his state of mind, or let alone we were all forgetful of all sense of decency as indeed my night was planned to be cheap and devoid of any such pathetic immorality which in a sense showed my inner being a sense of anointed pity, not for only my mere self but towards good ol' Todd too…

But what happened next made me the hapless victim because as stylish as I was in censoring myself from perverse sights of semi-naked women I was deemed a chicken for adhering to morals.

Out of peer pressure, and sheer coincidence in nature, an amazing brunette dumped on me a dumbstruck sense of fatherless love as she sneaks up on me and quaintly offers me a private lap dance for a mere $20 in one of the back rooms. I knew not to expect, I thought she would dance and nothing more. What I sighted next cannot be erasable to my sense of being and consciousness since the dearest girl deadpan's herself entirely with her glorious body in full show of nudity, unexpectedly so.

I disdained her advances to have me lick her places downunder (true and blue) by simply swerving my head the other way when she projected her torso forwards towards my face. I knew not this girl, we would never be, why was she so amiable to me?

Devoured I ought to have done her, as bratty and undebated I should have followed my destitute innate carnal desire as a man – I was in need and she beckoned me towards her, but contrite I felt at my blackened act of immorality – I left…

Having loved but evaded a dark cuteness in itself, I lied to myself as I listened to the eclectic civil high codes of poised about morality pervading society.

She had been my fallow chance at love but I judged her in peaked erroneous manner that so collapsed my faith that she beeth indeed encompassing a pure soul – she was pure as I later found out…

Two days later I attend my manageable course in university of commerce, and as cocky and soundingly needy as lady luck would have presented a chance, there she was!

Sitting right on front of me…

The same girl, struggling to make nice ends meet in a manageable course in university but no longer the stripper but a caring and compassionated soul.

We were both embarrassed – regret I not talking to her and instead quitting the course. 

A Raw Orange is the Key to a Man's Heart Sucked up to romantic notions long foregone I sit here wishing I could hear her moaning Guided by her act of granting me thy orange A disused orange - not bitten or munched on A non-insipid orange full of flavour & more Forced out is the elusive notion for a lady To let down her feminine attire to so agree An orange so ardent and succulent to decree Bankrupt and famished was man for an orange Invested in vitamin C and all the challenge To eat it raw with skin and all to scavenge Every morsel and every bite ably nutritious Clouded and closed-minded had such acrimony Been to my sentient self in asylums of ages They fed me off food but grateful for fruit I always was happy with an orange for a bud Faded pesky in adroit skill at biting agony Every nudged bite but a humble reminder fee That acrid rattled zest taste made me cocky Ought I put down my funky orange then tangy I would never have known what gloomy agony— it was for a man never to be passed ecstasy Curious I was at first orange's moment envy An orange could pave forth gabby talks duly All a man wants is an orange to be fed easy Kept out or jumped on are not catty tritely Now at home I am prone to but not attracted To such orange consolations for I have aged Bold niggardly fruit I love you so much for indeed thou'st has shown that food is score She said she could cook but with zest décor I could do best with orange due theretofore I was sold-out and riled to eat a raw fruit In front of spectators for such is offshoot Of the insatiable lust for vitamins and ute My car, my ute, a blunderbuss in substitute Heard you not? Just pass such I shall devour an orange with Right on front of thine blind I feign you not nor am dogged

fruit to see— skin plus all barbital eyes up in apprise

I eat an orange raw for I am me not retired I am not repelled by zest and plead I hired For the gaudy act so giddy in zest acquired I had bartered for an orange when locked up — All I desire is to be treated and fed well…

VI. A Car Ride of Mutual Insanity/Sanity I had been smoking cannabis for ablutionary reasons far and wide in the hope of destiny.

A fate whose reasons were unknown to me see?

A bag a day for ludicrous experiences haply!

had I expected to be taken on a murky that same very evening with abberancy! and Amy take me on a fantasy car ride they discuss a notion so outlandishly!

They talk of becoming super This mayhap on an afterlife They dreamed of heaven I an I knew not was going on for

heroes some day. to be far dodgy. afterlife wryly.

I was so stoned.

What an eerie notion to be in disputability!

In contradiction to one's own self, so gone.

I wished they had remembered that equitably but it seemed only the drugged up, recalled!

They had the front seats, my fate chauffers whereas I lay barely conscious on the bench.

Eternally grateful I am for their seatbench.

Our severe arduous thirst for lore quenched.

Lightning bolts had struck close entrenched.

Did it hit the car or was it the noble tree?

It felt like the car for all flashed cagily.

What a ride it was, all the way so horribly.

I thought we were going to the dinky casino.

Instead we just went round and round ghetto.

There was no sense in the joyride deathblow.

None of us would remember as they were high!

High in life, spirit, drugs, and enthusiasm.

I just wish I was home for I was doped down.

I awake the next day not sure how I arrived.

Was it a shared dream, did any of it happen?

I remember the flash of white dashing light.

I am sure both of them remembered it aright.

Nowadays I am down in abysmal due anhedonia.

I know not a way out or how to contact them.

Those days of youth do mean nothing anymore.

I no longer smoke Cannabis and with reasons.

Ganjika, so magical, afflicted hell onto me.

I survived at a severe cost to my mortality.

I just wish I was not so stuck up in values for back then I choose~could have loved Amy and maintained Jamie as a best man for life.

There were other people but none as deluded‌ — Just a joyride to remember for light struck!

VII. The Terror of Anhedonia Decreased capability to experience pleasure, Alongside a depressed overshadowed bad mood.

Are some symptoms related to anhedonia afar…

Experiencing a state-related anxiety period, and a decreased need for any social contact— These symptoms relate to anhedonia at large!

I have no 'flat effect' nor I fail socially.

Also, I have friends who are darn awesomely great but note a decrease in social contact…

Anhedonia, is it here to stay, I know not…

Clinical observation says I'm fantastical, but I fear not, for I ceased to 'dream' o!

I have pleasure with ice-cream; not a goner!

I have pleasure in sleeping in, none duller.

I long to have reason to be active as aider.

Rather simply, I have lost sense of purpose.

No longer do I see myself as a multipurpose being in self and free will justly so bonus.

I am glad I am not bipolar or schizo driven for that would be the end of I in concision!

OF NOTE While earlier definitions of anhedonia emphasized pleasurable experience, more recent models have highlighted the need to consider different aspects of enjoyable behaviour, such as motivation or desire to engage in an activity.

My anhedonia is not so bad, it is slight and curable, all I need is to find purpose in my life through love itself – LOVE is the answer, discipline the solution, necessity a must, and rewards the treat! In this process a state of conditioning can be set and all afflicted anhedonic individuals (those with SEVERE cases for instance) can be cured given adequate 'guidance'.

VIII. The Anguish of the Ottoman Aryan Prince It had been several boring days and the individual had been overcome with apathy for he cared for not much anymore asides from sheer love itself for never before had he found someone as pure as him nor as simple hearted in this colonized region of the world. Indeed in this tale we are relating to an individual so drawn in and secluded in the managed days of latest, but in his mind frame (amidst this loveless stricken deluded state of madness) he was in fact prophetically envisioning the long foregone past near Turkey or the Ottoman empire of old.

Unbeknown to him a spiritual linkage had been made between the incumbent and a sole bygone white prince from long ago whose perkiness and physical looks were similar in being for such is the coincidental fluke through the passage through time generation after generation – they were similar‌ There was a difference though, this incumbent from the past may have been indeed stoic in nature and mayhap naughty and pulled down in a blistering array of emotions that was altogether inherent of a persona that was more easy going than this individual as of late. The experience itself was felt within the confines of one's dark enclave, his bedroom, as he had accidentally stumbled into a state of Astral Projection of some sort without desiring it to be the case. The method was one in which the individual was able to separate his consciousness from his physical body – but this whilst STILL in control of the physical body! The projected double, referred to as the Astral Double, freely moved through the Astral Planes or the Real Time Zone. The real Time zone was the closest thing to the physical, and had almost every semblance to reality. However, this Astral plane of which his mind was so attuned with led him to dwell on moments of old as experienced by a noble prince of some generation from long ago for the visual imagery portrayed within his mind (in this semi-dream like state) was a manifestation of a higher plane in which one allegedly can travel (aka. he received clear visions inside his mind when with eyes closed).

During such projections people have reported; flying, passing through solid objects, seeing into the past and future, communicating with the deceased, and visiting far away planets.

This phenomenon, of course, can only be proven by the individual performing it, unless a collective Astral Travel incident is to be taken place mayhap with the advents of transhumanism on the ages to come. But regardless, this is not quite where this tale is headed because quite simply this modern person in our times of today had fabricated within the deepest reaches of his mind a scenario in which he was placed on a first person perspective to what a certain individual, mayhap Aryan prince of some sort, of the past had felt when committed to a state of marriage by his family kin and other incumbents, and was guided into a dark room with his concubine/~wife to be, this to be followed through after where both individuals were to then to be naughtily consummated in their sacrament of intercourse of love making as one would say. Little was he to know he soon would have been ABUSED!...

The room was dark, there was no light source, and sheer blind trust the prince of old had not even sighted his wife/bride to be yet but the astral projecting individual could see other things and in turn he saw the ditsy arctic blonde of which was directed naked into the chamber where both husband and lover alike would consummate in love for the very first time without the proper ceremonies – after all, according to him and other royalties she was to be just a concubine for heaven's forbid a blonde marrying an Aryan1 for the sanctity of the then bygone era of pure bloodline heritages (only in royalties). So the question arises, what happened in that pitch dark room?

The man, always sensitive to a woman's or lady's emotions decided to listen to his concubine in a good show of grace as indeed it certainly would have been within her best intentions to both please and be pleased – the former being what the royal man intended on doing most.

"Shhh…", she said, "let me please you first and then afterwards you can do anything you desire with me", she claimed. The damsel, whose name I cannot recall for it presented itself in only a distorted dream of sort, proceeded to lick the prince starting from his toes all the way to his upper body and then every crevice embodied within the man always reassuring him that soon he too would get a chance to familiarize himself with her body utterly and fully. In this process she used her tongue, she tasted the man, touched him in profane ways, washed him with her own saliva however lifeless he was to the whole ordeal for to him this was not sexy but a manic out of tune bitter chilly state of submission gone kaput at the mere trust's notion that indeed soon she would be his to obey his every command for never before had he the chance to be so domineering with the fairer sex for such is nobility itself; respect for individuals – but this was soon going to change since she was HIS concubine and soon briefly in the future she would be obeying his every command like some submissive bitch as he certainly was not fluffy in nature, he had patience to grant her this one pleasure for the future held many good times ahead for both, unless (to be told later)…

The damsel/whore/concubine/lady overcame her fears of being seen as a lower caste and in this sense, whilst the prince was just immobile in his bed, she gave him a thorough wash with her many passionate licks so as to even brush her tongue in the process so that it would have no speck of essence of what was hers but instead her tongue by now had become part of him; her breasts heaved, but the man not even touched her as of yet, by which time she exclaimed, "Your tears are going to be delicious…". The man felt very confused with such a statement, he felt like giving her a trash, to beat her, strike, slap, flog, clobber and spank her as she ignited some fears within him that would outdo all notions of pain he had felt in his 1

victimized past before as a teenager by growing with such racial labels as he portrayed – he wanted to be seen as normal and indifferent to others, so it was only natural that his level of trust would surpass that of his concubine and in turn excel him to such a noble status of which he was allegedly claimed to be, an Aryan2 (aka. "noble", one who roams, "one who skilfully assembles", peace, friendly, hospitable, proper, to beget, or simply one who is adjustable to many). It is however a novel notion that this dream manifestation be allocated a After conquering the peoples of the Indus River Valley, the Aryans continued to push their territory outward. They moved towards the regional position (through southeast, and conquered the people of the Ganges Plain. Ahem, and knowing that the Aryans3 had multi-cultural superiority, this prince to be let (as a manifestation of this TV-dream like projection) the concubine fully savour his body in a state akin to being raped by modern days; this Ottoman mascot prince as projected in visions of mine (purely very vivid 'conscious' dreams whilst in bed and awake with my eyes closed) was not This is what this alleged spirit/Kami was trying to tell me all along… enjoying himself because when he started to touch her and caress her she simply told him not to, not yet anyway – his good heartedness did not want to hurt the virgin concubine on her first time in intercourse so he let her have his way with him because soon it would be his turn (so he believed). After all, the Aryan world was ruled by the men. Women & concubines were subject to their husbands/masters and were considered their property; however, both boys and girls were allowed to attend schools and receive an education4 – they just had traditional gender roles.

What happened next, as the 'conscious' vision unfolded (still with my eyes closed) I then witnessed the Arctic blonde concubine floozie heading outside the pitch dark room where she just severely violated the prince's right of decency as a man as he was not able to explore her body, her nether regions, or let alone touch her, he just had been raped! He got himself dressed and went outside the bedroom in pursuit of his concubine lover that he had, who in turn, in her rush, stormed out of the building whilst still completely naked running for her freedom and twisted joyful bliss in content that she just had taken advantage of royalty (makes me think of Prince Harry and the photo scandal to a degree) without giving him the chance to discover her own body – what he wanted was love, to be able to feel her heart beat, to know her in her entirety; and this is why polyandry is essentially immoral in contrast to polygyny because men, as they get older (in contrast to youth which is probably the reverse scenario) are imbued with greater wisdom than the opposite sex in a general sense only, there are always exceptions for either gender… And as musician Robert Hazard wrote in his famous song, so well popularized by 'Cyndi Lauper', in the song 'Girls Just Want to Have Fun', it was indeed a notion that females are inherently more appeased to social experiences and 'sacred moments' than men are in general, who in turn are mainly objective as was the case of the Prince above who had his mind transfixed towards the future by which whose turn he would be able to have given love and pleasure to his escaped concubine who in turn was just closed minded in her twisted sexual fantasy without consideration, sympathy, or empathy towards the man who she just bedded as quoted in my dream like state, "Your tears are going to be delicious…". Empathy itself is classified by a state of 'mirror neurons' within the brain that activate when someone sees someone performing an action that triggers such emotional responses. Still, no research has compared the frequency or intensity of mirror neuron activity between the sexes. And in sci-fi terms it does appear to be the propagated notion in society that yet women are more empathetic than men (simply because for a man to show emotion is a sign of shame – a complex issue, we still feel) and in relations to 'Star Trek' the Romulans would categorize the feminine side whereas Vulcans would categorize the male side/sense of cultural induced mannerisms as propagated through the course of time (evident in other species too, ie: Lions/Lionesses & much etcetera in terms of male dominance).

But anyway, as the story goes, in this vivid conscious state dream of mine the Aryan prince did not shed a single tear, instead his expression just became placid but I could ascertain that this potentially imaginary being did feel some form of pain as I too have been placed in similar scenarios as have many of my other friends (never to the extreme as this prince in

this dream/vision of mine). After the blonde trashbag ran out of the room the man in my vision wiped himself clean with a towel (in the dark) and then got himself clothed before exiting the room and confronting the concubine's parents as to her illicit behaviour, sexual assault, and violative abuse that was encumbered onto him through such a force in outrage as she ravished him completely with fake promises that he would be able to express his love to her also – that's all the prince wanted, whereas the concubine sought no love except gratification that indeed she took advantage of royalty without even being seen naked as the room's lights were switched off prior to the acts. From my vision it then appeared that it was the concubine's parents who motivated her to do such a crime to see if royalty would cry at being so abused – he didn't physically, but by what I saw of his face (he looked similar to the photo at the beginning of this spiel) he was as devastated as a Vulcan can be – in a complete paradox of emotions so confused and so twisted that in turn repressed his very ability to let alone solicit a facial expression nor cry. I imagined he felt something as akin to this picture on the right above.  In other words he was mature about it, but so overcome with grief I was at witnessing such a descriptive vision that I could not help it… I personally burst into tears and cried so loud the whole neighbourhood could hear at very late hours of the night. I had relocated to my balcony in my apartment and as I sat there praying with loud words to God itself so as to warrant that no individual go through such pain, and I began to believe, to an extent, that this individual was merely me and the way women have treated me in the past – given my state of delusion over seeing such a vivid story in my mind. The act of depredation of a sentient kind generous human being as the depicted prince in the story instilled so much remorse within me that never had I cried so loud before, or let alone in my adult life at all (this just a silly dream, but when one connects with the character of a story things get emotional). The despoliation of a kind man (or woman) in utter defilement to decency was shocking to me and eventually an old man, the neighbour below me (at late hours) shouts out, "Oh, shut up!", and then, as if by divine miracle my tears simply vanished altogether and I was happy again immediately without thought, as if God answered my prayers and lamentations that lasted quite a while. I realised in an instant that it was just a self-inflicted delusion from a manifestation of a bad dream (aka. vivid nightmare) but in all due respect I cannot possibly begin to express in words alone the visual imagery I had seen because in the very end even the prince's face turned into my face! And there were little details such as the blonde concubine was painted IF MEN CRY YOU KNOW ITS SEVERE blue, and many other intricacies.

IX. My Tears, my Joy, my Pain, and my Remorse The last time I cried as a teenager I was only seventeen.

I cried at the sight of mum's decadence in due routine.

She lost track as she stopped cooking and even clean.

We knew not what was wrong with mum in her sheen!

It was during my final exam period, o' tragedy befell us!

My brother affected academically the most since magus!

He aimed for Oxford but mum lost it and he was eldest.

My sister and brother went to school that one day then, And so it was that I wagged school to just look after mum— And that is when her severe folate deficiency hit a chasm!

She went insane and it bears me no justice to explain here…

I was only young, I witnessed the police that I called take her.

I was in tears, lost in thought, as I witnessed mum in the nude.

The cops took her away but I gave them a towel and clothes.

I had no option, I had to call them as she became possessed!

XI. Mimesis of Frog Haiku Matsuo Bashô: Frog Haiku5 The original Japanese: Furu ike ya kawazu tobikomu mizu no oto

Simplest Translation: Old pond — frogs jumped in — sound of water.

(Translated by Lafcadio Hearn) Ref.3

The above is the most famous poem in Japan, and despite of three hundred years of repetition, interpretation, and translation into foreign languages I then would gather that it has become altogether too stale for Japanese people of today. There is a setting for a time and place and given the injunction of a frog we can even predict that it is set at twilight during the Spring season. The term 'old' evokes a feeling of the 'ancients', of divine lore of philosophers of old and hence accrues in us a sense of historicity as a humanity collective.

Robert Aitken quotes, "Ya is a cutting word that separates and yet joins the expressions before and after. It is punctuation that marks a transition — a particle of anticipation."

Furthermore, there is great additional symbology in the above poem… A 'pond' can be seen as being able to encapsulate the moment of one's mind as serene, endless in dimensions, potent and hence able to evoke a state of timelessness if one is to visualize the aesthetic beauty of it all on a surrounding area covered by moss, lily pads, and all associative aspects with stale decadent obscure detached and hence isolated water as from the pond. Beside, perhaps, lay some rocks from which the frog jumped from – personally I imagine Amethyst intact boulders as the initial resting point of the frog in question for it adds elegance and relates to some beautiful Japan-like setting but as I experienced in Brazil given a different set of cultural ideals with Amethyst boulders beside running waterfalls. In specific Hsiang-yen Chih-hsien (a T'ang dynasty Ch'an master – died in 898 AD), who studied Buddhism and embraced the Zen tradition, was well known at the time of the writing of the above poem and it is duly noted that when he heard the sound of a tile striking the ground he attained enlightenment. And hence, just like the frog in the poem, a 'sound of water' occurs; this can be interpreted as simply as 'plop!', 'splash', or a deep resonance of such nature that leads one to a greater sense of awareness of the beauty of nature in itself.

The above haiku, by Bashô, was catalogued to have taken place when Bashô’s Zen master, Boncho, was chit-chatting with him at his home (the sound cryptography was an ongoing idea for him before then). In legends, the master had asked Bashô a koan-like question (meaning a riddle with no answer) and Bashô, immediately replied with "a frog jumps into, the sound of water." This could have happened as Bashô was residing, at that time, in a cottage-hut his students had built for him on the marshy ground where another river joined the Sumida, at the edge of what is now Tokyo, an area abundant with frogs…

Haiku (俳句), haikai verse) (plural: haiku) is a very short form of Japanese poetry. It is typically characterised by three qualities: 1) The essence of haiku is "cutting" (kiru). This is often represented by the juxtaposition of two images or ideas and a kireji ("cutting word") between them, a kind of verbal punctuation mark which signals the moment of separation and colours the manner in which the juxtaposed elements are related.

2) Traditional haiku consist of 17 on (also known as morae), in three phrases of 5, 7 and 5 on respectively.

3) A kigo (seasonal reference), usually drawn from a saijiki, an extensive but defined list of such words.

Quoting Hsiang-yen, as referenced on Robert Aitken's treatise of the poem, it was said that after that enlightenment experience through 'sound' Hsiang-yen Chih-hsien wrote: "One stroke has made me forget all my previous knowledge.

No artificial discipline is at all needed; In every movement I uphold the ancient way And never fall into the rut of mere quietism; Wherever I walk no traces are left, And my senses are not fettered by rules of conduct; Everywhere those who have attained to the truth All declare this to be of highest order."

The Buddha changed with noticing the morning star — "Now when I view all beings everywhere", he said, "I see that each of them possesses the wisdom and virtue of the Buddha. …" This process can be categorized as an 'epiphany', an experience of sudden and striking insight, however romanticized through nature as was the case for Buddha and Bashô, or further yet it can be related to Theophany6 where the earliest descriptions of such occurrences occur in classical traditions and in specific throughout Greek mythology! In particular in the epic Iliad (epic poem) often referred as the Song of Ilion/Ilium written in dactylic hexameter (a verse having six metrical feet) – always tending to pair up in form in such a manner that leads to a sequel (in terms of prophecies and etcetera), just like our little frog jumping into the water one is left in amazing awe as to what the frog got up to next.

Theophany is also prevalent in MOST religions inclusive of Christianity, Hinduism, Judaism, and even Islam I am led to believe (and to rational atheists through the manifestation of a human pure altruist such as Jesus of Nazareth ). Most often 'epiphanies', the terminology, is correlated with depictions of reports of scientific breakthroughs, philosophical or religious discoveries, or any problem or situation which describes a situation for a deeper understanding through a process of enlightening realization – epiphanies are studied by psychologists and aspiring transformational leaders.

The understanding of Bashô's frog can come in many different forms, and is most commonly delved-in/created by a complex combination of experience, memory, knowledge, predisposition and context as per pertinent to the individual reader and his/her life's experiences. A contemporary example of an epiphany in education might involve the process by which a student arrives at some form of new insight or clarifying thought – this could be through sheer ingenuity in itself, a high intelligence quotient, or mayhap extremely well founded problem solving skills (or as the case for 'gamers', the objectivity such indoctrination inflicts onto a computer gaming addict). After this 'mimesis' I shall highlight a story titled, 'Inspector Lex', as requested by my good friend David Robert as a topic idea he wanted me to write – it will go well with the notion of inherent epiphanies.

Now, there is a great problem in translating poetry from different languages (I just hope that Japan will one day appreciate my poetry written in early modern English some day), and in relations to Bashô's frog, in the West fairy tales depict frogs as transforming in magnificent dashing princes at the touch of one's kiss, whereas Native Americans linked the frog to rain I 6

am led to believe (I could be wrong). In Hindu mythology (which I believe has influenced Asian mythology to a great extent) a frog is associative with aspects of evil which goes well in hand with the movie, 'The Cabin in the Woods' (a 2012 American horror comedy film directed by Drew Goddard) – a short segment of it denotes some school girls performing Shigin around a malevolent Kami spirit (one can only presume – if I remember correctly) in order to return this soulless entity, spirit, back to the manifestation of what one could assume was the frog they were holding (they gave the Kami a soul) – to Japanese frogs are dear little creatures and the 'plop!' sound of water is onomatopoeically intriguing as to the appreciation of the inherent senses. However, in Chinese culture (which has influenced Japan to a significant extent) a frog can signify anything from ignorance and immortality to prosperity. In taking a simple interpretation of Bashô's frog we (and many scholars have succumbed to this fallacy I believe) are only taking in one understanding of the meaning for the frog and in this process ignoring a host of other interpretations – this makes composing a mimesis of the 'Frog Haiku' quite a challenging task which I will attempt shortly. Ahem, it is no surprise that in Chinese culture the frog serves as a figure of 'proverbial' wisdom; a symbol of provincialism and hence a notion that one is ignorant unless he/she takes into account the OVERALL scope of view of all knowledge made available…

Ahem, sorry, the reason I brought the latter up was because when returning home from a friend's movie debut premiere at night, with a cab, the Sikh driver/cabbie got actively talking with me and disclosed these wise words to me, "There is nothing wrong with religion, the problem is religious people." Quite confusing when you get your head around it, but what I am suggesting is that mayhap (however small a chance) Bashô illustrated his frog with the proverbial phrase in mind of that; one is as blind to the world as a 'frog down the well'.

Which to me is already an epiphany to all religious fundamentalists and jihadists out there that live existences so secluded from the wealth of knowledge in the world which undoubtedly only points out to one thing, and that is a harmonious peaceful existence in this world without cause for strife, terrorism, and open tolerance to individuality as established by Sikh ideals which are heavily influenced by secular morality too. Ref.5 From my speculation on the interpretation of the symbology of a frog that can be accounted for all cultures is the fact that the frog itself is representative of a general theme of 'transformation' (except the French, they eat the stuff), and even in biblical context the frog is representative of unclean spirits (Revelation 16:13) and in Exodus 8:6 this process of transformation is said to take place as the second plague that is sent onto Egypt is one of frogs (God puts this in irony at the time; as a good tale as Egyptians revered the frog as a symbol of life) – remember, when I refer to God/Allah/G-d or a higher such entity in any of my writings I take a perspective of being a turtle 'outside the well' disclosing the story to the frog isolated and ignorant within the well. Well, I am not going to highlight every culture's conception of frogs in this treatise, but I would like to make one final stressful remark that 'transformation' seems to be the key crucible to deciphering Bashô's idealized frog.

Poetry & writing is so hard to compile in this modern age especially when an incumbent is obsessed since an infant on the notion of distributing credits of mention such as caption title ideas from good friends as any self derived header title makes me feel egocentrically minded and hence miserable. Would you chose for equality for all in normalizing specialties to others, as normal?

XII. Inspector Lex Ok, my mate David Robert took about 3 hours to come across random topic ideas for me to write and expand about as I saw fit.

I declined some suggestions since the titles didn't sound cool or good enough. It took him 3 hours whilst we ate, drank, smoked (or vaped in my case) and conversed about stuff as he eventually resorted to Cannabis to boost his creativity as I wouldn't touch that stuff anymore.

This first title, 'Inspector Lex', is probably what you don't quite expect David buddy – but that is what you like about my writing, the unpredictable nature of it all. Here I am going to relate a tale from back in my days at The University of Western Australia where classmates and I partook in a most futile course of Offshore Geomechanics (many assignments, and this is just one small portion), and in particular contrast I would like to highlight that there were only two competent individuals in this entire class, myself and Darren Hassan7. We could team up in this class for the projects (which I found a horrid notion but given the nature of the subject essential) and I logically paired up with the other brightest student who in turn worked alongside two other individuals in addition to me (I only worked Can you imagine! So many complex units studied during my alone but let Darren look at life and no chance to implement my knowledge. That is why I desire a comfortable scholarship some day to remy many excel spreadsheets study specific Chemical Engineering units, some Physics, and and sometimes we would Etiquette for my own personal ambitions. Anyway, the problem with this course was that the lecturer, Dr Susan Gourvenec, provided us with no textbook to learn from and instead only rudimentary lecture slides which did not explain the physics in regards to calculations of 'force moments', the Applicable Mathematics basics as required for shear stress and fatigue degradation, and much background information needed – she had a duty to at least recommend books for us that we could learn from, and in specific certain chapters.

There were four LARGE seemingly complex excel spreadsheet assignments to complete for this unit, and given no surprise, since Darren had lightest brown hair like the lecturer, he was the teacher's pet and hence favourite.

On latter assignments the questions were almost altogether indecipherable to understand or to let alone complete the mathematics necessary to get the equations that would give the 7

Darren and I did not collude much because in the computer labs we simply took the initiative to accost the lecturer with questions non-stop – I am not saying we were smarter than the Indians, but we knew what questions to ask and how to approach her about it instead of watching a computer screen for ages and just copying from others that pretty much did the same all puzzled.

The course itself was highly competitive, this for a Masters in Oil and Gas, and Darren Hassan was one of the few individuals that I explained about the nature of my ~6 identical grades given collusion of the lecturers to lower my academic standing – but I did it in a manner that was boastful and that ultimately, despite the initial awe, made me look stupid. It is a good reminder to be humble, anyone could have performed like I did if they had put as many hours devoted to study as I had – we all are only human.

The difference was that I was extremely objectively minded given my absolute intellectual development had been WASTED in my youth (mainly playing computer games, not reading, just being a kid) the gamers' mentality was still rigidly set within my mind frame; that is, I approached each and every engineering/mathematical problem as if it was a computer game whose goal of mine was to get to the end boss but in a manner so as to present the final result as sheer ART itself!

It is the way I kept myself motivated in this course but my mentality has changed since 2008 as I attended three additional universities that required different modes of thinking (I am growing up further every day).

Anyway, as the title suggests, in my university tenures I must admit I had one talent, and that was combining skills from different fields and lessons in life so as to amalgamate them into an altogether new theory/approach to handling problems.

If every person has a skill then that is my skill; I see myself good at improvisation when necessity mandates it to be so. As it went, I felt sorry for my Indian comrades as I had been studying alongside most of them since 2006/07 and I had developed a high degree of empathy and sympathy towards a few incumbents to the point I would associate them psychologically as being pretty much like my own brother. I would never give out full answers to problems as I never desired to belong in their collusion circle even if it cost me valuable grade points in my academic score simply because in Curtin University of Technology I cheated just like them and from now on this was going to be a new phase in my life in which I would never cheat through collusion.

I had become, David buddy, 'Inspector Lex' for I would go through severe lengths in detail when it involved the usage of Excel spreadsheets for assignments in all my classes (the written reports I didn't perform as well as I could nowadays – this as Engineers are not meant to be ideal writers, thank God I studied more!).

As it went, I constantly moved between computer labs (different sections whilst in the same class) to pass USB copies of my assignments as we did them to the my troubled Indian comrades, however, they were draft copies which included a few mistakes in the equations in the spreadsheets – but surely they were smart, they could review it and correct it themselves…

This way I was not colluding (I would gain nothing from them) and they still did work based on the information that Darren and I were able to siphon off the lecturer for completion of problems – not a single soul could have completed every assignment had not Dr Susan explained to incumbents on an individual basis as to how to tackle the problem.

But the most crucial bit of ALL the assignments (combined together) I managed to complete by my own self simply utilizing my creativity in organization and then seeing a pattern and resorting to integrals on an empirical basis that combined theoretical aspects to a great extent.

Darren Hassan could not do that problem and when peering over at my computer screen I received the biggest compliment I had ever received from a student in the course (ok, second biggest, there was another time with an Indian by the name of Bilal), that is he LOVED the way I approached the question for analysis and inspection. The spreadsheet for this particular assignment was over eighteen pages long, so let me copy and paste the crucial bit (which may seem utterly basic to professionals – you just had to be there):

By all accounts, I observe everything carefully, sometimes too carefully that often I will see only the best in people provided no matter how marginal their benefit might be in contrast to the negatives. There is an inspector in each one of us out there, we just specialize in different characteristic traits on an individualized level because no human alone can atone from all ignorance.

hat a challenge; David wants me to spontaneously vent my heart out on a 'characteristic of the present', as mayhap news as belonging to the present time or perhaps he means me to type something in regards to a parallel event happening in the same period of spacetime itself as manifested in a parallel duality in mimicry to local events but in a different location/region within the whole vast globe!?

Maybe I could take the title header as a noun and relate myself to someone nearly the same age as me – problem is most my friends of similar age are uneducated and I have long lost contact with my intellectual friends of old (still sort of affiliated through my brother and few linkages but they are so One's vision of contemporary could be another's devolved in so many other view of a distorted hypnotic abominate illusion ways).

How can I possibly even begin to compare and hence prepare a contemporary treatise when the only notion I am immediately aware is world politics as propagated by the news channel that I avidly watch?

I hate discussing politics because whenever one reckons he has it all sorted out the financial market booms or collapses affecting whole nations – or mayhap a silly juvenile will hold a flag and partake in a murderous rampage only to completely distort the sense of good values and ethics such flag might have held in its historicity if the bad elements were simply forgotten.

Contemporary, pfft!

curse off me that inhibited me from ever waking up early whilst facing up, with a pillow behind my back, and now for the second day in a row I did just that and here I am at 7:30am in the morning – alive! I guess witchcraft is by all means still very contemporary, and it manifests into the lives of only certain rare chosen ones as real – if not then at

least psychologically so (I would never practice witchcraft personally whether it be a contemporary fad or not)‌ Well, I did not gather much insight into contemporary matters after our 4 hour long ordeal yesterday consuming drinks, eating pizza, and talking whilst entertaining ourselves.

But one film director, Daniel Tenni, showed me some freestyle rap he did (a 23 minute song) alongside my mate Alex Finger and it was pretty darn good and definitely contemporary. His movie, 'Greenfields', which was premiered a couple of weeks ago locally, was also very contemporary with an authentic Australian character to it, which makes me dwell further on the notion that the topic to discuss here is contemporary art!

In differentiating contemporary art from modern art we can certainly expect an overlap between the transitioning times of Generation X & Y. Modern art from Impressionists began at around 1880 and lasted until 1960/70's, whereas contemporary art is speculated to have begun in from that same period lasting up to this very minute as to date.

Contemporary art may also refer, more generally, to work that has begun within the last six months or a year, but in contradiction to this notion I would have to agree with the curators and critics of such a Example of 'modern art', by: Jean Metzinger 1907 notion that it would indeed - Paysage colorĂŠ aux oiseaux aquatique stretch to a much longer period ranging up to just over ten years in accordance to breakthroughs in lifestyle paving forth different eras of contemporary development.

Being born in Brazil8 I should highlight that contemporary art in Brazil evolved from modernism (a main influence on historical architecture in the capital of Brasilia) and absorbed later tendencies, centring mainly in the early 21st century on city life and all its aspects and exhibiting a huge variety of styles in sync with the growing internationalist dispositions. strong influence under Benito Mussolini's reign of Italy prior and during WWII, and as encompassed by fascist architecture through the likes of Hitler – which at one point, in philosophy forums, I attributed an analysis of his art pieces (oh yes, Hitler was a skilful painter) so as to further identify the anti-thesis of God (aka. Devil himself – not Lucifer) ought I ever come across such a foe in an afterlife to be (such analyses differentiable through passage of time).

Critics argue that postmodernism paved forth ideas of obscurantism, which in effects is attributive of insanity and madness in its raw core (explained later).

Various contemporary artists reject altogether the concept of conventional art by instead pursuing 'artistic pluralism' which amalgamate ideas from various different art genres – this is what makes the evolution of contemporary art to a higher stage altogether more difficult as there is a vast myriad of hybrid works that have accrued through time.

The 'J. Ref.7 It is interesting to note that the term avant-garde was introduced in the mid 1800s to describe artists who were exploring new ideas and forms, and nowadays it is momentously biased towards, and hence associated, with modern art movements of the late 19th and early 20th centuries such as futurism, cubism and surrealism. This idea of artistic originality, invention and innovation, with its roots in the avant-garde, remains an important one in contemporary art.

The 'Art Gallery of NSW' highlights further that what has shaped contemporary art (and shall continue to do so with society's progress) since the 20th century is quite simply; "… the way artists began to respond to new technologies. Korean artist Nam June Paik (19322006), for example, helped redefine television and video as an art medium.

Other important markers include the beginnings of installation art and conceptual art, the use of new materials, the impact of indigenous art, and the rethinking of the found object in art or what was coined a readymade by the influential French artist Marcel Duchamp (1887–1968)." Ref.8 Due to advents in technology, globalization and a sense of unity through the world wide web, and innovations as developed through the media networks and/or additional communicative means, contemporary artists of today have a magnificent prowess over their individualised sense of art style and right

now there are more contemporary artists making such-affiliated art than any other genre out there. 'About.com', website, indirectly highlights that whilst it may be difficult to categorize emerging new movements, it is contemporary art — which collectively — is a lot more socially conscious than any of the previous eras of art had ever been before. Over these last 30 years a lot of art has been dedicated to causes which paves forth a notion that contemporary art will always be situational, to say the least, and is attributable to change further as new fads are adopted and implemented in local or global culture.

Anarchism, feminism, multiculturalism, globalization, bio-engineering and AIDS awareness all come readily to mind as subject matter of 'themed' contemporary art.

Since the graffiti artistry practice is still somewhat shunned by society at large (primarily due to those prone to vandalism) it is common practice for skilled artists of this contemporary genre to nowadays utilize their 'canvas' by targeting haunted places and locales as ascertained by abandoned homes and buildings – in Australia, at times, such artists even get granted legal rights to perform their artwork in strategic areas so as to liven up the cities in which we live in.

I don't know about you, but whenever the term graffiti artist comes to mind I always think of New York – however, I am also aware that New York is no longer in the 70/80's of the punk generation as is evident through the media and stories from our own parents who may have lived through those horrible periods in which it, in itself, was horrible to walk alone at night time in the New York public transportation system – and all the graffiti associated in subways (I imagine). Ahem, Wikipedia states: "The punk subculture emerged in the United Kingdom, Australia, and the United States in the mid-1970s.

Exactly which region originated punk has long been a major controversy within the movement.

Early punk had an abundance of antecedents and influences, and Jon Savage describes the subculture as a 'bricolage' of almost every previous youth culture in the Western world since World War II, "stuck together with safety pins".

Various musical, philosophical, political, literary and artistic movements influenced the subculture."

Punk art, to me, is closely (but not completely quite) affiliated with the art of graffiti to a comparable extent, as it, by itself, is concerned with social injustice & economic inequality as propagated through political movements some punk intellectuals get involved in (seemingly on a double life).

Contemporary punk art often utilizes collage, cartoons, and images that convey shock and suffering to instil feelings of empathy onto the onlooker – furthermore, punk artists may contain visual imagery that focus on aspects of apathy, selfishness, stupidity, or 'horror-like' punk beauty so as to provoke contempt to the standard viewer.

Now that I have covered that aspect I would like to come back to the concept of graffiti art as being a contemporary ideal which shall never be admonished primarily due to the fact that it is an inherent trait among us, humans, through evolutionary processes, to crave for a certain degree of hooliganism (however, the latter 'can' be ETHICAL!) as is mankind's inherent sinful nature, however marginal for some – this ultimately attributed by God's indirect involvement throughout the course of humanity's evolution whilst being contemporary

and hence with the times as evident through the progress & evolution of religion given time. If Charlatans like Richard Dawkins is in any way right about his pre-supposition of the selfish gene (and Ayn Rand's stance against altruism) then the Catholic notion of original sin can be said to mayhap also exist (also called 'ancestral sin'). This perhaps not in all individuals, genetically speaking, thus we need religion for non-pure altruists or the devoid of morality for guidance to salvation as per contemporary mandates of the collective human civilization. To me this notion of inherent sin, as proposed

by Richard Dawkins, if we are to indirectly relate it to the 'selfish gene' theory (in irony), is all a load of b#ll#cks as I attribute MAN to be inherently 'good' as studies on babies, infants, and monkeys have shown that we are inherently in a state, as granted by birth, that instils oneself a natural disposition to possess the capability to ultimately 'reason' with oneself as to the very philosophies the various 'ancients'9 have stumbled in, through philosophizing; by aspects of virtue, morality, ethics, and most notably heart (aka. altruistic love) – this as supported by more modern philosophers also. I somewhat feel sorry for Richard Dawkins, and given my contemporary10 Presbyterian faith I will try to ensure that some higher life form (aka.

Angels/Kami, God/Allah, G-d…) also warrants for Dawkins' survival past this first life towards the afterlife – every human being is important with contemporary ethics but this importance is escalated further with truthful, and earnest Qur'anic & Biblical considerations for a certain degree of pure altruism as encompassed by the teachings of ʿĪsā ibn Maryām11 (Arabic: ‫ع ي سى‬ ‫ب ن‬ ‫)مري م‬, the idealized prophet and Martyr (by obligation ALL Muslims12 SHOULD read and know the New Testament also), as encompassed by the adjoining contemporary digital graffiti picture to the right.

raffiti itself is not a dirty word and in history itself there has been a range from simple scribbled words to majestic wall paintings – it essentially is any drawing or writing that has been etched, scratched, scribbled or painted13 on any surface but most commonly in public places on objects. The very evolution of the hominid Graffiti in Ancient Egyptian School species may have taken place Unearthed with Educative References to thorough an expansion of the a Drug Used by Helen of Troy – Ref.10 capability of the mind through using graffiti as a transhumanist expansion of the self for the archiving of lore and the establishment of culture and the then contemporary traditions. Graffiti has knowingly existed in the homo sapiens species in the glorified past of the ancients as encompassed by the Roman Empire, Ancient Greece, and Ancient Egypt not to mention mayhap the Incas/Aztecs and other noble civilizations.

But on the topic of 'Insanity & Madness' it should be noted that many of history's artistic geniuses were indeed mentally ill (ie: Vincent van Gogh, Lord Byron, Frida Kahlo, Virginia Woolf, Herman Melville, Edgar Allan Poe and etcetera) – in fact, Natalie Wolchover in her article highlights that individuals who excel when they are 16 years old are four more times more likely to develop bipolar disorder which seems to be also a strong indication for inherent creativity, and to that very effect it does not quite seem coincidental that 16 year old youths are very likely to resort to graffiti as a recreational hobby (be it on their school desk, notepads, toilets, walls) during those teen years of self-discovery (or at the very least be tempted to partake in such acts) and it has coincided with the rise of incumbents suffering from mental illnesses, this in Australia anyway during the Gen-X/Y years where graffiti was prevalently rampart (and to an extent still is!). What I am trying to suggest is that in embracing graffiti as a contemporary normal fact of life, and to this effect treat it as indifferent from painting a wall a certain colour, we are in effect overloading our minds with bizarre thoughts and ideas as manifested through the seemingly erratic artworks of the graffiti artist him/herself. Simply observing someone's artistic handiwork we are in a sense able to infiltrate the mind of the person and deceive ourselves of the very gumption we may hold as to established protocols of comportment and/or the very outlook of life itself14.

electronically through the usage of digital cameras or quality mobile phones – there is less of a necessity to permanently deface a wall for times to come but although such desires are still prevalent as a local graffiti artist I contacted informed me, his name is James Webster – a reputed local DJ and graffiti artist nearby where I live.

Sure, these works (shown below) do need some talent, but the general trend is ‘graffiti’ portrayed in an artistic genre. It sure livens up the city to a great extent and I am led to believe the local council gives permission for these works. Permission is also attained from nearby tenants to the graffiti 'art' project(s).

Imagine if third world slums had a makeover in such a manner – would it foster creativity locally is my question?

Of course, realistically graffiti does not necessarily invoke madness or let alone insanity, but it may place a developing brain (in this case that of a child) in a state of over activity if say he/she was completely surrounded by such explicit artistry depicting all natures of subjects.

Favelas), that is occupying prime real estate property on lavished hillsides, green!

This so the ugliness of it all would be masked, so that the people could get a sense of

conformity and the impoverished feel more like a middle accepted class, and to hence beautify the nation in its entirety for the growth and development of tourism – and psychologically speaking I do think this idea has good merits because it may even lower crime as the 'favelados' would resort to less crime because no longer would their crude makeshift adobes be so disparagingly different from the luxurious edifices belonging to the upper class15 and in a sense individuals would be less scared of walking the decadent streets within Favelas as everything would have a sense of order as categorised by the colour green which would have the primal benefit of blending in with the foliage of trees, plants, and the various extremely diverse flora. Regardless, there are a myriad of reasons as to why this zany idea may have some good merit, but now consider situations reversed and that instead we contemporize a whole shanty town with graffiti!?

Hmmm, there does appear to be some very serious complications in embracing graffiti art as contemporary notions of day to day standard living.

As was the case with Colombia as people started partaking in graffiti of bank notes with jokes and political statements, which by the way is severely unethical. So what makes it work for Denmark? Well, it doesn't, that is just one isolated neighbourhood and a sectioned off area for graffiti within a community (to a limited extent) is actually a good thing. But would you want children growing up in such environments and be ignorant as to the aesthetic ideals of contemporary times as partially affirmed through intellectuals in history?

Sure, a graffiti filled neighbourhood could be benignant in every sense but this given a parent can guide the child to appreciate the positive aspects of such art and in this process make a real man, or lady, out of the child one day.

desire my child to either partake in boxing or basketball as a recreational sport to at least (despite making him/her more aggressive – which could be good) keep them away from the drug dealers from some other shanty graffiti camouflaged corner, or mayhap the decadent prostitutes with no sense of what is right from wrong.

And we all know of the great crime rates of a bygone era in New York's graffiti laden subways that one only hears through urban myths and legends that may or may not be altogether true as it has been rather erased from the past.

Contemporary acceptance of graffiti en mass could lead to insanity for has anyone ever thought that it may not be the case that bipolar/schizophrenics are inherently creative but that individuals that engage in artistry of sorts stimulate their own minds to the point of madness, perhaps???

In Plato’s 'Phaedrus', the Greek philosopher posited that artists were bestowed with a divine madness, and Aristotle (my favourite philosopher) was the first to connect creativity with depression.

Harvard psychology professor Shelley Carson said that the theory she finds most suitable to explain this connection is that psychopathology and creativity share certain genetic components, and one or the other is expressed based on other genetic factors (as quoted on Ref.10).

In Cason's study I understood that those individuals that are more prone to psychosis have less of an ability to repress irrelevant information absorbed through their senses (primarily visual and hearing as pertinent to affect on one's racy thoughts).

This latent inhibition (LI) is a cognitive mechanism by which individuals are able to filter out irrelevant stimulants – such as that of poor children who grow up in impoverished conditions become somewhat numbed to the reality before them and hence may in fact develop higher potentials for intellectual growth provided they are not deprived of adequate sources of knowledge and most importantly (for their sanctity and wellbeing) are blessed with a good sense of virtue and most importantly ethical morality. Ahem, quoting Makda Asrat16 on the 'Yale Daily News' @ 2006, on professor Shelley Carson: "Highly creative people tend to almost exclusively have low latent inhibition, and furthermore the combination of a very high IQ and a low LI is a highly significant predictor of creative achievement," Carson said.

"Reduced latent inhibition allows the individual to access a large amount of sensory and internally-generated stimuli, but their high IQ would allow the person to process this additional information without being overwhelmed."

Professor John Baer also worked alongside Carson and was quoted as: “We know that for successful writers to be creative, they need to defy the crowd and ignore extrinsic constraints,” Baer said. “Once you become famous, though, it’s harder to do this. Successful artists bring a lot of stress upon themselves to be creative.

Therefore, this increasing level of stress may be why they have greater incidents of mental illness.”

Professor John Baer has highlighted that there is a much more pronounced correlation amongst women for the exhibition of mental illnesses/weaknesses if they happen to overly creative.

And furthermore an artist's measure of success could be attributive of signs of psychopathology (I could name various names from celebrities and friends in regards to this but I have to be a gentleman and be courteous).

Cathy Malchiodi (PhD, LPCC, LPAT – in Arts and Health) made a plea in 2009 to stop the contemporary notion of pathologydriven analysis of the art of artists who happen to have mental illness. Instead she urged us to celebrate artists who have struggled, for whatever reason including physical health, addictions, mental illness, socioeconomics, culture, or gender by instead reflecting on the power of the art they have created and meaning of creativity in their lives.

With the recent contemporary recognition of LGBT marriage rights in the United States of America, and some day to be to be most of the World (except possibly 'some' Muslim countries or the Catholic church I would hope for – Utilitarian reasons), we have to be accepting that indeed the art of graffiti may indeed turn into a common contemporary artistic form that may surpass in appreciative value to the very skill needed in more complex art forms such as 'realism' and what not (a dreadful notion).

I believe that graffiti, especially in trains and public facilities, pertain to individuals who suffer from a subconscious notion of contemporary insanity or mayhap even contemporary madness; which is worse though?

Madness or insanity? It is a pretty hard decision as in the former one is sane but only within the confines within his or her own head, whereas madness can require no logic in one's train of thought and thus deranges the individual totally! Contemporary madness seems to be the most preferred of the two since its effects may be purely through a deranged notion of accentuated emotions – kind of hard really interpreting the English language if one has not felt the many varied emotive words in the dictionary before – I am lucky that I have felt my fair share of experiences and I learnt that what I want least is contemporary insanity/madness.

I consider anxiety being a form of madness though.

So far you may have heard about the negatives of graffiti art, but the benefits of it is that it counters obscurantism which is categorised by: a) deliberately restricting knowledge, or b) deliberate vagueness (restricting emotions and feelings).

What has to be remembered (to all denizens of the world) is the impact the age of enlightenment (era from 1620s-1780s AD) ultimately had on all corners of the globe. I am not arguing on a stance of Western superiority, I tried my best to search Oriental, African, South American, and Asian contexts that may be relevant to contemporary thought, but unfortunately it does seem that the Western world paved the way ahead in intellectualism due to the founding fathers' advanced cultures as attributed to the Greeks (but look where they are now at the time of this writing – up sh%tcr##k!) and most notably the glorious Roman Empire which in turn became decadent by its own accord.

I do foresee China as leading the world after I am gone from this Earth due to their EXCELLENT fiscal policies but most notably the one child policy (maybe they should raise it to two someday and keep at that) which in turn will accrue inherited wealth amongst families to a greater extent than the western countries who probably average at 2.8 children a household (Africa and India SERIOUSLY need to learn from China and the rest of the world in terms of procreation).

Anyway, during this 'Age of Reason' intellectual, political and cultural forces in Western Europe stressed the concept of analysis, individualism (this latter can be improved on) and sheer reason itself, rather than traditional lines of authority. Philosophers burst forth again in this renaissance and various club houses of sorts were established so as to bolster forward recreational hobbies/careers for the very pursuit of ultimate knowledge itself by also learning from history (not just Western history).

The accepting of different religions was justified, but not by psychological science as I attribute in philosophy forums through reason, but by individualism I would gather (known as 'enlightened absolutism'). After the French Revolution (ended at 1799 AD) the 'enlightenment' was followed by Romanticism (more on that MUCH later). But back in tracks, obscurantism was deemed the fundamental enemy of the 'then' contemporary established principles of liberal diffusion of knowledge which in turn brought a threat to monarchies, class distinctions, caste divisions, and the very acceptance of enslavement (the latter eventually taking place on a world wide scale due, to what I would think would be, the steps appropriated through the Age of Reason.

Postmodernistic art was later to be found to be supportive of obscurantism, but this I believe on a dual faceted manner that

both acted for the forces of the weak (through micro-cultural colloquialism through art but not speech) and the forces of the elite (due to higher level of education in interpreting visual works past regional frontiers).

Being part of the elite and hence being knowledgeable of obscure 'esoteric' (true teachings – inaccessible to the 'ordinary' intellect) to me sounds like a pivotal cascading domino of an effect that could have driven many artistic philosophers to the brink of madness and mayhap even insanity as they would be operating as propagandists on a level of which required of them to be intellectuals themselves in order to appease the insatiable appetite of the bourgeois and principally the elite above them in order to make a living to develop artistic works that were suited to the foreboding greed as encompassed by them.

Even poor Aristotle could be classified as a villain to the lower castes and the left wing political party because his philosophic language, technical jargon, and writing style only served their purpose through educating a governing elite. illiam of Ockham (1287–1347 AD), was an English Franciscan friar, scholastic philosopher, and theologian that proposed a concept that was already established in ancient antiquity as being a tool to avoid the emotional turmoil (as conveyed through arts of sorts) associated with obscurantism and the risks imposed through it of reaching states of virtual insanity or madness.

But sometimes philosophers, engineers, and scientists prefer causal explanations over simple explanations for the sole reason of attaining a broader underlying understanding of the subject at large hence paving further exploration growth.

This idea was deeply founded in the aesthetic value simplicity itself has for betterment/easiness of human thought and was thought justifiable through the then bygone era in which humanity could not quite conceive how art, religion, philosophy, and science had to be in effect all married to each other in order to understand higher order questions about life and God/Allah himself.

Thomas Aquinas made this argument in the 13th century, writing, "If a thing can be done adequately by means of one, it is superfluous to do it by means of several; for we observe that nature does not employ two instruments [if] one suffices."

Science itself is always a contemporary notion for discussion, and Occam's razor was used as a heuristic guide (some sort of tool/procedure) in developing theoretical model in close relations with philosophy which in turn was/is linked to art and the latter mayhap to religion itself!

However, when we refer to the term 'contemporary philosophy' we are actually associating it with a period of Western philosophy that only just started at the end of the 19th century. Hence, the usage

of the word 'contemporary' cannot be taken at face value when categorizing it as a broad fundamental topic of discussion that is all encompassing of every attribute a human being may potentially face. Already Occam's razor can be attributed in marginally different ways to science+philosophy, biology, medicine, religion and penal ethics – imagine contemporalism itself! It is not even quite an English word on my electronic dictionary!

I will stop very soon on the topic in this perspective because philosophy (aka. A belief, or system of beliefs, accepted as authoritative/true – hear that Bernie, philosophy is knowledge! ) itself can be VAGUELY split into divisions of 20th century philosophy and what preceded it, ie: Analytic philosophy (split into 6 categories), Continental philosophy (split into 8 categories) and ultimately Western philosophy too, which in turn appropriates from other philosophies (including Eastern) and improves on them by tweaking.

In cutting this chapter short I shall be more concise by highlighting once again the definition of 'contemporary' with personal commentaries, this using Collins English Dictionary: adjective  belonging to the same age; living or occurring in the same period of time

Anyway, grandpa Henry is the only grandpa I have left as both my other grandpa's were murdered – one is alleged to have died from tuberculosis but the deeper you dig into the nature of his death the more you open Pandora's box… I am not ever sure if Henry Heinrich's will still welcome me into the family ought I sire children someday (he is getting old) – I doubt I will amass enough financial security in time in order to raise children responsibly (for those of you that just breed like rats with no consideration for a child's costly maintenance)…

XV. Pigs Fly h' boy, I just realised some of David's topics are rather personal in my psyche and strict code of ethics – this having graduated in University Post-Graduate level Ethics where I was presented with the honour of choosing my own grade as I saw fit.

In regard to the title above it is important to highlight that people have used colourful phrases for millennia in order to get exceptional messages across – we refer to these as 'figure of speech' in order to convey a positive gist without sounding so hindered or negative instead of saying 'no'. The most modern source of origin to the dictum of pigs flying appears in Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.

Stuff the wings, let's be realistic in However, scholars believe Carroll may have picked up this treatise and give them pigs a the phrase from the Scottish, who allegedly had been jetpack in full blown disclosure! using the phrase for a couple hundred years (I later highlight as to even further origins to the relation in symbology to pigs). Ahem, on the topic, for David's sake (he requested me to write on this) it is duly noted that John Withals’ 1616 English-Latin dictionary lists the proverb 'pigs fly with their tails forward.'

That similar phrase was supposedly used back then as an ingenious response to people who made overly-optimistic statements. This can be combined with inter-cultural relations between countries as some nations used sayings 'when cows fly', whereas France and Spain have used phrases like 'when frogs grow hair' or 'when hens grow teeth.' But this all referring to saying of 'when pigs fly' (later covered below) and not simply a bold statement like as that suggested by David (ie: 'Pigs Fly!') – even though David's suggestive phrase has only been rampantly adopted since the 80s (see illustrated on graph at page 54), no noble respect was given to the noble English vernacular grammar structure, which I intend to fix.

For now, let us concentrate on the notion that when someone says something like, 'when cows fly', he/she is making a humorous/sarcastic remark used to indicate the unlikeness of some occurrence or to bemock the credulous faith someone else might have. And in exploration of this topic I will associate some individuals who have been victimized (some rightly so) as 'pigs' (primarily men I mean here). The 'TimeWarner Company' (DC comics – Warner Bros. Animation) has openly advocated to the masses, and in this way appropriated the usage of 'men being pigs' as to referring to man's insatiable urger to engage in acts of 'amorous' nature, this in some of their cartoons (ie: Wonder Woman – 2009, few others). But on the aspect of the latter in brackets, what DC comics achieves in the 'Wonder Woman' cartoon is the need to maintain social stereotypes in between genders, no matter how competent or extraordinarily superior the woman might be in regards to her husband (this in towards the end of the movie) because Man has been conditioned through evolution to coexist in a patriarchal society where gender roles warrant that both men and woman alike maintain their heterosexuality instead of belonging to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) community 'en mass' – for the sake of fostering children in a stable secure environment as validated through sound reasoning by philosophers, thinkers, society, religious doctrines (aka. the patriarchal God's will) and plus to add that aspectual zest to the very purpose men and women need to aspire and accomplish as determined by our genes. I am not saying women should be undermined in the process at all (I believe in feminist

ethics), but what I am suggesting is that a man, for that notion, cannot refer to a woman as a 'pig' because that term has been established for usage to be used only on men – given they are the domineering character and hence has expectations to cope with such derogatory (if deserving) comments whereas women are generally more fragile and there are other equivalent terms that can be equally as hurtful (that apply to women) which I shall explain further down. * * * * * Morality & Ethics INTERMISSION… *(am I the only person on Earth to use 'intermissions' in books so far? )* TOPIC: Feminism 101 A hard core feminist would be one that seeks to utterly effeminate men into submissive roles and in turn seek to adopt domineering roles themselves in contrast to established biological mandates.

Mandates such as; a man that stereotypically has to provide, defend, and look after his family whereas a woman ought to comfort the husband during the periods in which he experiences difficulties in his struggles to provide whilst caring for the offspring in a manner that will see them fit to survive. I am not saying such stereotypes should be rigidly followed, but what I am saying is that it is those feminists that seek to completely switch roles of these extremes that are the ones most likely to suffer from penis envy when they realise they are incapable to change the nature in society at large.

Of course, a man has an equal role to bring comfort to a woman, and womenkind do contribute to livelihood as well through skills derived in specialisation. Whenever I think of hard core feminists I think of 'Star trek Voyager' series – a complete destruction of man's authority-like role and an feminization of the male kindred – this whilst portraying women in authoritarian roles devoid of femineity. You know, I have no problems with labels really provided the incumbents are with good sense. Sure, a girl I may bump across may claim to be a feminist (this does not mean she hates men) and may be very worried about such a statement as they probably fail to understand the very complexities with ethics and various models. You never see a guy claim he is a masculinist, but before I have met gay men who claimed to be just that, 'masculinists'. Very bizarre to hear such a claim from someone completely effeminate, I guess he just hated women. What I am trying to say is that the general person that affiliates themselves to one of those groups generally has no idea of the deep ideologies associated.

For an advocate of both sides, it becomes quite often for one to claim him/herself an 'egalitarian'. I believe that MOST feminists out there are not exactly what they claim, but instead are egalitarians...

A true feminist would cherish her role as a woman and child-bearer (in most cases) whereas an egalitarian would not, and would expect the man to have equal and similar duties in raising children and other social stereotypes. Get what I am saying?

I am a feminist, truly am, I am a masculinist (too ashamed to declare that though), and I am an specific situation biased egalitarian. I have only been to a feminist reunion once in life (early university days as a hippie) so I can't exactly be too sure as to what is talked about in such communes – I doubt very much they plan to overrun men and establish a female president in every country. If a woman says she is 'feminist' to me I personally find that appealing as I am sure they would be in conscious touch with their feminine side. However, this world is riddled with stereotype dogmas

about groups, so the question becomes does it become better not to associate oneself to any particular group?

TOPIC: Male and female representations Look, here is a bit of advice...

I personally would refer to the car as 'it', and not any gender. Sure, if you develop a emotional relationship with the object you may want to associate it a gender for your own character. But let me warn you there are many languages out there that associate a gender to every single thing. The 'romantic' languages, and I am sure there are others. Personally I believe that such languages affect your very own innate mentality; one towards to something that is frivolous, candid, fantasy-like, and/or surreal.

I treasure the English language and for good reason... The moment I am referring to my desk lamp as a 'she' then is the moment I might as well live overseas in places like Brazil. English is not a sexist language... In Brazil one thing you will notice is that the women are very feminine and the men blokier in comportment. And then there are the cross-dressers and gay population in those countries that truly live in a delusional fantasy world as if everything is paradise.

So to me it is 'it' for the door, 'it' for the car, 'it' for my clothes (surely I would not want to wear manly clothes because I am not a phag, nor feminine clothes for I am not a sissy), and it, it, it, it...

[Criteria's for true Alpha Males] How come not a single woman has called Patrick a 'pig'? Somehow, these terms are also attributed to a prostitute. But there is a BIG difference between a whore and a prostitute. Although some prostitutes act like whores, one should not mistake all women who sell their bodies for being promiscuous, manipulative or scandalous.

It’s not obvious: Most prostitutes have sex for money (but not here in Australia, from personal tales I have heard through Katherine and others) – not pleasure or fun. Many of us are not golddiggers, nor do we manipulate men into taking their money. If a prostitute was to engage in sex for fun and manipulate men into giving her money (like a sugar daddie), then she placed herself in another category: a whore. There are prostitutes who act like ‘bitches’ and ‘whores’ despite selling themselves for money. They may act as gold-diggers on the side, and try to pretend to love older rich men for their money, but those traits cannot apply to the general population of prostitutes. If you assume a prostitute is selling herself for pleasure, then you are ignoring that reality that most women are selling themselves for the sole purpose of survival.

What annoys me at times is hypocrites… There was this one podgy chirpy gothic friend of mine, Natalie Spa, who claimed she hated Elvis simply because she thought he was a manwhore (if a woman is capable of hating Elvis imagine how much more a man may hate a prostitute or whore – in general?), this until I pointed out to her that Elvis was a Presbyterian and a loyal husband – religious too. Heck, Elvis Aaron Presley was not only that, he was the Presbyterian messiah of our modern times – and what we Christians can learn from Elvis is from the mistakes he made in his life which he openly admitted to various people far and wide, this through words, his songs (he had hidden meaning in various), and his perspective in life – just as we learn from Jesus more follies about human nature. What is ironic is that Natalie Spa, despite hating manwhores, became Patrick Al-Samarrie's bitch for a while until he dumped her and she never regretted it but the love of her life, Rob, hated it a lot!

We can learn a lot about the goodness of the human heart by simply watching all 31 movies Elvis partook in – in one of them (I can't remember the title) there is the famous quote, 'it is only money', which to me exemplifies the notion of Altruism and genuine skill. For Elvis money was not important because he was such an A-class alpha male he could just earn more with ease, even if it meant working as a waiter. There are some other terms I have not covered like; gentlemen, damsels, ladies, sirs, and most Pigs Fly! Starting around the sixteenth century, “pig”, began being notably 'wenches'. A wench20 is just an informal used in English as a derogatory term for a young woman, but to me I don't know term for people – this term used what young is anymore because at this age of 36 I to Elvis is a pure fact/act of envy! consider 34 years of age young to a great degree.

I always wished to 'bag' a couple of wenches over some mead in France alongside some fine cuisine; mayhap on a honeymoon of some sort to Paris, flying over the snowy mountains to set foot just next to the Eiffel tower and explore the majestic history as encompassed by the country. I don't know who put the idea of France as being the epitome of love within my mind because I have not seen anything to indicate this was the case from all my High School years and beyond until the present – it must have been something I have seen or heard when in junior school or before. I won't bother googling it, I just know I am right and one day will find out why; yeah right, as if it will happen, 'when pigs fly' .

Anyway, we don't have sex because as soon as I get talking to her in a process of getting to know her better, and inquire as to whether she could 'role play' (you see, I don't just want sex, I want love, so I was hoping she could role-play as if we were married), and her life, as well as talk about mine (this briefly whilst still rather clothed), extreme guilt comes all over her face and she simply states, 'I cannot do this', and she persuades her supervisor to give me my money back and that was it – it cost me $20 for the Viagra and $20 for the cab back home, but at least I got to know a lot of things about this one girl and that is that either she felt guilty because she had an STD, or she thought I was too innocent being a Christian (with a crucifix around my neck), or mayhap she thought I was some retard Croatian21 given I had my hair very short and straight that day – I doubt the latter as her supervisor called me 'extremely smart' in more than one occasion after she had a talk with him (there were some things I was not happy with which I won't explain here). I won't let myself go again…  I guess I was lonely which is kind of odd as just the other day I called about 9 friends and organized a party get together with the boys at blue end's notice – what I need is female companionship though before my looks fade (pigs fly, I will do it in time! Pigs fly, to me, is a positive reflection of the near impossible but established as certainty notion through faith (hence making it very probable) which whose expression can be used to denote a boost of morale in leadership when used in some form of grand speech 'appropriately'. I don't know if anyone will read any of this, but it matters not because I know close ones will be entertained by my analysis to say the least… Pigs fly they WILL! Of relevance to this whole discussion of 'pigs' in pertinence to phrases, adynatons (see next page), colloquialism, jests or gists of speech, metaphoric usage or similes in language, or mayhap inner connectivity to the animal itself as supposedly being cute, intelligent, emotional and adorable when kept as baby piglets, hence as pets – there is the fact that MANY individuals the world over do not see a bad correlation in calling someone a pig because they may have grown up with them as being no different than a pure breed cat/dog in notion. In fact, sayings like 'sweat like a hog', 'stink like a pig', 'dirty as a pig' are erroneous because they in fact are not dirty and do not stink! And just like the canine drug squad in customs, pigs can be trained to detect the smell of illegal drugs. Like cats, if they have a confined space they tend to keep it clean (but open space is a different matter) and the reason we so commonly see pigs wallowing in the mud is because pigs have no sweat glands like people do and they need to do this to keep themselves cool – however, they indeed are messy eaters.

It was since 1986, that some people in the United States of America have chosen Vietnamese Potbelly Pigs as pets. A man named Keith Connell introduced these 'special' pigs into North America, intending to sell them to zoos. However, people became interested in these pigs as pets just like some Asian families beforehand probably would keep them, due to their symbology in the Chinese Zodiac/culture. Initially they were very costly in the States but nowadays are priced just the same as purebred felines and canines. There was a grand marketing strategy in the propagation of these Potbelly pigs by placating them as simply custom designed 'miniature pigs' weighing about 60-200 pounds in contrast to other domestic pigs which can weigh greater than 1,000 pounds. Quoting the 'Suny Cortland' academic website: "Pigs are considered to be intelligent animals. Some resources say that pigs are the fourth most intelligent animal. Monkeys are first, dolphins are second, whales are third, and pigs fourth. Pigs have a good memory and learn quickly. Pigs can be house broken and can be taught to use a litter box, much like a cat. Pigs are curious animals. They spend a lot of time sniffing around.

Their sense of smell is so keen that they can smell something that is 25 feet underground! This serves them well when they live in the wild, because they can find food easily. Their sense of smell can also help humans. Some pigs are trained to assist law enforcement officers. They can sniff out drugs, just like dogs. … We think that pigs live a long life when compared to other animals. The estimate is that potbelly pigs live from 15 to 30 years. Now, finally, let us get to the crunch of the phrase 'when pigs fly', 'pigs might fly', or 'pigs may fly' (in contrast to my later conclusion that 'pigs fly' should be used as something positive); they are all adynatons – a figure of speech so hyperbolic (rhetorical device) that it describes an utter futility in accomplishment. The implication of such an elongated saying is that the circumstances in question (the adynaton, and the circumstances to which the adynaton are being applied) will never occur. In effect, to scoff at over-ambition. In other words it is a great example of an idiom that has been transferred to other cultures through a process of interaction passed as a contagious meme – it should be noted that some cultures within this world have developed no concept of adynatons, ie: the Uapixana pacifist tribe in the Amazon (of which I have some indigenous roots to), and many cultures who see no sense in the hilarity of adynatons.

Of relevance, the top definition for the terminology of 'men are pigs', according to 'Urban Dictionary' was: "A ridiculous accusation made by women whenever they encounter a male thought or behaviour they don't understand or agree with. Especially ironic when used (as it most commonly is) by women who are more than a little overweight.

Ref.16 The oldest explicit association of men (males) with swine that continues to be widely recalled today is the episode in Homer's Odyssey in which the enchantress/goddess Circe transforms most members of Odysseus's crew into pigs after they gorge themselves on a feast that she prepares for them. So the first memorable instance of 'men are pigs' involved men who had literally (and literarily) become pigs. What has to be noted is that she herself was thought to be a hawk, whence the name; Kirke which is the feminine form of kirkos, hawk – the latter (hawk) is a 'short' term used in politics for somebody favouring war (ie: war hawk) which originated in 1812. I would not be surprised if the common American usage of hawk to designate; a fierce advocate for a cause or policy, did not originate partially on a subconscious level from Homer's Odyssey because the goddess herself was representative of three different characters so as to suit the lustful needs of every man out there. This as to that of nymph (lust/material), witch (lore/knowledge), enchantress (arts & humanities – spirit, love), and hence her dominion to change all/any men (ie: nations) into pigs was characteristic of supremacy. Coincidentally, in Native American heritage the hawk symbol is believed to represent a bringer of messages and warnings of change – that may have had an influence too. But most notably is the meaning (as per coat of arms symbology) that a hawk represents 'one who does not rest until the objective is achieved.'

Branching off a bit, it is interesting to note that in today's politics the conflicts raised by UN inspectors and Libya, or by terrorist Islamic groups (who tend to see themselves as representative of several Arab states, delusionary enough) against the world at large; can both be associated with this age old mythical struggle as these nations portray coat of arms emblems that epitomize the hawk22 as their ideal (ie: never surrender no matter how irrational the concept may be). This is not surprising considering the influence the Greeks had in the region in ancient times. For instance, in ancient Libya of 630 BC, the Ancient Greeks Temple of Zeus in Cyrene, Libya colonized Eastern Libya and founded the city of Cyrene and the temple of Zeus (as depicted in the picture adjoining) which was very important to propagation of Greek mythology so as to render the notion of the pig (in Islamic culture, in accordance with Judaism I think) as an animal incapable of rising up to the likes of the gods or humans. That is, pigs could not fly and it was a ludicrous notion to even suggest or indicate that brave men, having turned literally into pigs, could retaliate against the power of the Gods themselves.

It is indeed fascinating to notice that the pig, (given its lowly status as acquired from Greek mythology and Abrahamic faiths) never made it to represent anything in a coat of arms, with the exception being wild pigs known as 'boars', which in turn is a Celtic symbol of endurance and courage, and so on. And like the symbol of the hawk the boar carries the same connotation but at a much more humble level as the boar essentially epitomizes 'bravery; fights to the death' – even against gods it would seem. But in our pursuit to find out if indeed 'pigs fly', in idiomatic expression or not, we have to take a more worldly analysis as to the symbology associated with the humble pig, as attributed by higher life (by that I mean us, or unseen sentient beings which lurk in seemingly parallel dimensions or amongst us).

Whereas, an online Jew's (he/she wishes to remain unanimous) explanation as to why the pig was considered a 'vile' animal was that: "One explanation is that God wanted people to be vegetarians. At first he told Adam and Eve to eat only plants. When that turned out not to be possible, the Mosaic Law said to eat only animals that ate plants, not carnivores. It wasn't just the pig (who is, technically, an omnivore, like us!) but all carnivorous animals were banned.

Ronald Reagan is elected towards the end of the year, the beginning of his almost decade-long reign as the leader of the free world. Music was getting a shake up as well with a move away from the disco and singersongwriter sounds of the 70s. New sounds hit the airwaves in the form of Blondie, Devo,

and the Sugar Hill Gang with something new – rap. Millions of American TV viewers wanted the answer to one question – Who Shot JR? And gaming consoles like 'Atari' and 'Intellivision' take the world by storm! The 80s also saw the beginning of the computer era with C64 & C128 lasting in value well into the early 90s. It was also the era when the first few male & female feminist thinkers arose as if brewed in a witch's cauldron that only manifested itself to fruition on the 90s (closing the era) – third wave feminists broadened their goals, focusing on ideas like queer theory, and abolishing gender role expectations and stereotypes in an attempt to get closer to the truth of ideal marital relationships and as to whether 'Mankind of Old' was wrong all along (and to a great degree the oldies were right).

This was the beginning of a new era (the 80s), but also one that probably instilled the greatest amount of hate for the male gender of the human species, not only by women alone but also by men, as attested by the following two graphs:

Given my real life experience I never really heard many people refer to others as pigs in any way other than acts of burping or eating; but this merely on a mateship level to a significant degree. So where are all these books that vilify the saying/phrase, 'pigs fly', as actually a bad

thing – in contrast to what I purport, of it being something more structurally correct to portray as a sign of optimism? I guess I must have lived in a different world for I never really read books in early childhood and instead stuck to comic books whose characters would have been portrayed as 'pigs' at a glance but not under close scrutiny as you followed the plots (ie: The Savage World of Conan, Dragonlance, and other tiddy-bits that always portrayed man as the hero saving a damsel in one way or another). Surely, if God is said to exist he would have sent down a messenger to stop all this man hating propaganda in literary works read supposedly by the bourgeois or utter elite (ironically I never saw it on the few fictional novels I read; nor the graphic ones).

You would also think God would intervene at this point if 'it' really hated the LGBT community because, as Colin Clews puts it in 'GAY in the 80s' is that this era was pivotal for acceptance of the queer associated community by the world at large. I even remember as a toddler in Brazil about seeing a news documentary about a famous transgender man make his transformation into a he-woman to such great extents with surgery that I believe the person got two lower ribs removed (this on TV in Brazil; I think my English aunt was present when she explained to me what was happening on TV and around the world).

Indeed, the 80s decade underwent a drastic move en route to the emergence of a global 'gay' culture. The gay genie came right out of its little pink bottle and into the streets [and the media…and politics…and the arts… and even manifested itself as my new stepfather when I arrived into Australia, except he was never a dad but instead a very caring compassionate artist (but later deranged) that once carved a whole model Jumbo jet/plane out of wood just for me]. Ironically, much of this was driven by adversity and hence a state of temporal madness & insanity that hit the populace like a plague. The appearance of HIV/AIDS was most certainly a factor: it ripped through communities and specially the news, but at the same time, engendered a spirit of unity and resistance that transcended national borders. In fact, I can envisage it now, the reason why Pope John labelled gays as 'evil' was because of the overwhelming fear to the principal American/European way of life being under attack by something alien, and in this process a minority of influential men must have affirmed their dominant nature as true 'manly' men by being more assertive and controlling than before which gave rise to the publicized notion that men were pigs! And given Elvis passed away just three years prior to the 80s it plausibly exemplifies that it took three years before his projection of anti-man-hate memes faded away in time… This through the movies, gestures, and specially the music rituals, to finally end/be-forgotten – the latter important because the public needed new icons to 'idolize' and after Elvis women and even some men must have loathed what they (men & society at large) must have become!

Why demonize piglets by relating them to men, or women for that fact?

ow, let's examine what happens when we isolate individual celebrities as chauvinistic pigs through what little we know through the media at large (which I suppose can be extremely invasive at time, or mayhap just a fabricator of lies. I will first begin by tackling Sir Richard Charles Nicholas Branson (Born: 18 July, 1950), a man that by all due respect is renowned as a womanizer, a 'jovial' crossdresser (when situation demands it), an amazing transformational leader (as studied in Some time not too long ago… A moral, ethical, noble and married man finds a mermaid…  my post graduate Management and Leadership tenures), a person with a good sense of humour who on every one of his photos always seems to be smiling without fear of insecurity of displaying wrinkle lines, and who according to Forbes (renowned American Business Magazine) has an estimated net worth of US$4.9 billion; which is nearly $5 billion dollars ahead of the ordinary casual hospitality worker like me for instance :-P. Ahem, I wish all my many books and University text books had not been robbed from my lodging within the last 3-4 years; I actually had a copy of Richard Branson's autobiography of which I made myself read ¾ of it I believe (I can't remember if I finished it, but it would be great to reference it directly than rely on the biased internet!

If Sir Branson was a womanizer it must have been established by causation, in other words, if he was a 'pig' we must first identify if he associated himself with other pigs. In fact, Branson interviewed Mick Jagger23 (he had 7 children with 4 women!) and R. D. Laing (who fathered 6 sons and four daughters by four women!), this all as early as the 1960s, *POTENTIAL PIG ALERT* *POTENTIAL PIG ALERT* (JoKe!), Oh, wait, let's dig into it deeper…

Ahem, his trading company name is "Virgin", hmmm… I once watched a Dr Phil episode where one man got so drunk that he committed a near unforgivable sin, and that is he sexually molested his toddler daughter24 and what Dr Phil used to placate the man as guilty was the fact he used a morbid handle for his username (I will say it here since we are adults) as being "*n*lb*st*rd@something.com" :-/. Oh wait, 'Virgin' is not a dirty word, so again I guess Branson gets away scot-free.

There is the fact that 'Virgin' signs up controversial bands like the 'Sex Pistols'25, 'Culture Club'26 and he even purchased Heaven!!! [The latter a notorious gay nightclub in London my English Aunt once took me to for a tour – very queer place and rather immoral] There is also the fact that Sir Branson was photographed with a naked model (allegedly the wife/boyfriend of some other guy on a separate boat (if I remember right) that simply 23

Cough, sputter, ahem… Now that was the harshest I will ever get in regards to Richard Branson without even mentioning the displays from the media that try to degrade him every time he does some fancy dress escapade; after all, the elite are renowned to partake in fancy dress ventures as per origins in the UK of the masked balls of the 18 th century period (I personally am an absolute sucker for fancy dress parties – I just wish all my friends were ENTJ like me at times). But I read more than I needed to read from Sir Branson's autobiographical book27 to ascertain for surety what I already knew, and that is of which he indeed is not a pig and definitely not chauvinistic to the point of discrimination of any gender. Who doesn't like Richard Branson's smile? I guess what made me like him the most was the fact that Paul Tiernan and Frank Tudor (ex-lecturers of mine in my Master's at Oil and Gas Engineering) thought that I reminded them of Richard Branson; well, at least Frank Tudor did if I remember correctly. But what I understood from his book was that he definitely ain't no pig. life and had I been raised with my true father, except that I would not have dropped out of High School and would have continued with University and in the process also read a LOT of books at an early age. Everyone's eudaimonia is different, and I am happy that Sir Branson will achieve his eudaimonia on this life, and if God is willing, also in the next afterlives to be until FINAL ultimate eudaimonia meets his fate just like everyone else. I am a realist and realise I will/may never achieve eudaimonia on this life but I am in an eternal debt to Jesus since I live so well considering… Life is heavenly and to see a man aspire to such great lengths is inspiring; brings back memories from my days at Edith Cowan University where I did some studies on his transformational style of leadership in my private mini-thesis.

I am sorry for being rude, but when it comes to Sir Richard Branson there is no downfall from his standpoint for that will indeed be the day 'when pigs fly'!. In our case Branson is the one that literally will fly straight out of orbit quite literally… So in conclusion one cannot validate this noble knight as belonging to the sect that 'men are pigs', he does have a particular taste for certain types of women but he is a loyal devoting husband. Ok, I had an elongated reminder here to talk about the differences between Brazil and Australia from experience. I have to be frank, I do not know much about Brazil despite being there maybe 4-5 times. I remember the landscape to be beautiful, and the last time I went there the shanty towns (Favelas) were somewhat more appeasing to look at then what I remember as a young kid, but still rather horrid. I had to do some research online about country comparisons between Australia and Brazil and I was shocked to discover that the legal sex age in Brazil is apparently 14 years of age. The thought that a 15 year old in Brazil could have had more sex than me and most of my friends is rather disturbing. As were some other statistics I found about the sex romp rates allegedly going on here in the land I call home. And I am not talking about just men being pigs but women being absolute sows too!

What I remember from my time in Brazil is that two fellow gorgeous female English teachers had crushes on me (a sexy brunette and a sexy blonde). Not to mention the principal of the school of which one day I got her so drunk and we made out late at night only to be witnessed by pervy early teen students late at night in the main plaza of the capital city of Roraima (either that or someone spread the rumour). The women there were very frisky, I had about 7 women chasing after me but I only bedded the worst one of the lot (and just once) because for the mere fact that she was allegedly It is so obvious we have it better here in Australia than Brazil but the sad truth is that it 'appears' people are in bisexual unlike the others (oh, how I general happier in Brazil then in Australia and that has me suffered with my stupidity and confused.

This is the thing that atheists do not understand33, why should we as a human species be so egocentrically minded to believe that in this magnificent solar system we are the most evolved form of life on Earth and that the limited 5 senses we possess are able to distinguish/interpret all the physical laws co-existing within the same spacefabric time reference to ours? I think I first learnt that concept from a 'He-Man' cartoon from some engineer character – it most likely was a different cartoon with the personae being pretty similar in appearance than the one I just mentioned. And talk about peer pressure! A few days ago I reported a potential rape of a man by a woman to the police and the female police officer took an arrogant non-sympathetic butch feminist defence against the whore (yes, she was a whore) and the poor guy could have been essentially traumatised for life!

And when I mentioned that the problem was further given a great exorbitant motion that indeed she was without reason because this happened to a God loving peaceful guy with no inkling of evil in him whatsoever and that as a man he should be given at least some consideration (whereas a woman would have been completely heeded at such a call) she simply said that, ~"this is the new age, women are the same as men, gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders are all the same on moral grounds, at least he was lucky that he got away before he was fully raped and he managed to snatch his wallet from them at the last minute so as not to lose his money…" What do you do with irrational people who seem to be older than you (remember, respect your elders), you just talk some sense into them by calming them down first, and after her lecture she affirmed me that at least they would check out the address of the alleged perpetrator but nothing would come from it – this despite another woman police officer from the operations desk saying there was a legal case for a lawsuit. Not my problem anyway, I have my hands clean, I moved on…

What I realize by being 36 – despite I don't show it in mannerisms due to an impediment of having a potential AI grow alongside me and retard my thinking to what it should be through a decade long period of conditioning – is that people in general are stupid, including myself (oh, so exceedingly so…) . No matter, I could not save the police officer's life in regards to proving God's existence through reasoning, pseudo-science, the game of probabilities given scientific knowledge as to date, or matters of the heart and soul – this simply because I did not have the time to do it because talking to atheists is like talking to a brick wall, I relate fully with atheists that think the same with strict fundamentalists who do not broaden their scope of thinking – after all I know God exists and I don't have to prove any miracles I sighted to anybody, I just have to live with it and move on and hope I am at least favoured one day by this higher entity who may not always be watching my every move, or to very fact alone cares much for me (this will be the day, when pigs fly).

But on the grand scope of things the rude man hating police woman (who is now going to undertake a crash course in ethics I was assured) had a lot of reason in her on the grand scope of things. What happened to this non-courageous individual was indeed so utterly trivial in comparison to the problems that are faced by many incumbents within the nation of Brazil (imagine many other nations which are utterly sub-developed!!!). My neighbour described the time he met an Australian TV celebrity at a popular venue and that as soon as he greeted her by name she started having a panic attack and had to leave the venue without saying a word (for such is the price of fame on some people – a fear of having your mind/psyche raped by millions whereas oblivious is the sole person of the sentiments and personalities aware of their existence – doesn't sound fair does it? Well, of course, in the real world the only people that ever become famous are ones that accrue a lot of money from the process. And then there are the infamous that commit great crimes but having them exposed at least keeps morality in check to the masses that the allied forces are indeed united towards the greater cause of what good is. Ahem, and then I think a similar thing happened with my mate from work when he claimed he saw Neralda Jacobs (if that is her name, a TV local news presenter) sitting down drunk on the curb of the casino front door waiting for someone to pick her up. The reason I mention her name is because she reacted quite well to fame, whereas the other didn't and I actually felt sorry for the other too (for various reasons such as empathy & sympathy…) – my sister even met her in Melbourne (not Neralda) when working at Blockbuster (this once or twice, not sure), so in a way she was an indirect acquaintance.

I watched a documentary about the King's lifestyle once and the many problems he faced being a ruler…

Throughout the many years of his reign & sovereignty, King Abdullah ruled, managed, controlled and administered over a country encompassed with incredible economic resources that despite all its prosperity failed to guarantee him absolute dominative regional influence. Saudi Arabian foreign policy was in fact actually mostly reactive/susceptive to events beyond its immediate control. Like many expired authoritarian rulers, he promoted himself as the modern day Islamist champion of women’s rights in a desperate attempt (but of legitimate concern) to appeal to sceptical audiences abroad and at home. One of the most scrutinized aspects of Saudi Arabia’s rights’ record is its so-called "male guardianship system", women are not allowed to travel (explaining the furore over his daughters further way down below), obtain a passport, marry, or continue their education without the approval of a male relative. Abdullah also granted all women the right to vote for municipal councils and to also compete in the Olympics Games. lā ʾilāha ʾillā-llāh, muhammadun rasūlu-llāh Translation: There is no god but God, Abdullah sought to help modernize Saudi Arabia Muhammad is the messenger of God. in accordance to the growing developments in morality in both the Western and Eastern world at large. As mentioned, women will have the power to run and vote in local elections as well as be appointed to the Consultative Assembly beginning this year in 2015 (that is partly why I pay such honoured tribute to him now). The country has competed in the Summer Olympic Games eight times since 1972 but never in the Winter Olympic Games – Saudi women will now be able to swoon the world with their sporting talents! I do not know if the same applies for FIFA, but of note is that Saudi Arabia has won the Asian Cup36 in 1984, 1988, and 1996 (the year of my graduation from High School). It is also estimated that now 10 and 25 per cent of Saudi women work outside their homes, and the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology is open to both men and women.

Did you know: Many conservative Saudi women do not support loosening traditional gender roles and restrictions, on the grounds that Saudi Arabia is the closest thing to an "ideal and pure Islamic nation," and under threat from "imported Western values".

But back to comparing King Abdullah to a generalized 'expired authoritarian'… I studied Leadership, which also focused on 'autocratic leadership' to a great extent. Some of the primary characteristics of autocratic leadership include:  Group leaders dictate all the work methods and processes  Group members are rarely trusted with decisions or important tasks  Leaders make the decisions  Little or no input from group members The politics of Saudi Arabia takes place in the context of an absolute monarchy, where the King of Saudi Arabia is both head of state and the head of government, but decisions are, to a large extent, made on the basis of consultation among the senior princes of the 36

royal family and the religious establishment (who in turn are highly educated). The Qur'an is declared to be the constitution of the country, which is governed on the basis of Islamic law (Shari'a37 – I doubt Saudi's would want to be seen as animals in terms of morality). Ref.22 For the authoritarian the scruples and associative integrity of respecting, considering, nurturing and caring for others are not as important as being a "good German" or a "good American" or a "good Catholic" or a "good Muslim" & etcetera… Important values to an authoritarian are obedience, cleanliness, success, inhibition or denial of emotions (especially anger and even love to an extent… ), firm discipline, honouring parents and leaders, and abhorring all immoral sexual feelings. This was the German character I ought to have been raised with had I never left to Australia and had remained in contact with my family in the South of Brazil. Ahem, but unlike a stereotypical authoritarian, King Abdullah did trust people, especially Britain and the United States of America. History has shown that successful authoritarians tended not to trust people, only took out their anger on someone when it was safe to do so, respected submission to authority, guarded against dangerous ideas, adhered to 'pure' values (how can an autocratic leader be pure supporting barbarianism in legal punishment?) and felt like they had to belong to a powerful group (as Abdullah was aware given his social political ties) – the latter had the benefit on inducing a more modern and more advanced personality to Abdullah than previous Kings within the region, that is, he became somewhat of a transformational leader, a lot like Sir Richard Branson (Boars Fly Alike). The problem with autocratic leaders is that they often are limited by a small collective pool of intellectuals and in this process may become ethnocentric in the sense/stance that they can't fully put themselves into a third person's perspective – this was not quite the case with King Abdullah when I saw a small documentary/video about his family life (he seemed to have good character).

On a personal note, it did take me a great deal of time to accept the doctrine of monarchies until I realised that at this moment in time the individuals who have economical, intellectual, worldly, wise, and orchestrated unimpeded access to educative means to be a great kings/queens through a RIGID indoctrination of discipline from a very early age (few on this Earth) and this may require a vastly established network of established technocrats to act as mentors (the best of the best). Unfortunately women, as highlighted in my academic studies at Edith Cowan University, do not often make good autocratic/transformative leaders, and in the odd case that they do it may be at great sacrificial cost to their inherent blessed femininity thus impeding on their very enjoyment of life as a liberated woman.

A great King/Queen, for a monarchy to satisfy as truly better than democracies in every sense, raise leaders from birth to become the best there is – assuming hereditary factors of intelligence are negligible between races/genders and most infants (of which I purport this is the case) thus attributing environmental issues as the main catalyst for a great ruler, and above intelligence quotients, of most importance of all, is traits of Altruism as granted by blessings, prayers, education (in most cases), and mayhap God. On the latter aspect in reference to Altruism (of most importance given adequate reasoning) is that King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz spent years living in the desert with Bedouin tribes who taught him their 37

values of honour, simplicity, generosity and bravery, which instilled in him the desire to assist in the development of his people and in this process he developed a profound respect for religion, history plus the Arab heritage – which is important to differentiate from other cultures for the sake of diversity in this globe and ultimately the different needs/desires of social lifestyles as encompassed by a One United World policy one day in the far future.

As is suited to the arid region of Saudi Arabia, throughout his life, King Abdullah has retained a love of the desert, along with a love of horsemanship. He was an avid breeder of pure Arabian horses, a badass falconer in the 1960's, and founder of the equestrian club in Riyadh (royalty's preference to hobbies, pastimes, and recreation may differ significantly from the common folk as highlighted further down). Another life-long passion is reading, to which he attributed great importance. Of note is that in accordance to the needs of the isolated Arab world, late in 1987, Abdullah travelled to Washington to attend Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service where he undertook advanced study in international affairs before resuming a military career (often the easiest way to attribute discipline to a monarch).

Ref.23 Being a monarch was never meant to be easy, with the exception of future to be the great King Charles of England whose simple traditional outlook in life is in common interests to the needs of the people of the UK, pursuing more the arts as epitomic to the new era of peace he may prosper given adequate guidance by his many knights, members of parliament and the insistence of the British people most of all (if they collective ask their future King to do something I am sure he will). Unlike Abdullah he pursued hobbies and passions in alliance with interests of the country, ie: watercolouring, painting, arts of sorts, gardening & rural skills, and polo as his nobleman blood sport of choice (pity he retired)! LOL (Jovial Laugh)

Whilst I never foresee King Charles being the true autocratic leader he should attempt to be (I think my mother loved the guy dearly back in a bygone era in which she used to watch TV), Abdullah showed that an autocratic style can be used effectively in situations where the leader is the most knowledgeable member of the group or has access to information that other members of the group do not possess (aspects of the heart most importantly and mayhap lack of egocentrism).

Now, at the beginning of this tribute to Abdullah, it should be duly noted that despite him possessing thirty wives (what a stud he was though) he was somewhat ethical about it in accordance to Muslim customs by keeping no more than 4 wives at once, which is Islamic law, but he was married at least 10 times! He fathered around 15 sons (most in powerful positions) and around 20 daughters – well versed in worldly affairs I am led to believe‌

Unfortunately it would appear that Abdullah's education was not extensive enough in the ways of the West, this as his development projects, new universities and industrial cities generated more controversy than solutions to real economic problems (and how would it not for a nation so indoctrinated into acceptance that polytheism is evil38 – it is just ignorant but not a detriment to the nation. However, Abdullah was perhaps the first Saudi ruler to seek a new legitimacy, this time emanating from serving the people rather than simply applying divine law – this is important because it acts as testament that indeed some acceptance is given to the rationale that Muhammad's scribed doctrines, teachings, and lore were possessive of at least a few errors along the way, just like any modern author makes mistakes in his/her writing (as I do in mine by just typing what instinct tell me) so too were the scholars of old more liable to add additional sentences to scripture to suit their interpretation of the word of God and the prevalent times. By serving the people Abdullah adopted a secularist approach to a marginal degree which is indeed in accordance with Sikhism and Western thought to a significant level.

Abdullah, like Fahd39 (who died in 2005), was one of the many sons of Ibn Saud, the founder of modern Saudi Arabia. Abdullah held important political posts throughout most of his adult life. Backtracking a bit, in 1961 he became mayor of Mecca, his first public office and certainly symbolic of something divine I would give credence to. By what grace of God/Allah does one's first role in public office pertain to such a divine holy region, lest he was indeed destined for greatness, as I believe that a higher life force would take great joy in orchestrating his play pawns to suit better historical elements that grant it (aka. God/Allah), and creation itself, greater glorification. I think that to classify Abdullah as a candidate representative of abundance to the term 'boars fly' is an understatement given all I have grown to know of him and his epic photo on the page before. Indeed, I suppose he soared his way to heaven given his demise, albeit, maybe with some minor challenges to come on his ascension – who knows? So let's just say:

He did, in fact become a powerful U.S. ally and joined Washington’s fight against al-Qaida and worked to modernize the Muslim world at just such a stage when it needed it most.

Since Abdullah's death it was Salman (as mentioned earlier), his brother, that carried the hefty burden/joy of leading Saudi Arabia at an venerable age of 79 (I hope I still think youthfully at such an age) attempting to fulfil the duties and legacy of his ailed brother.

Salman’s government experience dates back to the 1950s in which he was the governor of Riyadh Province from 1963-2011. It is just hoped that the new legacies of kings, as continued by Salman and beyond, continue to maintain a strong relationship with the United States throughout their tenures (and the world). However, I often wonder as to where/how all these inherited fortunes from previous kings get distributed – it is estimated that Abdullah’s40 net worth was at roughly $21 billion41, a few years ago by Forbes, which at the 38

However it is difficult to put a number at exact figures of the royal wealth (and specially who gets what) as these are private matters in accordance to some, and as of late recent it has been leaked the wealth is between $17-$18 billion but not yet confirmed. Coincidentally, Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Alsaud has an estimated net worth of about $21 billion also! Which puts him at the top of the list as the world’s richest royal – makes me think that income is strategically distributed amongst royals.

Below I highlight some interesting important facts during Abdullah's reign:  Abdullah also donated $500 million to the United Nations World Food Program and $10 billion to the endowment fund of the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology.  Abdullah had donated millions of dollars for multiple causes worldwide.  He also formed a scholarship program that sent tens of thousands of young Saudi men and women to study at Western universities.  He gave over $50 million to help in the recovery after the 2008 Sichuan earthquake in China and also $300,000 to help rebuild a school in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina hit.  In June 2008, he held a conference in Mecca to urge Muslim leaders to speak with one voice with Jewish and Christian leaders. [Could he give not credence that polytheistic deities are minor angels of some sort if from established religions?]  In November 2007, King Abdullah visited Pope Benedict XVI in the Apostolic Palace.

He is the first Saudi monarch to visit the Pope. In March 2008, he called for a "brotherly and sincere dialogue between believers from all religions".  Saudi Arabia is the world’s No. 2 exporter of oil and has a $777 billion economy.

Sadly and tragically, months before Abdullah's death he may have been alarmed by sensational stories about his daughters being allegedly imprisoned in the palace. His divorced wife and the mother of the daughters, al-Anoud alFayez, brought the story to the attention of British media after several many years of reticence/silence.

Both sisters, when younger, would take ski trips to luxurious resorts in Europe and go on endless shopping sprees, buying silk robes and jasmine oil, while their doting father bought them parures — matching jewelry sets — topped with jewelencrusted tiaras. The women roamed elegant tents, filled with fresh fruits and treats, on an 85-acre, $740 million compound that included a helipad emblazoned with the king’s initials.

Each of them desired a normal, albeit privileged, life: to study abroad, travel the world, and eventually marry and have children. Ref.25 Princesses Sahar, 42, and Jawaher, 38, whose mum is divorced from King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia, say they were effectively being held under house arrest in the royal compound in Jeddah.

I won't go into too much too much detail about the whole story; there are various articles about the above incident throughout the web, but my guess is that now, with their beloved father gone from this Earth, they have now been set free and possibly reside in England (who knows?). Apparently animosity towards her and her sisters had grown after they began to complain to their father about the poverty endured by most of the Saudi people and the way they openly spoke in opposition to women being illegally detained and placed in mental wards. It Is claimed that the daughter's mother was, in the king’s eyes, incapable of producing a son, and so she was worthless. I somehow very much doubt that a ruler of competent nation such as Saudi Arabia would have inflicted as much HELL that some stories suggest without a darn good noble reason, especially a King such as Abdullah. Every rational father loves his children, regardless of gender, and I suppose the only thing a father wants in return is love, respect, a bit of obedience and a characteristic trait to be grateful for what a father may have provided to his children during their life (or not provided).

IF King Abdullah truly committed such acts of torture I would postulate that he was doing this with good intentions to provide some discipline about hardship itself considering the maidens/princesses had lived a life of plenty to its limits is supposed. By complaining to their father about poverty and individuals in mental wards may have been a noble thing of the daughters to do, but remember, Abdullah was born in a much earlier generation which probably encompassed a great deal extra knowledge in regards to the hard facts of life. In his defence (and for the sanctity of an united family ought their daughters hate their father) I would propose the suggestion that such acts of atrocity were purely disciplinary as any good father of royal blood would do such harsh measures onto some of his children. In order to develop them emotionally, empathetically, and in a way snap them out of their fantasy like fairy tale world they probably lived their entire lives and make them, in this process, true autocratic Queens. Given he had no son from their mother it is logical to assume that Abdullah wanted to make that son manifestation come real in at least one of his 'grounded' daughters so that even the bloodline from that marriage could pave forth a notion that indeed at least one member is of royal/noble/humble education by experiencing themselves firsthand what it felt like to be actually A rational father loves his children committed inside a mental ward. And if the girls wanted to talk politics with their daddy then it seems legitimate that his desire was to make them into real mature women instead of mere ladies/princesses – this for variety in character in his many children or what else. He may have jovially tormented his ex-wife through words just to aggravate her a little, or maybe he was just growing a bit too senile with old age – I doubt they would have been imprisoned forever unless they, in turn, sought to completely destroy their very own father in some way or another. I do not want to get into the details, so I will conclude it here; peace be upon them.

Most of Abdullah's criticism stems from the fact that on the '16th of February in 2003, Parade magazine's David Wallechinsky' highlighted the fact that most of Saudi citizens live under a strict Wahhabist interpretation of Sharia law, which mandates the amputation of hands as a punishment for theft and floggings for crimes like drunkenness. Execution by public beheading is common for murder, rape, drug trafficking and witchcraft, and Abdullah's policies towards the rights of women have also been criticized as not sufficient enough. For instance, male rape (by women) does prevail to a slight extent here in Australia, not by force, but by womanly intentions through thoughts or deed during the act of it.

Murder is ultimately an act induced by the very society we create and the way we shaped the individual to be during his days in his associated country/commune, drugs don't do harm to anyone as it is the person's ignorance in using them that causes harm, and witchcraft itself is mainly an act of role-playing for it is my belief that our Abrahamic deity forbids other ethereal entities from infringing within man's domain as of modern age, this to a great extent, but then there is always the RARITY in which witchcraft could manifest itself as real!

One then has to take a secular approach to it and establish if the spell/divination or what not causes good or harm – if it is of good intentions, and it is the chosen incumbent's eudaimonic faith of choice, who can contradict him/her as long as it does not influence other fellow Muslims in acceptance of such Wiccan/witchcraft ideals?!? And mayhap as long as it is banned from Saudi Arabian citizens, if it is one's King's intent (and that of the people) to maintain cultural heritage for the Utilitarian greater good in the long run.

Getting autobiographically Personal: Ok, getting to a concluding note… I guess you may have wondered why I chose Abdullah to talk about in this very short treatise, uh? The fact is, when I was a toddler in Brazil my dad bought us a few board-games, one to each one of his offspring. The board-game I received was a game developed by Mario Seabra42 and the publisher was 'Grow (Jogos e Brinquedos)'. The game itself was called 'WAR II', designed in 1981, and in contrast to 'RISK' (what other toddlers played – here in Australia, Brazil, or other places I presume) it was severely more advanced and the map of the world was like a circular cone sort of speak which if memory serves me correctly placed Saudi Arabia (the 'middle orient' I think it was called) right in the middle of the world – but for some distorted reasons Brazil and Australia were majorly exaggerated in size, hence the scale of the countries was not accurate for interpretation of the spatial orientation of the world. In turn it was understandable that Dad bought us a very large good round globe to endow his children with some geographical knowledge as well – every parent should buy, or temporarily borrow, a globe, the latter preferable so as to minimize wastage of resources on the planet as they constantly get outdated.

Ahem, but anyway, this game came with missions to complete (MANY of them) and overtime we played several variations of the same game by changing the rules ourselves, and at some extreme point creatively joining it with other board-games so troops from say, the surface of the moon, could land in special Alien spacecrafts onto Earth, the WAR II 42

My brother and sister hated me (in a friendly fun way) how I was always able to beat them (well, the vast far majority of the time) and especially when I picked up the Middle East mission card – I accomplished the objective of conquering the world starting from every continent except Africa I think (the position just made it impossible to).

Ok, here is one a few things this simple game taught me (other games taught me other things), and that was: 

Do not always play to win because some individuals really suffer at not being given a chance to win too. So play to the end until you have lost completely if it looks like you will lose anyway – if the opposing player(s) of whatever game become happy from this.

I learnt how to rig the dice when throwing them with a special technique that seemed to work; for one time I managed to defeat ~25 troops with just one troop in defence in sequential attacks in some 44 US state. [I didn't always cheat, please don't cut my hand off Wahhabists! – it was a terribly difficult bionic man thing to do which I have since lost the talent] I learnt that Africa was the most needy nation in the world as a fact now, and not just what my parents or TV may have told me. It was darn near impossible to win in that game if you based your empire to expand from Africa.

I learnt the art of diplomacy at a very early age and built a reputation for myself for never backstabbing anyone but instead being very crafty with terms of agreement – as was the case with 45 DIPLOMACY , the board-game I played a couple of times here in my home Aussie country.

I logically assumed Europe was the best nation to initiate World Peace someday as conquering the world was always easier when one started in Europe when you didn't have many players in the game (which was sometimes the case with us) – or was it the other way around? I forget…

Uniting Asia together as one brought the greatest satisfaction but it made me ponder as to whether everyone in this yellow coloured continent was indeed Asian – that made me inquire about the Russians, and some other nations too.

Ultimately I also learnt to be lazy in regards to reading since my older brother would read all the rules for everything and explain it to us (if only Dad had caught onto that). This has long changed, but I fear it set back 10 years of my life sometimes.

Mum was studying Arabic and may have aggrandized Saudi Arabia to me as she was planning to work as an air hostess for the nation if accepted. She told me about the Kings, and aircrafts owned by the majesty were everything was made of Gold inside, and more – no wonder I pursued a path that led me to study Oil & Gas Engineering in order to live in Saudi someday (heck, even Abdulgadir knew this)—in which prospects never came to fruition given my fear for Sharia Law; not onto myself but on a spouse I may attain or children if they turn out to be born gay/lesbian (which I would try my best to raise them straight) – and yes, gay Muslims/Saudis do exist here in Australia, which is pretty shocking how they need to leave the country (export them, don't execute them, we love culture here).

I do not feel like discussing my many outdoor ventures nor the instances in which I partook in picnics with friends, family, and social clubs or events of sorts. There is no madness or hilarity with picnics, only jolly good times! But at times it seems that even my sacred God & nation granted right for privacy sometimes has to be forsaken for an Utilitarian ideal or mayhap a Deontological perspective in which we first address the intentions of me wanting to disclose a story/tale or poem about a picnic – I can tell you now that the sole intention would be to get money! Mayhap a small donation, like I donated to Wikipedia the other day $346, to church sometimes, and then set aside ten percent of my total income to donate to Red Cross (Africa) I think47, plus an additional trivial amount to shout poorer mates on stuff when feasible and suitable – I hope to increase the amount I donate to 15% someday in homenage to AD&D2nd ed. Paladins – but ultimately how much money does one need?

The second question to ask in Deontology is what sorts of intentions makes my eBook(s) morally good? It is not necessarily the bringing of happiness but a motive of duty as encumbered from infancy to paint, smear and anoint in contrast to today's accomplishments of having my wasted academic talents turn into something useful other than watching TV, reading mindlessly, or hanging out with mates on my time off from work hoping that somehow I will meet someone not so shallow whom is adaptable to me who will entertain me to a greater extent than my male colleagues and friends (oh yeah, there is that thing adults do, it is called marriage I think ). Henceforth I am acting with morally good intentions if I disclose one measly story with many valid educative lessons about ethics and human folly along the way, am I not? Generation Z, or Alpha, may be growing up with higher aspects of virtue than the past before us. Not only because of technology and propagation of World Peace Ideals, but this through a very re-structure of books themselves. What I thought you may find interesting is that Paladins in Dungeons & Dragons 3rd ed. hold the following typical tenets; A Paladin must be always aiming to be the epitome of good, never wilfully commit an Evil act, cannot associate with anyone that persistently commits acts which would cause him/herself to fall50 (ie: evil people), must remain truthful and forthright at all times, must give fair warning and due quarter to enemies before harming them, and finally a Paladin may hold ill-founded gossip, subterfuge, backstabbing, and cowardly approaches as acts to be totally avoided. To me all this is not rational if taken to the strictest sense and I could not imagine many on this Earth being this perfect asides from Jesus of Nazareth—even if he performed no quantum miracles whatsoever, the miracle of 'Pure Altruism' to the extent of being a martyr is proof enough – after all, what kind of person gives fair warning to an enemy? I suppose it is possible if one is absolutely certain of victory and by giving a warning to an enemy he/she is building fear onto the other that in turn may change their heart before the actual strike so that it can all be avoided. But for that you would have to be somewhat omniscient or possessive of very advanced psychological skills to warrant that an evil incumbent is not simply deceiving you, as was the case of a friend of mine I somehow held onto for ten years despite him constantly betraying my trust and then bootlicking me only to take advantage of me time, and time again.

However, to the above usually long paragraph; Paladin's in later editions of Dungeons & Dragons (I have never sighted these books yet) encompass different religions to be supported by Paladin's51 as well as the advocation of fulfilling oaths in the latest 2014 edition, which I find a laugh as it coincides with the fact that ISIS, or Islamic Terrorists of sorts, or white/black/yellow/whatever race supremacy group that currently exists on this Earth is becoming more and more exposed on the news since the beginning of 2014 which, as a fundamental characteristic of them, causes worldly conflict through the adherence of three main categories of oaths52, this was highlighted in the game as being; Oath of Devotion, Oath of the Ancients, or finally an Oath of Vengeance as epitomised by Muslim radicals and white53 supremacy groups in the United States. Ahem, the pre-mentioned is a fictional role-playing game 'Paladin', and it may be fun to engage in such role playing if you are into the drama, media, acting and/or exploration side of things, as I do not consider it feasible for a standard person that fits below the norm, in say 'physical/social/spiritual capacity in regards to drama & imagination (for instance)',55 to reason life itself to such high levels of logic so as to warrant that good gets accomplished always. And that is why (Richard Dawkins) I attribute that humans have this inherent capacity to 'correctly' evaluate scenarios that they may regularly encounter so as to prosper an equitable ideal of something deemed contrary to the 'selfish gene theory'. In a sense altogether more nobler such as the 'altruist meme based mentality' or maybe even the plausible indication stating that 'Our Genes Want Us to Be Altruists' as inherent in humans, sometimes dormant. Biological Altruism has been much talked about and I am sure the first thing that a Dawkin's supporter would propose56 is that 'altruism needs selfish genes to evolve after all' – truth is no one ultimately knows the absolute truth but society prospers forwards, not backwards, which means we must be doing something altruistically right as evil itself is not self-sustainable (if it is then you have just justified hell! ď Œ).

Ok, all of the above was just a small segment of what children can learn from role-playing games, but in this process putting them at a detrimental situation where they may lose touch of reality a bit, and as to the hardships of the real world unseen in first world countries, as them, the players, are confined within a world within their minds which is utter bliss and without an adequate father figure he/she would be unable to adjust to certain matters that may clash into the incumbent's life later on (ie: drugs, sex, style, taste, culture, 51

I would suggest donating translated roleplaying games to poor African, Indian, or whatever impoverished nation accepts such an offer, so as to keep the kids out of the streets causing trouble and in turn inspire them with improved wisdom dating from the likes of Ancient Greece, or the vestiges of time, to as far as the imagination can go into the future through the futuristic role-playing games too!

Children would learn about evil versus good, they would become more passive and be at least actively reading to at least a bare minimum extent that would be essential to live a good life; enough to pursue their own ambitions through self study tenures if need be. I became so accustomed to learning, over the years at University level, that in a way (at times) I feel I have put myself at great impediment to actually securing a full time career whilst establishing some real romance in my life at the same time. As you can see from my website (if you read it this far which I doubt it) is that I am a reasonably attractive, smart, single guy, with a very particulate taste but not overly fussy when it comes to race… A bowabumbawow fate attraction would be nice to go along with persona, but it is so hard finding adaptable minded bi-gorgeous, un-abused, smart, good hearted, non-materialistic babes out there (not in my side of the world anyway). Reflecting back as to what I have written/typed over the last couple of weeks it indeed seems like a delusionary pipe dream that the intellectual likes of Sir Paul McCartney (he is my elder after all) would even consider granting me a scholarship to study further, mayhap in Oxford some kind of extensive etiquette program/course that presents a practical methodology for understanding cultural interaction in today's diverse and complex world. Going a step beyond the "dos" and "don'ts" of international customs to their underlying rationale and reasoning. I would love to examine the fundamental motivating factors for each major culture, and their subsequent rules of behaviour and in this process maybe build my confidence in public speaking 57. Not to mention the specific Chemical Engineering and Quantum and/or practical physics units I would like to study so as to have a good knowledge of materials/metals/polymers and their qualities so as to properly design structures alongside a team of engineers someday a long time away – if only I had the work experience and time left hey? I am a 36 year old man and I must type like a super wise 16 year old58!

It was not uncommon for him to carry forth motions any further in persistence to sight and gaze upon her naked body, but as an English gentleman to be, he copped the final stab to his heart, for indeed his emotions and corporeal self had been ravishingly been raped once again. Through deed, act, cause and effect primarily due to her expedition to use many others along her solitary crusade she called (so I paranoically in 'jokiness' thought), in an illbegetting manner (so as to induce men to become children once more), as a way to find the man for her. It was indeed a tour de force that kept him functioning with improvised defence despite letting all his fortified & preventive safeguarding instinct melt away due to a submission in trust. They stared deep into each other's eyes at one point as she hath asked him on a most passive casual manner, 'how are you going to make it work?'. 'I don't know, I am unclear, and I have no plan! I just know that it will happen!', replied he to her noble question by which time a smile had accrued in her face as she realised it was him… But what kept that little charade of hers going? It was nothing but an accrued force of habit she accumulated through a lifetime of tormenting others – oh' I know not how to phrase this tale so well so as to encompass so many different stories in but one tale of sorrow. He wasn't dead, they were lifeless, and without life on their path he could not animate his spirit – hath he become a living dead? Or was it just that he fell in a state of sentient torpor awaiting to be awoken operating on 'automatic' mode like in the movie 'Click'? 59 – indeed how sorrowful because in this show of life there is no third chances as such.

Are we dead? Are we alive? I am, therefore I think, and to think begets life; I live… She lives… They live… But that particular thing on the ground doesn't live! :-/ Is your heart set in stone?62 What's so hard at giving credence that an alien like being may exist that is bound by the boundaries and limitations of a different set of string theory that does not interact with our matter in this space (in relative terms: dark matter, dark energy, ether, the aether63, or what not, or what yes!) – have you ever pondered as to the actual physical size of matter considering all of it in the entire universe could at one point fit in a vestibular equitable form of infinite density no bigger than a pinhead? I feared daily that if she would hide something from a divine love relationship that indeed it would one day (at great pain to myself also) drive her to the edges of her sanity as she would be entrapped within her very own mind in a burst of tears of sadness forever and ever in her deluded perspective. Shhhh, life is good ahead if you but realise that sensibility is within human nature – and in this process regard a certain intellectual atheist of venerable respectful age as nothing but a foolish, yet wise, man fulfilling his destiny as God intended for the greater good of all. A 'portal' in Fantasy & Sci-Fi is a magical or technological doorway that may transport one to a different location within the universe (through a distortion of the fabric of space – or akin to quantum teleportation), the past or future as a time portal (if 'pre-ordained' by a higher life so no paradoxes are formed, aka. by God) or other planes of existence as postulated by notions of heaven or afterlives to be. It may be representative of a connection between two separate points in spacetime, or in my case with 'Pierre' it just represented a swap in desired goals in life – Pierre badly wanted to be a poet but I am led to believe he gave up on the notion, whereas I am barely a poet at all with only the eBook 'Percarus' being my poetic compilation(s) so far (I would like you to believe) and I loathe writing poetry myself for it requires disclosure of emotions, oh' so icky!

She thinks an extra dimension may exist close to our familiar reality, hidden except for a bizarre sapping of the strength of gravity as we see it. There is the 'seen' world and there is the 'unseen' world. And when you’re addressing a person who is ill, you have to tap into all of this. Ref.28 The Catholic rite for a formal exorcism, called a "Major Exorcism", is given in Section 11 of the Rituale Romanum. The Ritual lists special guidelines for conducting an exorcism, and also for determining when a formal exorcism is ultimately a necessity. Clergy/priests are instructed to thoughtfully ascertain that the nature of the 'condition' is not in actual fact a psychological or physical illness before proceeding. Catholic officials consider demonic possession as an EXTREMELLY rare phenomenon (as do I and most Christians & Theists, but we DO NOT disbelieve it) that could be misinterpreted quite easily as just a natural mental disturbance or vice versa. Psychological guidance is most often what is needed when one is seemingly disturbed. But on a different note, it would be very foolish to dismiss the notion of guardian angelic entities (higher life forces) of which may in a way oversee one's soul and life trajectory in such a manner that when they swap jurisdiction over a given incumbents' life path then 'paranormal' occurrences could be seen as manifested through interaction to our direct physical plane of existence – not everyone is perfect and even higher life could be prone to mistakes. It is quite plausible that 'Silas'66, assistant to apostle Paul as dictated in the bible, did aide the former in his missionary and evangelistic deeds through acts of exorcism.

In respect to Chinese myth/hearsay, is that the 'fauna of mirrors' is a concept that suggested that behind every mirror was an entirely different world and upon entering such a universe, through the mirror, nothing was quite exactly the same. Of course, for the theory to be conceptualised into real fact one would need a special kind of mirror and not just any mirror which merely acts as a 'bouncer' of photons. Quoting Jorge Luis Borges from 'The Book of Imaginary Beings': "One night the mirror people invaded the earth. XX. Romance & Romanticism

rban slang would dictate a romantic person to be somewhat utopian in nature, fanciful, and adhere to some ideals as dictated by romanticism as akin to a philosophy of life.

Romantics have a tendency to get carried away by noble ideas and tend to love churches, theology, poetry, castles + beauty. To this very notion, whether positive or negative, it is claimed that the majority of the original 'romantics' not only stood up for their beliefs but also greatly helped England (I do not know exactly why that is). What often comes to mind is gallant or courtly gentlemen (chevaliers/knights) that are originally from a noble birth trained to arms and chivalry whilst showing courtesy to women (in due sense). These knights/chevaliers may have paved forth a notion of romantic love, as popularized by the West, which engaged the incumbents in semi-platonic relationships with the women of nobility of which they served at times. The theories of etiquette, as derived from chivalry, are pretty much limited in scope to LĂŠon Gautier's ten commandments, in his 'La Chevalerie', published in 1883 and summarized below: [Feel free to skip reading this list]

1) Believe the Church's teachings and observe all the Church's directions.

2) Defend the Church.

3) Respect and defend all weaknesses.

4) Love your country.

5) Thou shalt not recoil before thine enemy.

6) Show no mercy to the infidel. Do not hesitate to make war67 with them.

7) Perform all your feudal duties as long as they do not conflict with the laws of God. 8) Never lie or go back on one's word.

9) Be generous to everyone.

10) Always and everywhere be right and good against evil and injustice. Ref.29 I find it highly unlikely for someone to be able to obey all of LĂŠon's archaic doctrines to the bone in this modern age unless the individual is able to justify each one of its mandates from a very rational sense of mind. This in a manner of which sufficient inherent wisdom is present so as to be able to discern the extraordinary circumstances as to when a mandate should/can be breached. There is a long established list on the rules of courtly love68 as highlighted on the link; I do not agree with all its mandates and am not about to list here the ones I do agree with as mayhap it is none of your business, but it does give an indication to the effects it may have impacted relationships of old.

Ahem, courtly love was ultimately a perceived self-contradiction in concept that involved a participation of spiritual enlightenment and erotic desire. How can one, when it comes to love, stay; passionate whilst disciplined, human and transcendent, humiliated but 67 68

triumphantly totally appeased, and in the end be illicit whilst morally elevated? Well, that is the idea of courtly love and I have to be frank of you that I already had such an experience in life not too long ago (several years) of which, for a laugh, I attempted to make myself worthy of a presumed damsel by acting bravely and nobly in the process of doing all the right things she may have expected of me by, in this process, subjecting myself to a series of ordeals to prove my commitment plus ardour as highlighted below: 1) 2) 3) 4) 5) 6)

Attraction to the lady, usually via eyes/glance – done Worship of the lady from afar – done Declaration of passionate devotion – done Virtuous rejection by the lady – done Renewed wooing with oaths of virtue and eternal fealty – pretty much Moans of approaching death from unsatisfied desire (and other physical manifestations of lovesickness) – it seemed to be the case 7) Heroic deeds of valour which win the lady's heart – in a comical manner, yeah 8) Consummation of the secret love – failed or to be awaited 9) Endless adventures and subterfuges avoiding detection – to be awaited, but subterfuges are not exactly desired in my part. Ref.30 I would not recommend for any man to lower himself to the pits of tremendous emotions that that are involved in courtly love because you may end up choosing just the right b#tch that makes life hell for you. The process of transcendence that exalts you above the emotions normally felt by a normal individual/person may in fact be granted to you by an observing higher deity in your quest for courtly love as I would suppose life, in the unseen world (mayhap God itself), would enjoy seeing an interplay between characters as they move their pawn pieces on this global chessboard they may call Earth. The term 'courtly love' was first popularized by Gaston Paris in 1883, and has since come under a wide variety of definitions and uses, even being dismissed as nothing more than nineteenthcentury romantic(-ism) fiction – but if the latter is the case I must be frank that I almost made it come real, thanks to Cannabis (don't smoke Cannabis when in love, or at all). Some may claim that the lover accepts the independence of his mistress to a certain extent and in this process tries to make himself worthy of her by acting bravely plus honourably by doing whatever deeds she might desire (within reason), subjecting himself ('herself', in the case of lesbian courtly love) to a series of tests/ordeals to prove to her his/her ardour and commitment.

Romanticism accentuated impressive and acute feelings as an authoritative credible and legitimate fountain of aesthetic experience putting emphasis on emotions such as awe, apprehension as well as horror and terror69 (this as epitomized through the 'arts' as conveyers of emotions). —But of equal merit to aesthetic experience was the beauty and appreciation of nature just insomuch as the sublime notions as ascertained by the ancients such as qualities of greatness in; artistic, intellectual, metaphysical, moral, physical, or spiritual fields. Romanticism tried to conceptualize the ultimate beauty ideals beyond 69

normal access as encompassed by pushing forth the notions of one's imagination beyond to what could be readily calculated, imitated, or measured.

Romanticism first showed itself in landscape paintings since the 1760s as British artists started a drift in painting styles towards landscapes and variations of weather/climate alongside a fondness for Gothic architecture – of which is something I am sure Michelangelo would have loathed ought he have lived two additional centuries to witness this drift in appreciative aesthetics. I too was heavily in love with Gothic art throughout most of my life, until I understood Michelangelo's stance on it by reading some books – I don't loathe it, I just become over analytical of Gothic art if I am to stare at it. The romanticized trend was to paint very large apocalyptic history paintings paving forth the assertion of nationalism to a great extent – a central concept/theme in romantic philosophy and art.

These paintings often included insertions of divine wrath, disasters, and extreme natural events so as to display the full magnificent beauty of emotive aspects associated with life itself. 'The Raft of the Medusa' (an icon in French Romanticism), by Théodore Géricault, apparently set a benchmark in ideal for the romanticists but I personally have seen more awe inspiring paintings/art-work in role-playing books of youth in gist (since it combined the aspect of involvement). I never made it to the Louvre in Paris as intended due to Katherine's fit of jealousy several years back, this given I missed my trip because she made some fake allegations to the police which held me back in custody with a clause I was not able to rebuke so as to get a full refund (which I was entitled to). No matter, maybe one day – perhaps then I will appreciate this sensationalistic painting a bit more than I would have previously.

In accordance with all my poetic works, expressive spiels, and a lot of what I do (except real serious stuff), I tend to act out of spontaneity in order to best express my heart – this is a typical trait of Romanticism, one of which I may be slowly drifting away from. One thing Romanticism did do during its time (roughly 1780-1850 AD) was revive medievalism (hurray!) but this was only probably done so as to escape from the perceived ugliness associated with industrialism and growing poverty, I would presume. But in stark contrast it did consider ancient indigenous/tribal customs and folk art to be noble statuses, the latter of which has me puzzled because it abstains from all traditional rules of perspective and proportion as established by the ancients and later refined through time. I have a high regard for the Classicist and rational ideal models (which romanticism distances itself away from) and I would presume that romanticism attempts to convolute beauty itself in a process of adopting higher complexity, greater intellect, and seemingly utopian ideals that

simply cannot be quantified as the Classicists, or Michelangelo himself, would have seen as essential.

The Romanticist movement was prompted forward by the "Storm and Drive" (Sturm und Drang, 1760s-1780s AD) German movement which in contrast to a preference for Enlightenment and rationalism encapsulated more emotion and intuition – evolving from the early Baroque movement, but I am not here to give you a lesson about art (I just wish that the thief that stole ALL my books would come forward). The upheaval of the 'French Revolution' (1789-1799 AD) set in foot the Romanticism period, of which by now I understand why I was so obsessed about going to France someday since a toddler. I guess I admired those Gothic castles in the back of my mother's many books, I admired knights, aspects pertaining to nobility in addition to fair causes, and heroic tales where a high value was placed on the effects of individualists whose examples would boost the standard of society itself (through cartoons, movies, comic strips & such). I really admired France hey, so much that I studied French for a semester in High School by overloading on early morning classes as an additional unit; not that I want to be a Frenchman, heck no, but the concept of cavaliers/chevaliers/knights70 as pertained to romances between a man and a woman, from what little I knew, intrigued me – everyone must have thought similarly at one point if influenced by fairy tales or media as a child so as to warrant heterosexual behaviour. And heck, two of my favourite foods are from France, but my TEE art teacher in High School (Mr Gates) seemed to portray a different image of France than I had envisaged so I guess I may be up for some disappointment.

But on the topic of love, as associated with romance, Romanticism, Paris, and life in general… The preliminary burst of hormones that induce the strong emotion of love slowly fades away within a few months. Afterwards daily emotions are momentary reflexes to physical aspects, hormone decline as associated with the categorical imperative, a fading of memories and change of thoughts/ideals as per given new inputs that may arise. However, if one's values align exactly to the notion of an associated new love (and I see values, once firmly established, very hard to change) then temporary variations of discomfort from distancing oneself from real love (such as pleasure, convenience, status, intimacy, and emotional attachment) can be overcome. You see, values, in perspective, are ultimately stable over time and supported by a sense of character whilst feelings (such as love) may create a temporary importance whereas values provide a lasting meaning and purpose in life. Emotions may construct eternal relationships but it is values that sustains them. The mighty power of love derives itself not from its feelings but from its values.

Brene Brown was highlighted on giving the best definition of love as: "An intangible connection between two people that feels exceptionally good." Ref.31

Every household typically has one and no home would be utterly complete without one. In this digital age we fast replaced the usage of snail mail by using electronic mailing addresses and hence it is no surprise that we are witnessing the collapse of the traditional letter delivery business.

Previously a monopolistic authorization to stamp new money, the era of the internet has witnessed a decline for its core letter utility/shipment business by seeing a collapse in services by 30%, this within the Australian segment (impact could be greater in the United States). AusPost has sought to innovate itself since 2010 with very limited success, for instance, in 2012 they launched 'MyPost Digital Mailbox' which sought to offer customers a secure way to pay bills similar to 'Bpay' (note, these links will probably become obsolete soon – if so it's because they failed) with only partial success. By doing this they are faced with a 'late mover' disadvantage and face the direful ultimate competition against banks both locally & abroad and PayPal, whose global scope in their own selves frightens the government postal service. The problem for them is that AusPost has a certain community service obligation and given many of Australia's regional communities are in rural and remote areas a financial deadweight is placed onto Australia's postal service. It would be erroneous to sell the profitable parcel business as it is foreseen that in the near future mayhap most purchases could be conducted via the internet, thus still requiring some form of physical delivery.

I enjoy sending letters by snail mail, call me old school, but some things are best divulged in material form, like letters to close ones, matters of emotional nature, and most of all Valentine cards – the latter being something I never sent to anyone nor received as to date, primarily because I did not know the postal address of intended targets. I am still hopeful of receiving a letter from something as trivially silly as a Valentine's card before its significance becomes too juvenile for someone at a later age. Valentine's day by itself being representative of a Christian saint named 'Valentinus' who in turn performed weddings for soldiers forbidden to marry – in legend he healed the daughter of his jailer and before his executionary demise an embellishment to the tale dictates he wrote her a letter signed, 'Your Valentine' – how appropriate since numerous Christian martyrs were named Valentine.

But that in itself has little relevance to letterboxes except that it does give credence to courtly love in which the concept of Valentine's tradition is said to have started in 18 th century England in the social circle of Geoffrey Chaucer (the father of English literature).

What I have to remind David, by mentioning Valentine, are some remaining associations with the saint with the advent of Spring (he promised to fulfil all his debt obligations on the 1st day of the season).

In regards to letterboxes, humans have a natural tendency to form strong bonds with each other through social interactions which could entail verbal exchange or nonverbal gestures,

such as physical letters most notably (for that extra charm), especially for such pansy notions as dictated by romantic love. But in relevance to the last topic of discussion it is interesting to notice that prior the 18th century marriages were not insomuch arranged but erupted more out of spontaneous relationships – what the hell is love then?

My letterbox system is comprised of a centralized mail delivery station consisting of individual mailboxes for the entire building, for such is the lifestyle for apartment community complexes. There are restrictions on sending foodstuffs and perishable foods through Australian post. I believe it is in section D10.5 of the Australia Post dangerous and prohibited goods guide. Also section 10.8 refers to sending fruit and vegetable products.

Australia Post have a letter rate guide which is a large piece of cardboard which shows how big and how thick a small, medium and large Australia Post letter can be. There are no other requirements for a letter. You can rock up to your local post office and ask for one or simply call them if residing overseas! If you send it as a LARGE LETTER71, then it can be up to 20mm thick, and the postal service apparently can easily detect if the package entails something other than documents even if it fits the dimension criteria, I think. Also, letters are processed using automated machinery, so your packaging must be tough enough to withstand that. If you used tough bags or bubble mailers, then you'd be fine. Ahem, some Australian states also have their own Quarantine regulations (ie: I can't send dried chillies to my sister in Victoria in a bid to burn her !). And not to forget, here in WA we certainly have Beagles (aka. sniffer dogs or similar) that check for fruit and other prohibited products.

Snail mail continues to be the IDEAL means to explore the art of handwritten correspondence and it can be easily conceptualised, plus expressively demonstrated how to romance someone the old-school way through love-letters by learning the etiquette of thank you cards, and discovering how to take time to reflect on one's life through the art of writing rather than typing. If you desire to learn how to improve and celebrate your own handwriting; how to choose paper or even make your own (like one Uncle of mine does); how to make personalised stickers and stamps; or how to prepare a care package for friends and loved ones who need some 'tender loving care' (TLC) and how to make beautiful 'do it yourself' (DIY) invitations, I would then suggest you purchase the book, "Snail Mail: Celebrating the Art of Handwritten Correspondence – by: Michelle Mackintosh" – I just heard some good reviews about it. In a world of internet trolls, character limits, Snapchats, seemingly unlimited phone bandwidth and textspeak, are we losing the ability to really communicate with our loved ones? I am sure those are questions Ms Mackintosh can answer to bring out the girl in you – there is no way I am buying that book (since it could cost me my masculinity) but I wouldn't mind a peek if someone showed it to me 72.

When uncommitted to someone, as I am an extremely loyal and faithful person, I do tend to fall in love rather easily (as do most people), and it is amazing to realize that a simple well devised letter could have an impact on any given individual's life. Unlike my mate Patrick AlSamarrie who is a player and just wants to crudely, 'get his dick wet', I seek passion! Finale!

About the Author Not much to say really… If you had the opportunity to read some of Lex's publications you may know that he is a liberal Presbyterian – and hence very much God loving, insomuch as any other Christian is a guess. Lex has gone through some hard times but then again who hasn't. Countless people suffer immensely in impoverished conditions in developing nations and it is hoped that if at least some of their labour burdens were lifted off, thence sanctioned as priority issues to tackle for sustainable progress in this world, then they may have more time to read, socialize, and expand their social & intellectual repertoire for general wellbeing instead of being treated inhumanely.

Lex does understand that economic growth across emerging markets has been scorching since 2000 (with India + China at >10% a year), and from his observance of life he believes lack of aide to needy countries results from a lack of connectivity to individuals on an intellectual level to its citizens – so let's immerse them with the 'web' and industries!
