The college’s Office of Student Services supports each student’s academic pursuits through advisement, tutoring support, academic coaching, and other resources across the University� Regardless of the program or its delivery modality, each student is assigned an advisor to assist them through their academic program� We encourage students to meet their advisors, seek learning opportunities, attend professional events, and build relationships with fellow students, faculty, and staff�

WaveNet and My Community
Pepperdine’s student system portal is found at wavenet.pepperdine.edu� Through WaveNet, students can access email, enroll in classes, view grades, contact their advisor, request transcripts, access the learning management system, and more� Pepperdine uses a campus-wide identification number (CWID) as a numeric identifier for your student records� Be sure to use your CWID in correspondence with the University as well as your Pepperdine email address for all electronic communications

Student Services
ACADEMIC ADVISEMENT
Academic advising at the College of Health Science is a collaborative process focused on students’ success� Our advisors work closely with students to help them make informed decisions about their academic paths, connect with opportunities, and stay on track for graduation� Students are encouraged to request individualized advisement appointments with their academic advisor whenever they have questions regarding their academic program or student record�
CLASS REGISTRATION
Malibu Students: Students taking courses in Malibu will be preregistered into a set of foundational courses curated to ensure alignment with general education and nursing program requirements� This approach helps reduce the stress of course selection during onboarding Beginning in their second semester at Seaver College, BSN students will be responsible for self-enrolling in nonnursing or Core and elective courses with guidance from advisors
Calabasas and Online Students: Students studying in Calabasas and online will progress through a cohort model, following a prescribed sequence of courses aligned with their program’s curriculum requirements� Courses must be taken in the designated order, as changes may impact academic progression and delay graduation Students will be registered for their courses each term by the college’s Student Services team
DEGREE PROGRESS
Students can track academic progress through the Degree Audit Report (DAR) in WaveNet Your DAR confirms which classes you have completed, are in the process of completing, and which are left to complete your degree For curriculum questions, consult the College of Health Science Academic Catalog applicable to your term of entry.

TRANSCRIPTS/ENROLLMENT VERIFICATIONS
Current students can view transcripts free of charge or order official transcripts through WaveNet by selecting the “Academics” button and then “View Unofficial Transcripts” or “Order Transcript/Verification ” Processed transcripts are $10 per copy Enrollment verification is processed for the current term after the add/drop period; the University reports enrollment to the National Student Clearinghouse each term

ACADEMIC SUPPORT
The College of Health Science provides personalized academic resources in person and online� Tutoring services include subject-specific support, writing assistance, academic coaching, and access to simulation labs for hands-on learning, such as skill-development coaching (e�g�, inserting an IV)� Sessions are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis�
Student Financials
FINANCIAL AID
Financial aid awards are based on an analysis of eligibility and enrollment status� Students must reapply for financial aid before the start of each aid year� To receive a Federal Stafford Loan, students must be enrolled half time; for institutional grants or scholarships, students must be enrolled full time in coursework�

STUDENT ACCOUNTS
Students are responsible for anticipating total tuition and fee charges and should be prepared to make payment on or before the first day of the term� Finance charges are assessed if arrangements are not completed by the last day of the add/drop period� To review account activity, log into WaveNet and select the “Finances” button�
Refund Policy:
• Students may drop classes without tuition penalty during the add/drop period only
• If all classes are dropped after initial registration through the last day of add/ drop, a charge of $150 is assessed�
• Withdrawals after the add/drop period are subject to the partial tuition refund policy�

Student Employment
The College of Health Science is committed to preparing students for healthcare careers through hands-on clinical training, faculty mentors, and career-focused events like employer panels and career fairs
CLINICAL PLACEMENTS
Clinical placements allow students to apply classroom knowledge under the supervision of faculty and licensed professionals in hospitals, clinics, and community health organizations These are essential for developing clinical competencies and reaching licensure Placements are assigned based on program requirements and clinical site availability�
