Sunday November, 21st , 2010 Arrivals at Riga airport: Italy, Romania, Poland, Slovakia, Turkey. Journey to the centre of city. Check-in at the “Old City Boutique Hotel” in Riga. Monday November, 22nd , 2010 Breakfast at hotel. 9.00 Pick-up at hotel. Travelling to Rudbarzi. 12.00 Check-in at the hotel “Kalnamuiza” at Rudbarzi. 12.00 Arrival at Rudbarzi hotel: Lithuania (by car). 12.45 Pick-up at hotel and journey to Rudbarzi school. 13.00 Lunch at school. 14.00 Reception at the “Oskara Kalpaka Rudbarzu” primary school. 14.45 Guided tour of the building. 15.15 Coffee break. 15.45 Meeting: Presentation of visit programme. 16.15 Meeting: Presentation of each partner school. 18.00 Pick-up at school and journey to Rudbarzi hotel. 18.15 Time to relax at hotel. 19.15 Pick-up at the hotel and journey to Rudbarzi school. 19.30 Dinner at school. Activity at school hall: acquaintance with one song and one game from each country, involving in activities all partners (a home work for representatives of each partner school!) Schedule for the Comenius partnership visit to Latvia / November 2010 Tuesday November, 23rd Breakfast at hotel. 8.15 Pick-up at hotel and journey to Rudbarzi school. 8.30-10.00 Work session: Here are some jobs we have found described on project application to discuss in Latvia (the expected project results are underlined): “Surveys will be conducted in the classrooms so that students can communicate what their expectations and interests are concerning the discovery of different European realities”. ,,PowerPoint presentations by pupils of local contextual information for sharing with partner institutions”. “Exchange of cultural information presentation collected by each partner using ICT”. “Students and teachers introduce themselves by email and on school websites. Launching the project’s website”. “Children will be studying their local history and environment and presenting their findings on the project’s website. This will be an introduction; a way of learning more about each other”. “Partner schools’ surroundings are presented on websites including drawings, photos, maps etc.” Coordinator (Ceren) suggests discussing: “Distribution of the working programme of the first year. General agreements about the proposed activities, objectives, methology of the project. Presentation of ideas given by the teachers. Review of the work done until the moment by each participant. Organising cooperation between participating schools. Agreements on pupils’ involvement. Presentation of the strategies of integration of the project into learning and other ongoing activities in every school”.

Time to relax after a long day. 24th of November Breakfast at hotel. Pick-up at hotel and journey to Rudbarzi school. Visit in a classroom/ lesson according to your wishes. Guided tour of Rudbarzi village. Coffee break. Questions to Latvian teachers. Journey to Liepaja town. Exploring of the natural and cultural heritage of the Liepaja town. Lunch at a restaurant. Free time. Journey back to Rudbarzi hotel. Time to relax at hotel. Dinner and Latvian folk dancing party at Rudbarzi hotel.

Coordinator (Turkey) suggests discussing: “Review of the strategies of dissemination and use of the results, experiences and products to be performed by partnership. Fixing the definite dates of the meetings. Evaluation of the work done until the moment. Last suggestions and doubts.”

Things to bring to Latvia: Ideas and suggestions for organizing of work with project. MS PowerPoint presentation of each partner school. Project logo designs (if on this matter isn’t another proposal). As Ceren suggested (at the letter of 8th of September) – “our thinkers sayings related to peace, and works of some writers”, At least one song and one game from each country, to teach to other partners at the evening of the 22nd of November. A pair of goo shoes for walking during exploring of the natural and cultural heritage at towns. Good mood! At many shops you can use credit cards. The booked hotel in Riga accepts cash (euro or lats) and VISA, MasterCard credit cards, but does not accept American Express and Diners Club.
