Research shows that incorporating coaching into leadership development programmes has a profound, positive impact. So much so that a recent CIPD survey (2013) showed that 90% of 593 organisations made use of coaching in some form. Why does it work? Coachees enjoy the reflective space, greater selfawareness, ability to take responsibility for their development and the learning that coaching offers. Our bite-size methodology is based on rigorous psychological and business research about the way people learn and, importantly, what makes that learning stick. Bite-size learning focuses on helping people learn and solve problems in manageable chunks. The focus is on the transfer of learning and putting new skills into practice. It targets not only the learners, but their managers, peers and the business context in which they apply what they learn. It focuses on a continuous cycle of three distinct phases – Engage, Learn and Activate.

Our STAR Coaching Academy is a centre of excellence and expertise in coaching. We build coaching capability and credibility to enable coaches, managers and HR professionals to optimise the performance of others. We also have a world class team of ICF accredited coaches working with organisations and individuals to enable sustainable change.

COACH TRAINING Our flagstaff public and inhouse training courses are aimed at individuals who want to become independent professional coaches, internal coaches, or who just want to develop coaching skills for use in their role.

COACHING IN ORGANISATIONS We bespoke our flagstaff courses to meet the specific needs of organisations who want to build internal coaching capability, whether to upskill HR professionals, improve manager capability, for development and giving feedback, or simply to improve communication.
