A greeting from People’s President & CEO. These are unusual times for our state, our country and the world. At People’s Credit Union, we have been managing through the uncertainty of the pandemic crisis while also experiencing a significant refinance boom caused by falling mortgage rates. Your People’s team has risen to the occasion. As we have had to adapt to these challenges and changing realities, our primary focus has been on how do we continue to deliver our excellent member service while maintaining the health and safety of our employees. Although the branch lobby closures and hours change may have caused some inconvenience, these changes allowed us to accomplish both of those goals. We have delivered for our members with loan payment extensions, fee relief, and our participation in the Small Business Administration’s Paycheck Protection Program. We moved +90% of our operational support staff to working from home in just one week with minimal impact. This work is on top of the “normal” credit union services that we deliver every day. All of this has been achieved by the People’s Credit Union team coming together to identify creative solutions and jumping in to support each other wherever needed. I am inspired by what our team has accomplished and am confident that we will continue to deliver for our members through this crisis as well as other challenges in the future. Wishing you and your families continued good health.
Sean Daly President & CEO
Thank you for your support and encouragement. While we realize that closing the branch lobbies has been an inconvenience, we felt that it was in the best interest of our members, staff and communities to do so. The positive comments and words of encouragement that members have shared with us are appreciated. And remind us how fortunate we are to have the members we do. We look forward to returning to "business as usual" and we will do so as soon as we possibly can.
