A look, an expression, the light, a concept. The capability to merge all these elements and obtain a synthesis of them can make an image of a visage more than a simple photo. A portrait should create a relationship between the subject and the observer, so you can see the point of view of the photographer, his way to interpret the moment, actually, he becomes the hidden subject of the image and his presence should be tangible.
