Julia Hudson, Co-Founder & CEO
Our Story
Julia Hudson, a Rhode Island native, began her professional journey at Rockpoint Group, a Boston-based real estate private equity firm. She then excelled in the hospitality industry in San Francisco, where she honed her skills in decision-making, quick-thinking, and goal prioritization alongside leadership. Julia's next chapter led her to BrightRoll, a programmatic video advertising platform, where she provided support to the CEO and the C-suite team.
Lisa Casson, originally from Minneapolis, has a background working in professional sports, event marketing, and technology. Her true passion emerged while working in the Bay Area, as an assistant to the CEO of Yahoo. Supporting the Yahoo team through milestones such as product launches, mergers and acquisitions, board and shareholder meetings, and talent onboarding, Lisa discovered her joy of being the right hand and confidante to the CEO and her leadership team.
Shortly after Yahoo’s acquisition of BrightRoll in 2014, Julia joined Lisa in a role alongside the CEO of Yahoo, Marissa Mayer. Julia and Lisa served as co-Executive Assistants and were Liaisons to the Board of Directors. This partnership experience forged a powerful bond between the two, shaping their shared philosophy and appreciation for their business, executives, clients, and their peer-level support network.
The establishment of Pennyworth, a boutique firm specializing in matching high-level executives and prominent figures with expert support, was a natural progression for the duo. Their firsthand experiences and understanding of the skills, personalities, and unique needs of executives led them to create a firm focused on personalized matches. Pennyworth offers tailored solutions to enable their clients to prosper in all aspects of their lives. With over three decades of combined experience in the field, Lisa and Julia help their clients not only succeed, but thrive - both personally and professionally.
