AHEAD Announces Strategic Partnership with Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund
Affordable Housing, Education and Development (AHEAD) announces a new partnership with the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund of the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to support and advance potential development projects throughout New Hampshire’s north country. The primary focus of this partnership is to support regional stakeholders and partners looking to develop housing and other community projects in Coös Counties (and surrounding towns).
AHEAD has recently experienced a dramatic increase in requests for development support from other non-profits, community groups, private landowners, and developers as they try to advance projects in their communities. Many of these projects are housing related and the support provided could include identifying qualified consultants or funding opportunities, drafting request for proposals, reviewing or drafting pro formas and budgets, site identification or coordinating outside resources and funders.
“The demands on our limited resources from these requests was becoming greater and greater, outside support was becoming necessary for AHEAD to be able to continue its development consulting,” says Harrison Kanzler, AHEAD’s Executive Director.
That’s where the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund stepped in to help fund these in-demand pre-development services.
