François Thibault, a former Cognac Maître de Chai (cellar master), set out to create Grey Goose in Cognac, the home of luxury brown spirits. François had a vision for a vodka with true taste and character: a liquid that could be savoured in the manner of a fine Cognac, but that was flexible enough to form the base spirit for a multitude of cocktails. The product was designed using a unique production process, where a single filtration and distillation allowed the distinctive flavours of the wheat to be expressed. Finally, he introduced a hand-picked tasting panel alongside over 500 quality checks, to ensure that every drop of Grey Goose was made to his exacting standards. The result is a vodka with a unique character that has become famous the world over.
