Once upon a time were five furious dragons. Each with a special power beyond

imagination. Will they make it past DRAGON Academy... to the tournament...will they make it through friend problems....to get on the same team. And make it past dragon hunters on the way...find out on a new series of Dragon Academy. THE TOURNAMENT.

CHAPTER 1

"Wake up Breeze... we've got a big day today to go to Dragon

academy" said Breezes mother. "I'm so excited to try out for the school"said Breeze.

"Yes but first you have to get ready and get up"said Breezes mother. Breeze was excited

but nervous at the same time. She didn't know what to expect from the judges. She

knew that it would be tough but that she would have a chance at getting in.

"And you can't wear purple scales Breeze". Breeze was still

upset that her herd couldn't make it to the DRAGON Academy try outs. But she new her

friends hade come...she felt it.

CHAPTER 2

"Wake up Quake today is dragon Academy" said Quakes mom.

Quake was very nervous "I'm so sure I'll get in "said Quake "now Quake don't get your hopes up" said Quakes mom then she left. Quake was hoping that Breeze,Charcole,Shadow and

Stormbolt were going to be their with him to cheer him on.He didn't know what to do to show them he was fit.

CHAPTER 3

I couldn't believe it I was going to a school and staying there.

I hadn't stayed at a school for about ahhhh 2 weeks at least but my friends know that I would be there so ya. Stormbolt was my best friend but Breeze is two. Shadow was on his way to the tryouts but very nervous. They all had

to show a talent and fight a grion from Grionsdale. The school was frightening

as ever but Shadow doesn't know that bullies lie right around the corner... their

many threats at Dragon Academy like every living dark dragons that want to use

their magic.....for dark.

"CHARCOLE WAKE UP BUDDY"said Charcoles father.

"Yep got it croc"said Charcole. Charcole was almost always late. His mother

died when he was young. He was very prepared for what came next in his life.

He was strong and loved breathing fire at the table. He was flying with his father

to the school meanwhile Charcole was hoping to see Quake and Shadow

there. He didn't care about Stormbolt as much but still loved Breeze.

CHAPTER 4

CHAPTER 5

"Wake up Stormbolt"said Stormbolts mom . It was her first day at dragon academy. "No mom" said Stormbolt . Her dad and mom separated when she was one.

Her and her mom don't get along well. So she left alone .She didn't do well with storms she didn't think she would get in so she practiced on the way. She didn't get along with Charcole

very well. Or Breeze,Breeze always loved and protected Charcole if she didn't do that stormbolt would like her.

CHAPTER 6

Breeze was excited when she got there because

she saw Stormbolt there two. She was so exited but nervous umm nervousided.

She didn't know what talent she would perform she thought super flight but then she found it. She would perform a dangerous obstacle. Very dangerous. Then they started calling out names for the tryouts. First Breeze Wind. Ready and please perform your talent. Go!.

CHAPTER 7

" Alright Quake were going to earth grounds for try outs " said Quakes dad.

" First up is Quake for earth group"said the judge. Quake was going to make an earthquake that's what he could do best that's why his name was Quake . Quake started getting nervous the air felt cold his head felt warm his stomach flipped and flopped over and over again. ÂżWhat will he do ?. "Go"said the judges......

CHAPTER 8

Breeze zoomed and bolted from the starting line. She was

on fire! She went through fire first then dodged wreaking balls and arrows.

she went as high as she could fly and did a dive boom through snapping gates fire and

arrows. The judges marked the score with open eyes...she knew she did good but did she make it. She didn't know how much time it took. It was only a few minutes before she fights the Grion. They told her to go onto the air spawning grounds. So she quickly bolted up there ready

to start when she heard a roar...the Griffon jumped right over to her but she was quick and dodged it. She bolted at a great blow that knocked the Griffon out of the air with a thud. She quickly turned and defeated him in a simple wind blow of her wing.

CHAPTER 9

Quake starts his earthquake with a little rumble in the ground it got bigger every second till it was really huge he said "this is more than I did before " said Quake. Stoping the earthquake from destroying the earth grounds. Then it was time to fight the Griffon. Quake spiraled to were the Griffon was causing it to fly then he threw a giant gigantic....... ball of leaves( but secretly it was mud underneath the leaves)

CHAPTER 10

-Charcole are you ready-said Charcoles mother wile landing at the school.

Charcole giggled and said -well ya I am why am I not handsome enough-then he bolted of to the fire grounds finding them just about to call his name. Charcole was going to burn the feathers of a live Phoenix without killing it. Charcole thought this was enough but was his barely trying enough to get him in the school?no one new. -Charcole please take your spot and pull out your Phoenix-said the judges. Charcole toke his place and huffed and puffed and.......warmed up. PLEASE START CHARCOLE-said the judge annoyed.-Alright alright-said Charcole embarrassed.fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu-Done- said Charcole happy with himself. The judges faces weren't happy though. Charcole flew up to the fire battlegrounds and was ready. He knew he didn't do good because he hade killed the Phoenix and he knew it was because he didn't even practice it once. He HAD to do good on this or he definitely wouldn't make it. -Get ready set...GO-said the judge. And the Griffon was of to a good start he pushed Charcole and pinned him. But Charcole knew what to do. He made lava below him then popped up behind the Griffon then made him fly and did...the fireshower and made multiple fireballs fly down from the sky killing the Griffon the judges were happy and wrote down the score.

CHAPTER 11

Shadow stood in the shadows he had no idea where to go or what to do. He

was heading to the principals office since they said that their was no dark dragons in this school so she said she hade a special tryout for him because she hade seen his grade scores that were up. So he went to her office. She told him to get in his stance and said that he would be fighting another dark dragon,GO! Then a dark dragon went straight in front of him and roared. I am so scared I just had to do it was the only way. He got so scared he used a special sword that is the only thing that can kill a dark dragon. The dragon was dead and Shadow was breathing hard while crying. His father had used his dark powers for dark when he met his mother but they found him and thought he was a criminal and killed him with the same knife that he used. That's why he was sad. He hade sworn he would never use it but yet he had.

CHAPTER 12

Stormbolt went to the storm grounds and the judges said" Stormbolt please perform your talent" Stormbolt was going to make a lightning bolt that would make a heatwave over the storm grounds and it would hit the ground causing a bush to catch on fire and cause a snow storm causing the fire to stop and leave the judges awed.-Go-said the judges. She did her best but she didn't do the heatwave. Then it was time to fight the Griffon. I thought I did good but the heatwave was hard so it didn't go well I think I'm it's going to awe the judges if I make fighting the Griffon a long process. She flew up towards the clouds as the Griffon came and made the Griffon follow her meanwhile she was conjuring a storm. Then the storm started and she caused a blow to the Griffon...A lightning bolt. She thought it would kill him but it only injured him. So she caused an extreme snow storm to make the Griffon cold so it might freeze his wings causing it to fall but first she would lead it to a high height. Causing it to fall and possibly die. And it worked.

The judges were definitely awed.

CHAPTER 13

The friends were all worried when they entered the school because they hadn't

seen each other. At least they got in with few other students. They were choosing teams. The teams would each go to an island and set home their so they could get new students in. Then to choice the teams they would launch them into the sky. But they would only be able to dodge hits from animals and their enemies not fly. Which ever dragon partner they saw first they would stay with and work together. One would be left alone though. Then go to a place with dragon bones.

Two each kind. Then as the students don't know which partners got the same bones would be on the same team. The principal explained that to them before they were launched but not the part about how they choose the teams.

CHAPTER 14

Breeze was lonched to the forest the partner she found was Charcole.

Punishment for not eating my broccoli. -Hey Breeze-said Charcole trying to look handsome.-ugg hi-said Breeze annoyed. He hade done that to her for years. She still hated it. -I think that the bones would be that way-said Breeze pointing to the west-Umm why do you say that-said Charcole.-Because I saw a Grion herd go that way and I think that the reason was that they are guarding something and that that something could be the bones-said Breeze happy. -ok weal do it your way-said Charcole feeling defeated. And they were o.

CHAPTER 15

Quake was launched and his partner of course Stormbolt.

He was pretty much fine with it because he knew they would be on the same team but he knew that Charcole and him have like a 10% chance of getting on the same team. -I think we should go that way in the trees because if we are in the trees the animals wouldn't see us and we could have a big advantage-said Stormbolt with pride.-ok-said Quake quietly. So we went on the trees although Quake didn't like it because he "missed the ground" as he called it.

CHAPTER 16

Breeze and I are so together now. FOREVER!! Charcole felt kind of defeated when Breeze knew what to do and were to go but he still did not care. -So when we get there I think we should chose the wing bone because it's one of the strongest bone in dragons bodiessaid Breeze.-Ya I totally new that-said Charcole with a confident voice. Then out of no we're a Grion charged almost hitting Breeze...but of course Charcole knocked her out of the way giving him a good bad bruise. Breeze quickly got up and made a strong breeze that pinned him against a tree so Charcole could kill it with a fire ball.-That was close-said Breeze.-(sighs) Thanks for saving me back their-said Breeze thankful but also mad that she hade to say it. -Your welcomesaid Charcole proudly.

CHAPTER 17

I new what to do and I knew that I was going to be the loner. It was hard for

Shadow to land without hitting a few tree branches but he did pretty good for a dark dragon that's new to dodging. Back at home it's dark and their aren't many trees so I usually just go into the shadows. That's what I'm good at. Shadow landed without knowing that something was watching him and his every move. Shadow felt shivers down his wings. He felt like someone could be watching him. It was super creepy but I knew who ever was watching me was going to come out at any moment. All the sudden Shadow saw a flare. That hade to be Charcole and even though I don't like him that much I have to go see if he's ok. Then he saw whatever was watching

him bolt o. He rushed to see if that was Charcole and if he was ok. He got to the spot that he thought was where he saw the flare when a caw startled him. Ahh ohh few it's just a pheonix but why is it black?But then he noticed that it was black and knew why it was. I've never seen one....like me. He knew it was dark and hurried away. He did not want it chasing him or attacking him.

CHAPTER 18

Stormbolt hated but also loved being with Quake. She liked it because

he followed her orders but also hated him because he was annoying and he couldn't keep himself on a single branch. So they had to go on the ground to keep Quake actually alive literally.

Then they heard something crack in the bushes. Quake dug into the ground then came out and said-There is a wolf well dark wolf pack in these bushes-he said quietly.-ok we should probably climb now-said Stormbolt bolting onto a branch. Then the wolfs pounced on Quake but he shoved them of. So heroic he he ohh what am I thinking I'm not here to date. Then Stormbolts branch broke and she was falling straight into the mouth of one of the wolfs. All the sudden Quake grabbed Stormbolts claws and saved her. Ahhh.-well that was a close one aye-said Quake with Stormbolt who was in his arms.-Umm ya-said Stormbolt blushing.

CHAPTER 19

Gggggrrrrr Charcole. He actually saved ME NO WAY. Breeze was upset that

he had saved her but she couldn't help but fall... in love. Then they made it to the spot with the bones and Breeze almost cried seeing all the wing bones.-I think we should-said Charcole interrupted by Breeze saying-WING WING WING WING WERE CHOOING WING-said Breeze screaming.-ok then- said Charcole surprised but he shouldn't be.ohh my goodness I love air.

Breeze had gotten in a air mood so she was the airy funny person of the partnership. Then they were heading back to camp. It was getting dark but that was no problem for Charcole he just lit himself on fire and lit the way. He had gew on his scales that made his light on fire and if you give it a single spark it will light.-yes we're back-said Breeze giving their bone to the headmistress.please just wait here with your partner...he will definitely be on your team-said the headmistress with a smile.

CHAPTER 20

-we should chose a wing bone if one is their because their almost the strongest bone-said Stormbolt sure of herself.-ya but what's the strongest cause if that bone is their we would chose it cause we are super strong-said Quake grinning.-umm I'm not sure but I fly a lot so that's probably why I want to umm how do I say this... choose it-said Stormbolt hesitant.-ya I guess we could chose wing-said Quake drifting into space.-yay- said Stormbolt wanting to fly. Then they made it to the spot with the bones. And picked a bone (the wing bone) and traveled back to camp which was very diďŹƒcult. They run into another pack of wolfs but they had no problem getting past them. By dark they had made it back.

CHAPTER 21

Man Breeze is Awsome she she aww who am I kidding she's falling for

me...ohh ya. Charcole was more in love than ever and Breeze was falling for him. Charcole was now lit on fire again because he was cold which was unusual for fire dragons. But the headmistress new what it was. When a fire dragon gets cold he is nervous and he is wanting something. She new what it was but she wasn't going to give it to him. But she hade to follow the rules so it was up to the five dragons to do to get what Charcole wanted.- hey umm Breezeasked Charcole.-ya what-said Breeze having a hint what he was going to ask.-I know it's weird but...do you like Shadow-said Charcole mad.-ya why-said Breeze.-do you not-said Breeze surprised.-no I like him it's just I heard a rumor about how you don't like him and so I wanted to know if that was true-said Charcole saving himself. Ugg I don't know what happened I was going to ask her out but I just...need more time.

CHAPTER 22

Finally I made it to the graveyard. Shadow hade finally made it to as he calls it the

graveyard. He chose the last wing bone because he hade lots of open space to fly at his home

so he was flying a lot. Then Shadow was heading back to camp. He saw a two pheonix's but one attacked him. But he just hid in a shadow and escaped him. Then he had finally made it back to camp with Charcole, Breeze, Stormbolt and Quake. Of course Charcole hade a camp fire on so he got warmed up with the other dragons.-Hey what are you doing-said a fire dragon a really big fire dragon.-well I'm warming up because I just came out of the cold forest-said Shadow trying to stand up for himself.-well you just stole are spot so get out- said the fire dragon pushing Shadow onto the ground.he is really big. Shadow was now cautious around fire dragons well except for Charcole. He new he would never bully him.-students we shall go and chose the teams insidesaid the headmistress. So Shadow and his friends went inside.-first are main team is team Beacon- said the headmistress smiling-the dragons succeeding to get into this group are first the leader Breeze wind... next the oďŹƒcer which will manage the team when Breeze is gone will be Stormbolt the recruiters which will look for other good dragons in the school will be Charcole, Shadow and Quake... and that will be team Beacon-said the headmistress proudly. Then they all went up. What luck that I got on the same team as my friends and not the bullies.

CHAPTER 23

I couldn't believe I was the leader of Beacon and had gotten all my friends on the same team... wow so lucky. Breeze was now leading her friends to their room. Yes they had to share it with each other 2 per bed. Breeze of course went with Stormbolt and they had a big bed for the three boys. Breeze hade only packed some food and training notebooks ohh and some power ups if she needed them.-Team Beacon meet at the aerial flying grounds-said Breeze then noticing that her team was already their.-ohh umm well today we will practice are flying in group...flying in formation-said Breeze just getting in the air.-first formation is upside down V formation... I go top then I want Stormbolt on my left and Charcole on my right...you are my wing guards and then a bit behind them I want Shadow on my left and Quake on my right-said Breeze out of breath. Then they flew into the air forming more of a Z formation.-you need to talk to each other because we are going into an obstacle that's pretty dangerous...if you don't stay together then we go cablamo-said Breeze worried. They quickly got it together and then were ready to go into the obstacle.

CHAPTER 24

Quake was very very very (hundred times very) nervous. Breeze is probably the most dangerous person on the team...I had to be worried on what the obstacle would bring. I

actually didn't know what would happen and was actually glad being at the back. At least I won't die first. Then they practiced for 3-4 hours. "I'm so tired I don't think I can practice any more"said Quake.

The team agreed so Breeze said "ok lets go start the obstacle then"said Breeze.oh no look what I've done now we have to do the obstacle "I'm so tired I'm about to drop dead "said Quake. The team agreed."well if your that tiered then sit down for two seconds and breathe" said Breeze.

The second Quake sat down he thought of what might be in the obstacle. Wreaking balls...lava...other dragons to get past...rogue Phoenix...grions. I don't know."wake up Quake"said Stormbolt."what happened"said Quake."you passed out for about 2 minutes"said Stormbolt helping him up."ohh well I think I'm ready to go into the obstacle" said Quake feeling much better. And then he thought maybe their will be creatures or something. Then they went toward the obstacle. He then saw dragon groups coming out severely injured and freaked out."this is past our level but I know we can do it"said Breeze. Then team Beacon entered the obstacle course."remember to talk to each other" said Stormbolt.

CHAPTER 25

Charcole was on his way with the team and he saw a charm. Almost as though it was a spiderwebwith a diamond in the midle and it had two feathers hanging and a crystal in the midle of the two feathers. Charcole thought he would give it to Breeze when he picked it up but he saw the beauty and just had to have it for himself. But wile he was gone picking the charm up Stormbolt realized he was gone and called for him" Charcole"said Stormbolt as he flew up acting like nothing happened. Then when he went to get a closer look Stormbolt saw it and thought.

That my dads charm he gave me before he left."can...I see that" said Stormbolt eyes watering."see what my beautiful eyes" said Charcole trying to seem normal." No my charm" said Stormbolt getting upset. Then Charcole gives the charm to Stormbolt worried what she would do with it. Stormbolt all the sudden fell to the ground."are you ok" said Quake."what happened"said Breeze and Quake." This charm has powers of all the dragons...it shouldn't be here" said Stormbolt. She wanted to hide it somewhere where no one would could find it. But then she found what she would do with it... she would put it at the bottom of the ocean since the water dragons were extinct." I have to go hide this don't go in the obstacle without me just rest wile I'm gone" said Stormbolt going towards the ocean.

CHAPTER 26

Stormbolt bolted of tears flying of her face looking under the water until she saw

dark, dark blue water.
