2022 - Feasibility Study
Mixed-use development - commercial and residential
• 58 Flats
• 2 Commercial units
• 77,000 sq m proposed in total
The purpose of this feasibility study was to research the possibilities for a mixed-use development that could provide new accomodation that would fulfill the housing need on this neighbourhood, as well as new commercial and public facilities that would contribute to the local community.
The site is currently used for retail purposes and is located within walking distance to transport services and recreational spaces. The area surrounding consists of a mix of residential, commercial and recreational uses.
In determining this study, the following main points were considered:
• Affordable Housing: At least 50% of the total should be affordable. The housing tenure should provide a 50% of socialhousing and a 50% of intermediate housing.
• Housing mix: Major housing developments (10 units or ore) will generally be expected to provide a minimum of 40% family accommodation. A split of c20% 1-beds, c40% 2-beds & 40% 3-bedrooms would be a sustainable unit mix, with 3+ bedroom units located up to the 4th floor.

SPA+HOTEL 2018 - Master’s Thesis Hospitality 3 floors - 78,500 sq ft
“Spa + Hotel”proposes a new break space in Sot de Chera, a small town in Sierra Calderona, a mountain range near Valencia.
This complex is located on a smooth hill on the west side of the town, directly linked to a part of Sot River shaped as natural pools and connected with the historical neighbourhood of this town and its medieval tower.
The building is composed by small boxes inserted or placed over the hill and themselves in a dynamic composition, and these are organised in three cores. The central core works as a connection point with the public space of the river and as a filter between this public private rooms of the programme. On this matter, those functions which are considered more interesting for visitors and inhabitants of this town have being located, such as a conference hall and a restaurant.
The other two cores are related with both main programmes of this complex: a 20-room hotel and a spa centre. Their different spaces are fitted inside the small connected by an axis which goes through the whole building. This path goes between, through and next to this pavilions playing with the architecture and composition of the com plex and using them as landscape elements.

GROW-OP New York (USA) 2015 - AWR Competition Mixed Use: Residential + Production + Leisure 13 floors - 38 flats - 13,800 sq ft
The Grow-op Co-op is a synthesis of production, housing and leisure spaces inside a big city such as New York. The combination of cultivation and living intends to teach people to value the food that they eat, as well as to value the nature that provides it, something which has become unknown because over the last century and a half, people have moved from rural landscapes to cities.
One of the Grow-op Co-op’s most important features is its connection to the High Line. It extends this existing promenade vertically, while offering new types of spaces and programs. Through the Grow-op Co-op’s architecture, people can discover the cycles of production of their fruits and vegetables while discovering and enjoying the hanging garden spaces.
Residents also learn about food production due to the proximity of living and farming spaces. From their terraces, inhabitants can see the shadows of plants growing in the greenhouses. Additionally, the moving gardens that are shared between neighbours not only animate the façade facing the High Line but also permit residents to cultivate their own food.
