The old Will Schuster is back on "Glee," or at least that is what Mr. Schu said at the beginning of the February 15, 2011 episode "Comeback." While the jury remains out about whether or not the real Will Schuster is standing up, one can safely say the old "Glee" is back. The past two episodes have went back to a faster pace than pre-Christmas episodes such as "Never Been Kissed" while maintaining plenty of music and character development. It's at the House of Blues Where the heart meets the soul, right? Where else can you enjoy a World Famous Gospel Brunch on Sunday afternoon, a Burlesque Festival on Saturday night and kickin' ribs any night of the week? Event features include a wood mahogany dance floor, credit card machine available (to save you that trip to the ATM), $8 valet parking and free cancer fund support treats for all! Tickets are only $15 for guests 21 and up, and $20 for the young'uns (18-20). The House of Blues is located in the historic White Swan Building on the edge of the West End and Victory Park. Come at 9:00pm and stay until 2:00am. Clubs traveling to the tournament include the only surviving South Carolina team -- Hilton Head Gators RFC -- but also teams from as far afield as Boston, New York, Connecticut and Wisconsin. Aside from Pitt's work setting up the Jane Pitt pediatric cancer Center (named for his mom) in his hometown of Springfield, MO, yesterday the couple's Jolie-Pitt Foundation gave $1 million to assist displaced refugees in Pakistan. This move created much less of a stir than yesterday's dress revelation. The fun starts at 3 p.m. with face painting. At 5 p.m., the Blackhawks mascot "Tommy Hawk" arrives. Hair shaving continues until 8 p.m. Appointments are not necessary. Can you believe Sue's new plan to disrupt New Directions? Once again Sue is working to shatter the Glee club from the inside out. Sue's manipulations actually led to a stellar diva-off between Mercedes and Rachel. They began performing the song "Take Me or Leave Me" from "Rent" and ended as the friends they have become. While Sue's original plan didn't work out, we find out at the end of the program that she is now the director of rival club Oral Intensity. Ouch. The 3rd annual Run TOO Overcome 5K starts at the Hunterville Family Fitness and Aquatic Center. This is a stroller friendly event, so bring the kids with you. The race benefits the Together Overcoming Obstacles for Special Needs Children of CMS. Race fees are $25. Saturday, Nov. 5: Heather Saler 8th Annual Lung Cancer Walk is a 3.8-mile fundraiser for LUNGevity. Heather Saler created the first regional event to raise money for the organization.
