Join us in the Lodge for our annual Women’s Fall Kickoff for a night of worship and a story of heartache and hope with Katherine Wolf. In 2008, at the age of 26, Katherine nearly died from a catastrophic brainstem stroke. Her survival and recovery have been nothing short of miraculous. Katherine’s story will encourage those with broken bodies, broken brains, and broken hearts with the hope that Jesus brings healing to the deepest pains we all carry.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Blessing Bags

PeachtreeChurch.org/BlessingBags

The beautiful flowers in the Sanctuary this morning are given to the glory of God and in loving memory of: William D. Young, Sr. by his wife, Jane, and his loving family

Ever year, Peachtree packs Blessing Bags for local elementary students. Over 90% of these students receive free or reduced meals. During breaks, however, these students are often left without meals. Next Sunday, September 16, we will be packing 5,000 Blessing Bags filled with food for vulnerable students at Mimosa and Lake Forest Elementary schools. Following each service, spend just five minutes of your time in the Fellowship Hall to pack two bags. We invite the entire family to participate and look forward to seeing you!
