Born and raised on the Grand Strand, I’ve proudly called Pawleys Island home for over 40 years. From sunrises over the Atlantic to quiet sunsets on the low country marshes, this coastline runs deep in my blood. I know every backroad, waterway, and wildlife trail from the Hammock Coast to the peaceful farmland and hunting tracts inland and would be excited to help you explore these many areas.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of building lasting relationships with some of the founding families of Pawleys Island and Myrtle Beach and through these connections it has given me a unique perspective on the past, present, and future of this spectacular area.
Somehow along the way I became known as “Fishdaddy”. I’ve had this nickname so long, I can’t even remember how it came about. If I had to guess it came about on some offshore fishing trip, which there have been too many to count now. The nickname has kinda stuck with me all these years.
Before stepping into real estate with Peace Sotheby’s International Realty, I spent over four decades developing and maintaining some of the most renowned golf courses on the Carolina coast. Caledonia, True Blue, Heritage, Legends, and Barefoot, just to name a few. That career instilled in me a passion for land, design, and attention to detail. These skills I now apply to every property I represent.
When I’m not working with clients, you’ll likely find me outdoors hunting, fishing, or spending time on the family farm, where I continue to manage and care for the land. This isn’t just where I sell homes and land, it’s where I’ve built a life, raised a family, and created deep roots that guide everything I do.
