Burridge Gardens - March 2025
Come and join us and your neighbours for a fun and hopefully helpful event at Burridge Gardens community centre during the Easter holidays.
You can come and meet Peabody teams if you have issues around your home, and get personal advice from our experts.
Children are invited to take part in an Easter Egg hunt (weather permitting), and there will be some egg-cellent chocolate prizes up for grabs. Food will be available at the community centre.
We’ll also be talking about gardening, and how you can get involved in making Burridge Gardens a greener place.
The event starts at midday and runs to 4pm.
· 12pm - 1.30pm Advice & Information will available in the hall.
· 12-1pm – Gardening sign in starts
· 1.30 till 4pm – Music, food, Easter egg hunt and gardening.

Joseph is employed as the Concierge, based at the Burridge Gardens Community Centre. Joseph has at his fingertip’s details of what’s on at the Community Centre. He also collects parcels for the leasehold residents, and does security patrols around Burridge Gardens.
In spring 2024, a small group of residents initiated a collaboration with Peabody, aiming to make the whole development a better place to live.
They formed the Burridge Gardens Liaison Group (BGLG), reached out to Peabody’s CEO, and have since established focused working groups dealing with issues such as improving services and collaborating on local offers.
The group has identified some root causes of some recurring issues, and continues to work with Peabody to establish solutions for solving these issues together. They hope to embed better ways of working that will last - to improve life at Burridge Gardens for all residents.
The Group is chaired by Bill, and consists of Anton, Nuno, Lucy, Randeep and Tim. We meet when needed, online or over a coffee during the day or a pint after work.
The Group is open to new members, who must be residents or leaseholders/shared owners, and who will commit time and energy (1-2 days a month on average) to help the Group and Peabody to improve the quality of life in our neighbourhood. Contact them in person or via email burridgegardensliaisongroup@gmail.com

Erick, Lorenzo, and their teams are always on the lookout for any repairs that need doing on the estate, or for any spillages or mess that fall outside of the regular cleaning schedule.
However, we do still rely on residents to let us know if something isn’t right.
If you spot something that needs attention, you can let us know immediately by logging it on the My Peabody portal at bit.ly/MyPBPortal or report it to the concierge.
At the start of this year, we established a weekly oversight group to review the quality of cleaning at Burridge Gardens. Initial feedback is that the quality of cleaning has improved, and we will continue to monitor this.
