I am 9 years old. This is my third year in Cleavers. My calf’s name is Mac. He is a Charolais-Hoistein. He likes to look for scratches Sometimes he does not want to walk.
I am 12 years old, and this is my second year of 4-H. When I am not playing spring hockey, you can find me playing with animals or working with my steer, Sebastian who is a Speckle Park. It has been fun and hard working with him My favourite part this year was hanging out with the 4-H families.
This is my second year of being a junior and having a steer to show. My steer this year is named Nugget and is a Charolais and Red Angus cross He has lots of hair for me to brush and is growing well. He should be just right in time for Achievement Day, and I’m excited to show him off!

This is my third year in the Holden 4-H beef club. I enjoy the outdoors and pretty much anything to do with animals This year I have a heifer named Lily and a steer named Spartan. They are both Black Angus crosses
I am an intermediate member who has been part of the Holden 4-H Beef Club for 5 years This year my steer is a Charolais, Red Angus and Simmental cross. He’s been enjoying his food and is packing on the pounds. He is a real easy-going steer to work with and I look forward to showing him at our clubAchievement Day!

I am VERY appreciative of the skills that 4-H has helped me to obtain throughout my years as a member. I am grateful of the support the Holden 4-H Beef club continues to receive from the communities of Holden and Bruce 4-H has provided opportunities for me to become more involved in each community throughout my 14 years in the Holden Beef Club.I am pleased to bring my mature female pair to achievement day. Red Lauron Blackbird 15K is proving to be an amazing cow in my herd Her heifer calf at side is sired by Red Golden Sunset Supremo 49F-a bull that has been a key sire in producing strong females in my Dad's herd. I am very appreciative of the producers who continue to be instrumental in helping me to build my Angus herd.Thank you to our club for expanding club projects to include a carcass project This not only assists me in gaining feedback specific to the beef that I am producing; it also helps me to learn more about a feeding program specific to finishing beef. The carcass project has allowed me to remain involved with a steer project while I am in university and not able to spend as much time at home Thank you to Tofield Packers for providing feedback on my carcass steer this year.I am appreciative of all families and businesses that have purchased my 4-H steers over the years.Thank you to the Giebelhaus family of JCR Farms who purchased my carcass steer this year; they are a multiple repeat purchaser of both my sister's and my 4-H steers. I hope to remain involved with 4-H as a mentor enabling me to give back to a program and communities that have supported me throughout my youth.
