Arts’ creative writing class introduces up-and-coming young authors and illustrators to the craft of storytelling. We offer classes during the fall, winter and spring sessions.

Literary Arts Supplies

This class has a supply list and students are expected to gather their own supplies. The supply list can be found on our ActiveNet registration site under the “Notes” section for each class. Please gather your supplies before your first day of class. Supplies should not be purchased until a few days before the class start date to avoid unnecessary expenditures if the class is cancelled.

Creative Writing

7 - 14 years

Through group and individual activities, explore a wide range of writing styles and techniques, including narrative, poetry and creative nonfiction. You will read prose, poems and comics and learn how writers use different topics and techniques to tell stories and convey information. Supplies not included.
