Systemised Design & Build
PCE Ltd specialise in superstructure and façade design and build solutions. Utilising standardisation and repeatable design philosophies, we have created build systems that provide certainty of outcome and enhanced safety, quality, speed, and value across all construction sectors.
Through smart connectivity and structural flexibility, we create a customised kit-of-parts made up of a hybrid of structural materials. Components are pre-engineered offsite to meet the structural, aesthetic, and sustainability targets of each project.
PCE’s Supply Chain Model
PCE’s supply chain model offers improved flexibility in construction. By collaborating with the best manufacturing specialists across the UK and Europe, we have the freedom to select the best offsite manufacturers and materials based on each project’s distinct architectural and engineering requirements.
Whether it’s aesthetics, structural performance, sustainability, or scale, our approach ensures an adaptable, tailored solution.
Digital Approach
Instantaneous unit tracking, informative dashboards, and intelligent digital reporting all feed into a ‘digital command centre’ that enables precise, rapid, and confident decision-making at critical moments. This digital excellence ensures our operations are coordinated, transparent, and predictable, delivering a superior design and build solution.
Empowered by the latest cuttingedge digital capabilities, PCE’s digital immersion ensures heightened and powerful collaboration and coordination across all phases of project delivery. Driven by automated, realtime data, project visibility has hit new heights.
Hybrid Materials
Through common connection principles and with access to toptier offsite specialists, our structural solutions can easily accommodate a hybrid of structural materials, combining precast concrete, reinforced steel, and engineered timber. This means the right product is used for the right solution, tailored to specific structural, aesthetic, and sustainability targets.
Sustainability
At PCE, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. We actively seek innovative ways to operate more sustainably across the value chain, ensuring that our practices contribute to a greener future. This includes working with main contractors, clients, design specialists, and supply chain. As a carbon-neutral company with NCZ status, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact while delivering high-quality, efficient solutions.
Sectors
Our DFMA build systems are designed to serve all build sectors, across both public and private clients. Custody & Custodial

Key Benefits:
• Up to 50% faster construction programme
• Progressive M&E installation and internal ‘fit-out’ just two levels below construction
• Passivhaus airtightness
•
hyTower® is a HybriDfMA building system for high-rise structures up to 50 storeys tall. Offsite integration ensures weatherproofing kit-of-parts, such as integral façade.
Coupled with the absence of back-propping, use of hyTower® enables rapid fit-out and M&E installations, just two clear levels below the active construction level.
Hybrid Frame System
Key Benefits:
• Site deliveries reduced up to 50%
• Significantly increased control, predictability, and efficiency through offsite approach
• Hybrid component flexibility
• and
• adaptable supply chain
•
PCE’s HybriDfMA Frame system enables the rapid and safe onsite assembly of unique structural frames and innovative façades through offsite design and component manufacturing.
This flexible ‘kitof-parts’ system can be easily configured to accommodate custom designs, ensuring both high quality and ease of assembly.
HybriDfMA Living System
Key Benefits:
• 30% reduction in construction programme
• High level fire, thermal, vibration and acoustic resistance
• Onsite personnel reduced up to 80%
•
Systemised DfMA delivery of accommodation structures and façades. Our offsite ‘kit-of-parts’ approach creates modern, functional living spaces with built-in fire and sound resistance and low operational energy needs, offering excellent value.
The HybriDfMA Living System’s modular design allows easy configuration to meet client requirements while ensuring effortless assembly.
HybriDfMA Bespoke System
Key Benefits:
• Configurable with existing designs
• Flexible supply chain optimises hybrid material selection
• Waste reduction up to 90%
Our Bespoke DfMA system means standardisation meets individuality. Taking elements from across our suite of DfMA build systems, Bespoke creates an innovative kit-of-parts and imaginative façades that delivers truly unique structural solutions. Components can be easily configured to suit unique designs ensuring ease of assembly, whilst providing the certainty of outcome and offsite efficiencies associated with our standardisation and repeatable design philosophies.
• Standardised construction methodologies streamlines installation
• Up to 30% reduction in construction
• programme
•
Designed to comply with the latest edition of the MoJ design guide and National Offender Management Service (NOMS), PCE’s Secure Prison is a platform DfMA solution.
With standardisation and repeatability at its core, Secure Prison provides a proven solution for scalable prison construction, delivered safely at speed, complete with offsite integration and coordination with M&E.
HybriDfMA Custody System
Key Benefits:
• Fast construction with 12 cells plus ancillary spaces constructed per week
• Reduced carbon through smart design
• Directly applied internal surface finishes
•
PCE’s Secure-Custody system provides a Home Office-approved MMC category 2 superstructure solution for police custody suites. Using a kitof-parts approach, we deliver a highly refined cellular accommodation system with offsitemanufactured precast concrete components.
This platform design offers configurable components within defined rule sets, enabling bespoke layouts tailored to each client’s specific needs.
