Flexible Port Selection

Peripheral Sharing

A 2 or 4 port USB hub can be connected to the switch's mouse port allowing USB peripherals to connect to the switch and be shared by all the computers on the installation. This eliminates the need to purchase a separate USB hub or standalone peripheral sharers.

For flexibility and convenience there are three ways to switch ports: With hotkeys from the keyboard; mouse port switching and by clicking with the remote port selector device. Hotkeys provide more control of the focus, while the remote selector device saves the bother of remembering the appropriate hotkey combinations. In addition, a quick and easy switching solution is to click the mouse's scroll wheel to cycle through the ports. •

Focus Assignment

The KVM focus and audio focus can be switched independently of each other, which means that users can work on the computer with the KVM focus while listening to the output of the computer with the audio focus. Users can switch the KVM focus from port to port without moving the audio focus and vice versa.

DynaSync ™

ATEN's exclusive Video DynaSync™ technology automatically detects the horizontal and vertical offset values of each computer's display settings and synchronizes them with the monitor you are working on, ensuring that the display resolution will always be correct when switching ports.

Audio Support

The Cable KVM Switches are designed with microphone and speaker support, allowing audio input/output for multimedia applications that make use of sound.

Dual Display – Dual View The Dual Display function is ideal for multimedia power users since it supports a separate output on each monitor. Users can have the display of the computer they are working on in one monitor, while they keep an eye on the video output of the other computers in the second one. The Dual View function provides support for two displays, allowing the video output to seamlessly display on two monitors.
