+ ANGELA CULVEYHOUSE These two Southern Belles met—where else?—at a Junior League meeting. “Carin is an honest friend, which is hard to find,” says Angela Culveyhouse (right), owner of Palm Beach Medical. “We grew up about 30 minutes from each other, even though we didn’t know each other growing up, and I think we value the same qualities.” It wasn’t long before she and Carin Acree of U.S. Trust Bank of America Private Wealth Management were shopping together, volunteering together, flying up for SEC football games and getting together with their beaus for weekend dinners. She’s a great friend because ... Angela: She is always there for me, no matter the day or time or what I need. Sometimes it’s something really small, like reminding me to do something, and sometimes it’s something big. Carin: Hands down, when she gets animated telling a story. She tries so hard to portray a story just like you were there. She gives the best advice about ... Carin: Health. Angela spends a considerable amount of time reading medical journals and researching her specialty, chiropractic care. But more importantly, she is 86
