Champions For Learning: WINGS
WINGS (Women in Naples Giving Support) is a group of women who offer support to financially challenged middle school children in Collier County. Organized in 2011 by a small group of Naples women, and in collaboration with Champions For Learning, WINGS assists local middle school boys and girls by providing uniforms, undergarments, and school and personal hygiene/health supplies. Main Fundraising Event: WINGS (Women in Naples Giving Support) Annual Fundraiser Date: March 22, 2020 Location: Naples Sailing & Yacht Club Description of Event: The annual fundraiser will feature a cocktail reception with an open bar, auction items, and more. Funds will support the primary mission of WINGS—to offer young students the necessary tools to be prepared for school each day—as well as classroom grants and scholarships. Charity for Change
The goal of Charity for Change is to develop confident and compassionate children who become successful learners, contribute to their schools and communities, and participate in society as ethical, employable, resilient, and self-reliant citizens. Main Fundraising Event: Charity for Change Gala, “Enchantment in the Rainforest” Date: November 16, 2019 Location: Quail West Golf and Country Club, Naples Description of Event: This annual fundraising event with a rainforest theme will support Charity for Change’s after-school, summer school, pre-school, and in-school programs for students throughout Collier County. The enchanting event will include a cocktail hour with a silent auction, interactive trivia-style games, dancing, and dinner.
