Sarah’s Memories from Ukraine

Sarah was praying for an opportunity to help with the war in Ukraine when fellow alumna Cayla Metzger recruited her to be a photojournalist at a refugee camp in Poland.
“I had worked with refugees from the war in Syria, and I know how devastating those early stages are. The people we interviewed are suffering things that few of us in America could ever imagine.”

There’s always a way to connect and get in touch with our common humanity. It’s a hard job, but someone needs to be that bridge.
I think when people realize we are more connected than we think, REAL LOVE & REAL CHANGE start happening.
