Paynesville Continued Lake Koronis Regional Park

Ampe Park

Located 5 miles southwest of Paynesville on the south shore of Lake Koronis on Co. Rd. 20.

This 14-acre park is located off South Street on the east side of Paynesville.

This park also has frisbee golf.

Lake Wobegon Trail

This 46-mile, black-topped trail runs from Avon to Sauk Centre with a spur from Albany to Holdingford.

Glacial Lakes State Trail

This trail runs from Cold Spring to Willmar. A 30-mile section from Willmar to Cold Spring is paved.

Veteranâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s Memorial Park

Community Park

Located on the northeast shore of Lake Koronis on Cedar Point Road.

This park is located just south of Highway 55.

It has a BMX off-road course, garden plots, a new remote-control car track, and one whiffle ball field.

Lake Koronis Recreational Trail

Crow River Nature Park Twelve acres along the North Fork of the Crow River in Paynesville. Located on the north end of Burr Street.

Maple Street Park

South Street Park

This trail completely circles Lake Koronis in Paynesville and has a link from the city to the lake.

Located on Maple Street.

Bike Trail around Green Lake This trail runs around Green Lake in Spicer and goes north on Lake Ave. from Salsbury Beach (Kandiyohi Park #4) to North Shore Drive, then continues to Indian Beach Road.

After bikers turn right on Lake Ave. South they can finish the 12 mile round trip.

Cold Spring Lions Park

Located on Co. Rd. 139 across the Sauk River from downtown Rockville and adjacent to Rockville County Park. This park is 70 acres where one can observe birds (including eagles), flowers and grasses. The county park is 284 acres on boath sides of Sauk River with 1.2 miles of river frontage.

It was established in late 2006 and early 2007.

Lions Park on Pleasant Lake Located on Pleasant Lake.

The park is located along the Sauk River in Cold Spring next to the Highway 23 bridge over the Sauk River.

Richmond Centennial Park The park is located on the east side of Richmond.

Cold Spring Skate Board Park

Located south of Springer Baseball Park on Seventh Ave. in Cold Spring. This park features jumps and ramps for skateboarders (No bikes allowed).

Frogtown Park

Located near the eastern edge off 2nd Street North in Cold Spring.

Richmond Lion’s Community Park

Located on Thein Lake, south of Richmond on Co. Rd. 71, the park is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily in the summer.

Richmond Outdoor Skating Rink Quarry Park and Preserve

This 643-acre Stearns County Park is located five miles east of Rockville on Co. Rd. 137. This park has woodlands, wetlands, prairie, & unquarried bedrock. It has 30 waterfilled granite quarries where you can even scuba dive. The park was opend in 1998.

North Pointe Park

Located near the eastern edge off 12th Street North in Cold Spring.

Located behind the River Lakes Civic Arena in Richmond. Hours are: weekdays 4-9 p.m. and weekends 9 a.m.-9 p.m.

Rich-River Nature Park This 8 acre site is located upstream from Richmond on the Sauk River.

Pioneer Park

Located south of Cold Spring on Tenth Ave.

Rockville Community Park

Located on Chestnut Street South in Rockville, the park is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

Sportsman Park

Located on the south side of the Sauk River just outside of Cold Spring.

Lake Wobegon Trail

Eden Valley Baseball Park & Field House The baseball field and field house are located at 475 Church Street South.The field house is available to rent by individuals and groups.

Watkins McCarthy Park

This park is located near the north end of Central Avenue. McCarthy Park offers a bandstand/stage, two open shelters and picnic tables. The park is also the site of Watkins Kraut & Wurst Days during the first weekend in August.

Legion Park

Located at 150 State Street South

Lions Park

Located at 350 Park Ave. East

Softball Park

The softball field is at 961 Stearns Ave.

Water Tower Park

Located behind Eden Valley City Hall.

This park is handicapped accessible.

Softball Park

This park – 130 First Street – has a concession stand which is open for league games during the summer, and a handicapped accessible playground which is open all year.

Baseball Park

This park is located next to the Eden ValleyWatkins Elementary School, 161 School Avenue South, and is the home field of the Watkins Clippers Amateur Baseball Team. Eden ValleyWatkins High School, Babe Ruth, and the American Legion teams also use the field. The field is equipped with lights. Concessions and bathrooms are available during games.

This seven-acre site on the shore of Upper Spunk Lake was donated to Stearns County in 1973. It is located some 10 miles north of Richmond on CSAH 9.

Lake Henry Lions Park

Located on the eastern edge of Lake Henry, a block east of Highway 4

St. Martin Canoe Access Located a mile north of St. Martin off Co. Rd. 12. Access to the Sauk River

Located 2 miles east of Spring Hill on Co. Rd. 14

This park is located next to Eden Valley-Watkins elementary school at 161 School Avenue. It is available for use when Little League games are not scheduled.

This park – located on Veteran’s Drive west of Central Avenue – is dedicated to all veterans. Five granite markers commemorating United States war veterans, and a military tank, are located there.The Watkins Memorial Day service begins at the park.
