Over the years I have had to overcome many challenges and obstacles plus enjoyed blessings of experiences and opportunities to work in many different capacities. Moving to the Midwest and having three children kept me busy. God still provided ways for me to use my nursing in addition to being a wife and mother. During the summers I worked as camp nurse at Inspiration Center, a part of Inspiration Ministry in Walworth Wisconsin. This ministry served the disabled and they allowed me to bring my children with me. This taught us all a great love for the handicap. I also did volunteer nursing at a youth camp in Pennsylvania called Miracle Mountain Ranch. These ministries allowed me to use my skills as a nurse and still be an at home mom for my children. God also allowed me to go on a Medical Mission trip to Honduras. What a tremendous experience to care for the people in Honduras. Financial challenges still continue as a part of our life. I have always wanted to work with small children in the medical field. After doing research on nursing specialties i found the neonatal. Neonatal nurses work with babies that are born either too early(premature) and/ or are suffering from a life threatening situations such as drug addiction or born with aids. This would be a very tedious job because these babies are most of the time very tiny and the equipment you work with is tiny and if you're not careful you can instantly kill them or seriously injure them.
