My Role Model Of Family Essay
From the time I was born to the present day, I have been surrounded by family. My family doesn't just consist of blood related family but includes friendships that have become so close they have become part of my family over the years. To say that family is the basis of who I am would be an understatement. To me,family can simply be a person that has come into my life and stood by my side through the good times and bad times. My family has always been there for me and they've supported my every decision. They have become my compass in life and direct me in the path I should take. Not only do they cheer me on and are supportive for my successful moments and greatest accomplishments but they are also not afraid to be honest and tell me when I'm doing something wrong. Even at my toughest times and weakest moments, they are always willing to help, especially to pick me up if I fall. Since childhood, my brother has been my role model. When my brother started playing soccer, I had to play because he was playing. We both played on the same team for a few years with a family friend as our coach. Because of our age difference, my brother and I fought a lot.
Deciding I want to be on the same team as him, I didn't help our relationship much but added to the arguments. We argued about the little things like, telling the other to get out of the bathroom or out of their room, or fighting over who gets to watch what show on TV, to eating all the ice cream then blaming the other for it.

Why do you want this rank?: I would love to become staff because I am very outgoing and love to help out the community. I have been apart of this server since 2013 and I have loved every part of it. The reason why I want to be a helper is to make the server safer, easier to play "without hackers of course" and make sure people don't spam or be racist. As staff I would warn the correct people, mute the correct people and clear the chat at the correct time "when I am high enough staff", ensuring a mostly clean server where players for a range of places can have fun and enjoy the game without feeling hurt or harassed. If I was to become Staff, I would not be lazy when warning players, but I would do my job and do all of the stuff I should do,...show more content...

If I was to become Staff, I would not be lazy when warning players, but I would do my job and do all of the stuff I should do, referring to upper staff. Staff is supposed to live up to the title and help, there are a few other responsibilities that come with the role, like the permissions to warn people and mute people. Staff members must NOT abuse these and warn/mute random people, but instead, they should warn the rule breakers and offenders. Staff should be kind, helpful, not abusive of their powers and also be making sure no rule breakers go unpunished as well as having fun and ensuring others have the sense of belonging too. But if there are hackers, Adverts or any other kind of rule breakers that are very destructive, they should be dealt with right Get

Engineers are viewed as the backbone of modern society. The innovation and the creativity that drives our society forward are inspired by the teachings of engineering, whether it is transporting on a bus or making a phone call, the work of an engineer is experienced. Engineers satisfy both themselves and humanity which is the reason for my passion for engineering.
The idea of seeing a project come to life is what provokes my desire to become an engineer. In the past, engineers have created the greatest historic innovations such as health technology. My passion for chemical engineering is seeing how the fundamental theories of Chemistry, Physics and Math can be applied to create an innovative industry. In very concrete ways, engineers...show more content...
I would like to add to my degree by completing an Engineering and Social Development certification and a minor in French at UFT. Even more, the location of this campus is ideal for me because I may easily commute and educate myself in the heart of Toronto.
Throughout my high school life, my extracurricular involvement has helped me develop a variety of skills. Primarily, I have been a part of the Leadership and Peer Support group as a project manager of a conference; I exercised my leadership and collaborative skills. As an engineer, there are times where an individual with leadership and cooperative skills must rise and become the leader in different projects. Interpersonal skills play a significant role in an engineer's life because they will always be required to communicate with new people. Earlier this year, a peer and I decided to start a Student Mentorship Program and as a co–founder of this group, I learned how to problem solve, make decisions, think laterally, and work as a team. As a student, my skills will allow me to accept challenges with confidence and contribute to discussions during lectures with new ideas. Teamwork, leadership, interpersonal and hands–on skills are key abilities engineers must contain in order to be successful. Engineering is an exciting field that I believe will be enjoyable, challenging, and above all, intuiting to undertake at university. I believe pursuing engineering means exceeding your expectations and making a

1.I am applying to be an RA because I enjoy being a role model and a positive influence on others. I have been in positions before in which I was in charge of multiple people around my age, and I really enjoyed those experiences. I believe that an effective RA has strong leadership, communication, disciplinary, and charismatic skills. An RA is in charge of around twenty other students, it is important that they must be their residents' friend and a big brother/sister to the residents and by having those skills the residents should feel as if the RA is a big brother/sister.
In my opinion, the most important skill is communication. If a resident is struggling with a class, a resident is homesick, or just has any personal problems the RA is probably one of the first people they talk to. Communicating to their residents in those times can mean the world to them; just a simple conversation can help improve a person.
2.I have had many different situations in which I was a leadership role for many people from different backgrounds such as, Relay for Life, high school football and basketball captain, and little league baseball and softball umpire. From those experiences, I have gained the knowledge that being positive is very important....show more content...
As an incoming freshman, I was a nervous wreck about living away from home. I've gained a lot of independence from living on campus. Thankfully, my mother did my laundry while I was younger, so I learned real quickly on how to do that. One benefit to living on campus would definitely be the amount of independence compared to commuting from home. There are still rules but I found it amazing that I could hang out with my friends until late at night and not have a curfew to come home. Another reason I would influence living on campus is the amount of great people you will meet. I find it interesting that people from all different kinds of backgrounds and towns can come together and be friends and continue to be friends for a

Being a Christian Role Model A role model is somebody you desire to be like; someone who sets a good example. Christians today need a role model who encourages them to have faith and be strong through difficult times. The qualities a Christian role model should have are faith, loyalty, strength, dedication and not being influenced by public opinions.
Some people would agree with the statement that Peter isn't a good role model for Christians today for the reason that Peter promised that he wouldn't deny Jesus when Jesus predicted his denial. This proves that in this passage Peter is untrustworthy; Christians today want to...show more content...
He doesn't want Jesus to die, which illustrates him being selfish again. He doesn't understand the cost of discipleship which explains why he isn't a good role model for those who want to be followers of Christ but not quite sure on what they should do our how to behave.
Peter is a coward; when Jesus was arrested Peter only follows him from a distance. At Jesus' crucifixion Peter isn't there for him, he deserted Jesus in his hour of need when he was lonely and needed his friend.
However, some people would disagree with the statement for the reason that Peter broke down and cried when he realised that he had done what Jesus had predicted. He knew he had done wrong and was sorry. Peter is a good role model; yes he makes mistakes but we all do. Role models don't necessarily need to be perfect. He did try to be loyal, many people break promises it doesn't make them a bad person.
When Jesus speaks of his suffering and death Peter tells Jesus off, not because he wants glory but since he loves his friend he doesn't want him to die. He has courage and faith as given that he was the first disciple to recognize Jesus as the messiah, these are the qualities we look for in a good role model.
Jesus trusted Peter on many occasions. For instance in the passages 'The Transfiguration' and 'Jairus' daughter'. Jesus also changed Peter'
