•
For uneven surfaces or dips consider increasing the recommended coverage rate to a maximum of 1” in thickness (depth) in order to float or level out the surface.
•
Cover any existing joints or cracks. Small cracks up to ¾” may be covered with DriBond™ dry mix. Larger sections of damaged concrete must be cut out to full depth and repaired. We recommend the use of rebar and concrete in the repair of full-depth repairs.
•
Install thin-section pavers according to manufacturer’s instructions.
5. Install border pavers using liquid latex modified BorderBond™. Follow the instructions for creating a mortar bed using Paver Tech BorderBond™ liquid latex admixture. 6. After all pavers are installed according to the manufacturer’s instructions, apply water for activation from the highest elevation in paver field, continue apply water for cement hydration by liberally sprinkling the pavers with about ¼” of water per square foot, in roughly 25 square foot increments. Do NOT exceed ¼” of water per square foot. 7. Spread mason sand over the pavers and sweep, filling all paver joints. 8. Repeat the water application step a second time. 9. Allow mortar to hydrate and set for at least 24 hours before allowing foot traffic or 48 hours before allowing vehicle traffic.
