N Chandrababu Naidu, the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, has been known for his innovative ideas and initiatives during his tenure. One such initiative was the Neeru-Meeru program, which aimed to conserve water resources and increase awareness about the importance of water conservation. The Neeru-Meeru program was launched in 2015 as a part of the Water Consciousness initiative. The program was aimed at rejuvenating water resources in rural areas and promoting the importance of water conservation among the people.
