SENGENS BETYDNING FOR SØVNKVALITETEN
Sover du aller helst på siden? Da er det viktig å sjekke at ryggsøylen blir rett. Det gir bedre avslapning, roligere søvn og ikke minst – bedre søvnkvalitet.
Er sengen for myk under hoften synker hoften for langt ned.
Bedre søvn når du sover på siden
Skuldersonen:
Sengens skuldersone skal være ekstra myk for å hjelpe skulderpartiet å komme godt ned i sengen. Dette gir bedre avlastning og bedre posisjon for både nakke og rygg.
Hoftesonen:
Hoftepartiet er den tyngste delen av kroppen og trenger en fastere hoftesone for å ikke synke for langt ned i madrassen. Når hoften får riktig støtte kan ryggsøylen bli rett og du får bedre avslapning og søvnkvalitet.
Motorisert skulder- og hoftesone*:
Med fjernkontrollen* kan du enkelt justere posisjonen til hofte og skulder slik at ryggsøylen blir rett. Skulder- og hoftesone* kan justeres hele 7,5 cm fra laveste til høyeste posisjon.
Når hoften får riktig støtte og ryggsøylen er rett får du bedre søvnkvalitet. 7,5 cm

Under bunnrammen: åpne glidelåsen ved hodeenden.
Ta ut fjernkontrollen og dra ledningen gjennom hullet i bunnens tekstil. Lukk glidelåsen. (Gjelder modeller med motoriserte soner).
Monter ben i hvert hjørne på bunnrammene.
Plasser bunnrammene på plass; buede kanter skal plasseres som ytterkanter på sengen.

Legg trekket på bunnrammene og plasser madrassene inni. Se fasthet på siden av madrassen. Madrassens buede langside plasseres mot sengens ytterkant og den buede kortsiden mot sengens fotende. Lukk trekkets glidelås.
Koble stikkontaktene til 220V veggkontakt.
Fjernkontrollene er allerede koblet til hver enkelt bunnramme.

Sikker bruk av sengens motoriserte deler er bare mulig når bruksanvisningen er lest i sin helhet og instruksjonene i denne bruksanvisning følges nøye.

Fjernkontroll og motor er ikke beregnet for å brukes av barn <8 år eller av personer med nedsatt funksjonsevne uten tilsyn.
Barn skal ikke leke med produktets elektriske deler eller med sengens hev- og senkbare funksjoner. Rengjøring eller vedlikehold av produktet skal ikke utføres av barn uten tilsyn.
Hvis det er synlige skader på produktets elektriske deler, må de ikke brukes.
Motor skal kun brukes med strømforsyningen som følger med produktet.
Produktet er kun beregnet for innendørs bruk.

Produsenten av produktet skal sørge for at bruken av fjernkontroll og motor er i samsvar med relevante standarder som for eksempel Maskinforskriften.
Hvis sengen har motoriserte soner, er fjernkontrollene allerede koblet til sengen ved levering.

Trekk ut stikkontakten til sengen og sett inn stikkontakten på nytt.

Batteri

Fjernkontrollen inneholder 1 stk. knappcellebatteri.
Et knappcellebatteri kan forårsake alvorlige indre kjemiske forbrenninger hvis det svelges.
Svelging eller innføring av et batteri i kroppen kan føre til alvorlig personskade eller død i løpet av så lite som 2 timer, på grunn av kjemisk forbrenning og mulig perforering av spiserøret.
Oppbevar nye og brukte batterier utilgjengelig for barn. Hvis du tror at et batteri kan ha blitt svelget eller plassert i noen del av kroppen, må du umiddelbart oppsøke lege.
Kast brukte batterier umiddelbart og på en sikker måte.
Bytt batteri i fjernkontrollen
Batteridekselet er plassert på nedre delen av fjernkontrollens framside. Trykk ned dekselet og skyv for å løsne det. Bytt ut batteriet.

Vedlikehold
Forleng sengens levetid ved å støvsuge sengen jevnlig og vend madrassene inne i hovedmadrassen 1–2 ganger/år.
Eventuelle flekker fjernes med anbefalte flekkfjerningsprodukter for møbler. Overmadrassens tekstil er vaskbart på 60°C (følg vaskeanvisning på overmadrassen).
Reparasjon og reklamasjon
Alle reparasjoner av sengens motoriserte deler må utføres av autoriserte LINAK servicesentre eller reparatører. Ved spørsmål om garanti eller reklamasjon skal du henvende deg til butikken der du kjøpte sengen.
Skifte motor*
Sengens motorer er konstruert for å vare i mange år. Om det likevel skulle skje et uhell, er det enkelt å skifte:
• Åpne glidelåsen under sengen.
Hoftesone*: 2 stk. motorer
Skuldersone*: 1 stk. motor *Gjelder ikke alle modeller
• Hver motor er montert med fire muttere/skruer (1).
• Hold fast mutteren på undersiden av treplaten (1) med fastnøkkel eller tang.
• Skyv madrassen litt opp med hånden og finn fram til skruene på oversiden av treplaten (2). Skru ut skruene ovenfra med torx-vinkelnøkkel eller torx-bits.
• Fjern den gamle motoren og monter den nye motoren på samme måte. Lukk glidelåsen.

THE BED’S EFFECT ON YOUR SLEEP QUALITY
If you prefer to sleep on your side, it is important to check that the spine is as straight as possible. This results in better relaxation, calmer sleep and not least – better quality sleep.
If the bed is too soft under your hips, your hips will sink too far down.
When the hips get the right support, and the spine is straight, you get better quality sleep.
Better sleep when you sleep on your side
The shoulder zone:
The shoulder zone in the bed has to be extra soft in order to help the shoulder to come down into the mattress. This provides better relaxation for both your neck and back.
The hip zone:
The hip area is the heaviest part of the body and needs a firmer hip zone to avoid that your hips are sinking too far into the mattress. When the hips are properly supported, the spine can be straightened and you get better relaxation and quality sleep.
Motorized shoulder and hip zone*:
With the remote control*, you can easily adjust the position of your hip and shoulders to straighten your spine. The shoulder and hip zone* can be adjusted as much as 7.5 cm from the lowest to the highest position.

The remote controls are already connected to each bottom frame. If you do not get the remote to work, check the section ”Remote control” to reconnect it. 1 2 3 4 5
Under the bottom frame: open the zipper at the head end. Detach the remote control and pull the cable through the hole in the bottom textile. Close the zipper. (Only applies to motorized models).
Assemble the legs at each corner of the bottom frames. Place the bottom frames in the right position; the curved edges shall be placed as outer edges of the bed.
Place the mattress cover on top of the bed frames and place the mattresses inside the cover. Firmness is marked on the side of the mattress. The curved long side is placed against the outer edge of the bed and the curved short side towards the foot end of the bed. Close the zipper.
Connect the bed cables to the mains.

GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION
Safe use of the motorized bed parts is possible only when the instructions are read completely and the instructions contained are strictly observed.
Pay close attention to the warnings marked with this warning symbol.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way.
Children shall not play with the electric parts or with the adjustable functions of the bed. Cleaning or maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision. If there is visible damage to the electric parts they must not be used.
The motor should only be used with the power supply included with the product. Only intended for indoor use.
Maximum weight load limit when using the motorized zones*:
• Hip zone (2 motors) max 300 kg.
• Shoulder zone (1 motor) max 150 kg.

The manufacturer of the motorized parts shall ensure that the use of the component complies with relevant standards – like The Machine Directive.
If your bed has motorized zones, the remote controls are already connected to each bed frame at delivery.
How to reconnect the remote
Unplug the bed cable and connect it to the mains again.
BP11: Push the buttons for up and down at the same time.

Battery
The remote control contains a coin battery. A coin battery can cause serious internal chemical burns if swallowed. Swallowing or insertion of a battery into the body may lead to serious injury or death in as little as 2 hours, due to chemical burn and potential perforation of the esophagus.
Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children. If you think a battery might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
Dispose used batteries immediately and safely.
Replacing the battery
The battery cover is placed on the bottom part on the front side of the remote. Press the battery cover down and slide to loosen it. Replace the battery and put the cover back on.

Maintenance
To extend the lifespan of the bed, vacuum the bed regularly and turn the mattresses inside the main mattress 1–2 times/year. Remove any stains with recommended furniture stain removal products. The cover for the top mattress is washable at 60°C (follow the washing instructions on the top mattress cover).
Repair and claims
All repairs of the motorized parts must be carried out by authorized LINAK service centers or repairers. If you have any questions about warranty or claims, please contact the store where you purchased the bed. Purchase receipt is needed.
Replace a motor*
The motors have been designed to last for many years. If, however, you should experience problems, the motors can easily be replaced:
• Open the zipper underneath the bed.
• Each motor is assembled with four nuts/bolts (1).
• On the bottom side of the wooden plate, hold the nut firmly with pliers or a spanner (1).
*Does not apply to all models
• Push the mattress slightly upwards with your hand and find the screw on the upper side of the wooden plate (2).
• Loosen the screws from above using a torx angle key or torx bits.
• Remove the motor and install the new motor in the same way. Close the zipper.
