Nigel Apps, Owner & Managing Director Nigel has worked with windows all of his adult life. After training and working as a joiner upon leaving school, Nigel set up his own joinery and window company in 1981.

Starting with buying and fitting aluminium windows, a year later, in 1982, the company started manufacturing made to measure aluminium windows and supplying hardwood subframes to other window companies By 1986, the demand for upvc was growing and the company began it's journey making upvc windows.

In June 1986, Nigel produced his first upvc window and this was the first of thousands more!

From the fledgling upvc window business in the 80's, we have grown with the times, to meet the demands of today's customer for energy efficient, eye catching window designs in a wide variety of colours.

From barn conversions to studio apartments, from family homes to businesses, Boston Trade Frames have supplied them all.

Over the last 35 years, we have seen businesses come and go. We believe that our commitment to looking after our customers and meeting their needs, combined with fair prices and top quality products and a wealth of knowledge has enabled us to go from strength to strength and be the reputable face of double glazing that we are today There's nothing about windows that Nigel does not know! 35 years an expert, we won't tell you it will work if we know it won't.

A touch of colour We can provide a range of colours including white, rosewood, anthracite grey, chartwell green, Irish oak, black, cream and golden oak effect. We can even offer bespoke coloured frames suited to your individual needs.

Due to the limitations of lithographic print these colour swatches may not be an exact colour match. Mahogany only available in chamfered frame.

Vertical Sliding Sash Windows Much thought has gone into our Vertical Sliding (VS) range to ensure that the attractive style of a vertical slider is retained, whilst providing all the benefits that modern technology can provide.

A wide variety of decorative options and colour choices are available, designed to the finest detail for a perfect finish. All our VS's are fitted with a double-sprung pre-tensioned balance, which assists the up and down movement of the sash. This product is available with a BSI Window Energy Rating of A as standard.

Our system is so versatile, so why not specify full height frames or even vertical sliders in your new conservatory.

Every conservatory is individually built using our Kรถmmerling window frames for performance and extra strength as well as a unique roof system that will keep out the elements ensuring many years of pleasure.

Our conservatories come in the following designs; Gable, Edwardian, Victorian, P shape, T shape as well as Lean-to. We also supply a range of popular sunrooms and can even design a bespoke conservatory catered to your individual taste and needs.
