we met at such an important point in our lives so many changes so many things that hurt we were looking for a safe place but i think

we were also looking for a place where the learning would come easier, softer, tender, patient, with care.

i saw so many beautiful parts of you some that were just being planted some that had started to sprout some that were growing green and strong

and i know life has been big and scary so many things have put you in a position where changing was choosing to survive and making yourself at home in your body again was (is) choosing to live

and i don’t have the words to explain how proud of you i am i’m beaming- writing this your growth is not only gorgeous to watch but in itself has taught me so much about you but also about me

I know now, I want to share my life with people who care, deeply (like you)

I want to give my time and energy (which are really our most valuable resource) to people whose life and evolution are a gift to witness

and I want to learn how to love them and care for them the way they want the way they deserve

And I will forever be thankful to you, my love for helping me learn that
